Chapter 1209
It was Aiden, of all people.
Fiona couldn't wrap her head around it. Why Aiden?
When Darwin was born, Aiden had already dead.
Growing up, Darwin only found out in his teens that Aiden was his biological father. Other than that, there was little else he came to know.
Brooke had wiped out every trace of Aiden she could.
No one was allowed to mention him.
Darwin shouldn't know much about him.
So how could it be Aiden?
"Where are you going?" Darwin suddenly frowned, looking ahead.
Fiona followed his gaze.
Besides Mike, there was no one else.
She couldn't quite describe her feelings at that moment.
From Darwin's perspective, Aiden glanced at Fiona. "I'll come back later, she doesn't look well."
Darwin immediately looked back at Fiona.
The attention that had suddenly been diverted returned. "What happened to your neck?"
Darwin's brows furrowed tightly.
Fiona gripped his hand tightly, like she was going to crush it.
"Don't you remember anything from last night?" Fiona asked.
Darwin shook his head, then said, "He must have taken control of my body, it must be that!"
As he spoke, he started trembling uncontrollably.
"No, I can't let him hurt you," Darwin said, trying to pull Fiona's hand off his. "Mike, take her away!"
"What are you doing?" Fiona asked hurriedly.
"I'm not safe now, I'm very dangerous, you know? You can't stay by my side anymore, I can't let him hurt you! Mike, take her away!" Darwin said.
Mike stood there.
He was very angry but didn't move, waiting for Fiona to speak.
"Darwin, calm down!" Fiona tried to soothe Darwin's emotions.
But as she got up, Darwin saw the larger bruises under her collar.
He was struck.
His emotions immediately became more agitated.
Darwin said, "I don't want you here! Go!"
Seeing this, Mike hurriedly stepped forward, pushed Darwin back onto the hospital bed, and then pressed the call button.
Christopher happened to be coming from Xavier's side.
Hearing the commotion, he also rushed into the ward.
Darwin was too agitated at this point, and Mike had difficulty controlling him.
Christopher hurried forward to help.
The two of them tightly pressed Darwin onto the bed.
Darwin's eyes were red, like a fish stranded on the shore, he looked at Fiona, pleading, "Go, please!"
The doctor quickly arrived.
In this situation, they could only give another sedative.
Darwin slowly calmed down, his eyes looking at Fiona became more sorrowful and guilty, and as his eyelids slowly closed, tears slid from the corners of his eyes.
The ward returned to silence, but it seemed almost too quiet.
"Mrs. Solomon, given Mr. Solomon's current condition," the doctor tried to choose his words carefully, then sighed, "it's best to arrange for a trusted psychologist for professional treatment as soon as possible. Relying on sedatives is not a solution."
"I am already arranging it," Fiona nodded.
The doctor added, "I happen to know a very famous team from a psychological disorder research institute, right in Bay City. Would you like me to help contact them?"
Fiona was stunned for a moment.
Then, she gave a bleak smile. "Are you talking about Dr. Hubert?"
"You know him? That's wonderful. Although Dr. Hubert is young, his expertise in this field is exceptionally rich, making him a top professional in the industry," the attending physician praised.
