Chapter 1068

Randy watched Darwin enter the elevator. Then he pushed the door open and entered the private room.

Ethan was standing there, his face pale.

It was as if he was facing not an enviable future, but a path to doom.

Randy had never seen Ethan like this. He called out softly, "Ethan."

It was as if he had suffered a catastrophic blow.

Randy said, "Forget it, if you really don't want to, I'll refuse for you."

"No need." Ethan was very good at weighing the pros and cons.

He could bear his own fate, but the owner of the tutoring center, Randy, and those who had helped him, they were innocent.

"What?" Randy looked shocked.

"Aren't we here to celebrate my birthday?" Ethan sniffed and sat down, "Order the food."

"As long as you've thought it through!" Randy clapped happily. "I know, there won't be anyone you know over there, and you'll be worried and scared, but your teacher and I have discussed it, and during winter and summer breaks, we'll visit you as much as possible."

Ethan was silent for a moment, then nodded.

He was always frugal. But today, he ordered extravagantly.

Randy let him be. He knew Ethan had resentment in his heart.

Although he didn't know what Darwin had said to persuade Ethan to go abroad, it was good that he was willing to take this step.

After lunch, Ethan blew out the candles and ate the birthday cake.

Then he said goodbye to Randy and went home.

All the way, Ethan, who wouldn't cry even if his ribs were broken, couldn't stop his tears.

When he got home, looking at the house he had just cleaned spotless, he walked to his parents' portraits.

Just looking at them, he was already sobbing uncontrollably.

Around the same time, at Emerald Pool. "It's strange, when Ethan was here, he would explain these problems and I would know how to solve them." Chicago was lying on the desk, stumped by a difficult problem. After mumbling, she looked at her phone on the side.

Half an hour ago, she had taken a picture of the problem and sent it to Ethan.

Usually, even if Ethan was busy, he would say he was busy and would reply later.

However, it's been half an hour now, he still hadn't replied.

"I just asked another teacher, take a look at the solution." Darwin, sitting across from Chicago, handed her the iPad.

Chicago glanced at it.

Although it was a bit complicated, she could understand it after looking at it.

But, while solving the problem, she kept mumbling, "Ethan is still better, his approach is much simpler!"

Saying this, She glanced at her phone again.

She pondered, 'Was there still no reply? Was Ethan asleep?'

Darwin saw that Chicago was distracted.

He increasingly felt that sending Ethan away was the right decision.

Chicago was so dependent on Ethan now. If this continued, it would be troublesome.
