Chapter 760 The Mole Identifies the Person

Fiona had always known that Antony was one of those who didn't believe Darwin was still alive.

When Mr. Soloman Sr. first came to see her, Antony had subtly mentioned that without a will, Mr. Soloman Sr. could legally claim a share of the property. He advised Fiona to only offer cash or something else to Mr. Soloman Sr., but never to give him any of Solomon's shares, as it would cause trouble.

He was acting as Darwin's proxy lawyer, and everything he did was to protect Darwin's interests to the fullest. But he never thought that Darwin might still be alive

"Let Mr. Soloman Sr. continue his antics. Although he has hired someone to package him as an artist who is not contentious, he has never been a good person at heart. He is lazy and all his presentable works are ghostwritten. Now that he is jumping so high on the internet, there will be people who can't stand it and will come forward to expose him," Fiona said to Antony in a businesslike manner.

"I understand." Antony nodded. "Then I won't bother you anymore. If he contacts me, I'll let you know."

"Okay, thank you for your hard work."

Antony then left in a hurry. Wyatt, looking nonchalant, watched the elevator doors close and jokingly asked Fiona, "Antony can be quite eccentric sometimes. I noticed a scar on Darwin's face. Do you think he might actually believe those online rumors and think that Darwin is a stand-in?"

"It's better for the lawyer to be a little eccentric." Fiona smiled faintly. "As for the stand-in... Mr. Durham, what do you think?"

Wyatt was slightly taken aback. It had been a long time since Fiona had called him Mr. Durham. Wyatt smiled and shook his head. "Darwin and I have been friends since childhood. I would recognize him even if he changed."

Most importantly, there was a red mole on Darwin's right arm. It was caused by Wyatt's mischief when they were kids.

That day, he and Darwin went to attend a wedding together. Wyatt accidentally slipped and fell into a bed of roses. Although the staff had tried their best to remove the thorns from the roses, there were inevitably some overlooked spots.

When Wyatt fell, he instinctively grabbed Darwin. And then he was fine. Darwin's arm was pricked by a thorn. Later, a red mole grew in that spot.

Just now, when Darwin walked in, Wyatt saw that red mole. Of course, if Fiona was really so amazing that she remembered all of Darwin's traits and managed to replicate them on a stand-in, then Wyatt felt that Fiona deserved to take all of Darwin's wealth. She worked so hard, she deserved it!

"What are you thinking?" Fiona snapped her fingers in front of Wyatt.

"What?" Wyatt snapped back to reality.

"I'm asking you, has Miss White returned?" Fiona asked.

Wyatt's expression darkened a bit.

"Are your parents still opposed?" Fiona asked.

Wyatt nodded. "Recently, my mom and grandma have been acting like they're mentally ill. They keep trying to set me up. Last week, a woman even came to the project looking for me..."

"You have to think it through, don't be confused." Fiona became more serious.

"I know what I'm doing."

Just as they were talking, the elevator opened again. Thalassa and a few others came in with dinner.

"Wyatt of the Durham family!" Janna greeted Wyatt kindly.

Wyatt stood up and quickly greeted Janna, "Janna!"

"You guys go ahead and take the dinner," Janna said to the servants who followed, then walked up to Wyatt, and looked at his head. "Have you recovered?"

"I've recovered very well!" Wyatt patted his head, "Sorry for making Grandma Rhoads worry."

"I wasn't that worried. I found out about it when you were already out of the hospital."

Wyatt smiled awkwardly. "Well, I have to go and see a friend, so I won't disturb your family dinner. I'll come back to Emerald Pool for a meal when I have time!"

"Okay." Fiona nodded. Wyatt left straight away.

"We just ran into Antony downstairs." Thalassa approached and linked arms with Fiona. "Are these two here to find out if there really is a stand-in because of the online rumors?"

Thalassa wasn't curious. She found it both ridiculous and very special. Such rumors were circulating on the internet, and quite a few people believed them. Today, even a business partner asked her about it, wanting to know if it was true!

"Antony is genuinely working for Darwin, and he's a lawyer, so it's good to be cautious. Wyatt is Darwin's best friend, and I was actually planning to tell him about this. He happens to be coming back for a meeting these days, so I thought I'd let him come and meet him."

Fiona was calm.

"Babe, I really envy your stable emotions!" Thalassa hung on Fiona.

Fiona smiled and rubbed her belly. "Did you behave in Mommy's belly today?"

"Of course!" Thalassa helped answer, "When I had my check-up today, I saw a pregnant woman, and it seemed like the baby in her belly was a little troublemaker, you could see him exercising through her belly!" Thalassa said, and she quickly touched her own belly.

"Compared to that, our baby is much more well-behaved!"

Fiona was amused by her horrified expression.

"Babe, what do you plan to do about those things on the internet?" Janna couldn't help but ask. She had also seen some of the online comments.

It was no wonder Thalassa was so angry. It was all nonsense. Netizens had quietly changed the course of events that happened before, and added some text rendering. It was completely changed...

Janna couldn't understand the internet.

"Don't worry, I can handle it." Fiona put her arm around Janna's shoulder. "Let's not talk about it in front of Darwin later, okay?"

"Okay!" Janna shook her head helplessly. She couldn't stand Fiona spoiling Darwin. She used to be able to scold Darwin. But now... a perfectly fine person, not to mention skinny, had lost his memory. He didn't even recognize words, and he had to be taught by Chicago!

Janna used to worry that the younger one would be illiterate, and now in a few months, the older one has become illiterate...

Dinner was sumptuous and delicious. It was lively with more people, especially with Thalassa around.

She and Chicago was sitting together; that was a natural comedy duo. They often make everyone laugh.

After Fiona finished eating. She sat next to Darwin and looked at his test paper. Darwin's handwriting, from the morning's scribbles, to the second page, the handwriting could barely be seen, from lying on the ground, to standing up. And then to the notes she had just come back with. His handwriting already had some traces of his previous notes.
