Beneath the text were photographs, comparing the ear shapes of the Secretary Woods and Fiona as well as subtle facial features.
This revelation crashed the Twitter servers.
"How come I never considered this possibility? Now, look at the comparison, their ear shapes are exactly the same. One can change her appearance, but the ear shapes are unchangeable!"
"And what about their height, folks? I tweeted my suspicion before on how two people could look so alike and be exactly the same height?" The person who posted this had uploaded a photo comparing Fiona standing next to Darwin with the Secretary Woods next to him.
"Yeah, and the timing of the pregnancy is so suspicious. If you alternate their identities, wouldn't it make sense for her to be pregnant during that time?"
"The timing of Fiona’s appearance is also strange. My old-money friends said they'd never heard of a granddaughter in the Rhoads family. In this photo, young Fiona and Thalassa, leaning on each other, were beaming with the glow of youth.
"Where did that class picture come from? I don't even have one!!" Thalassa was squatting on the couch, utterly baffled when she stumbled upon the post.
Fiona shook her head. "Maybe we did take a big group photo, but I forgot where mine was!"
"I came to think of it! " Thalassa slapped her thigh, "Didn't we lose a backpack during the trip we took when we graduated? That was probably when it got lost!"
"Right…" Fiona nodded.
"Honey, what do you think?" Darwin asked Fiona.
The truth was, Darwin felt conflicted about the situation. He was dying to let everyone know that he, Darwin, was not a heartbreaker and that he loved only one person from the beginning! But he was also worried about the negative impact the revelation might have on Fiona.
"What do you mean 'what do I think'?" Fiona looked up, "I never planned on doing anything. I intended to have Fiona 'die' in the air crash and, after making sure you wouldn't hold onto the past, find a chance to reclaim Fiona's identity."
Darwin looked coldly,'Had she been waiting all those years for him to fall for someone else and get married? '
"But if you acknowledge Fiona is Fiona, you'll definitely catch flak," Thalassa said with concern, "Maybe we should just let it cool off…"
"The number of people who know my real identity will only keep growing. Rather than let the truth eventually become someone else's weapon to attack me with, I'd rather just admit it. Let them talk. Many were genuinely upset about me back then." Fiona said calmly.
On the internet, the discussion was raging about whether Fiona and the Secretary Woods were the same person. During the peak of the heated arguments, Fiona's social media account got updated with a new post.
"I appreciate the concern. There's been a lot of speculation about my identity online, which has troubled many friends who care about me, and I apologize. This matter concerns private issues, and therefore, I will only respond to this once. Yes, Fiona is indeed Fiona."
The comment section exploded.
"Holy smokes, I was just ranting in the group chat about the ridiculousness of the person who leaked this! And now you're telling me it's true!!!"
"What on earth about the plane crash? Don't tell me Fiona escaped from a near-death experience while pregnant with twins?"

Darwin tweeted.
"A piece of commom knowledge – my wife has never been a public figure. She really has no obligation to lay her privacy bare for the public to scrutinize. Regarding the incident six years ago, the fault was mine. My overbearing and tyrannical behavior left her no choice but to hide. Now, our family's life is peaceful and happy, and we hope this controversy can come to a rest. Much obliged for everyone's interest."
"So, what's the deal with the plane crash? Did Fiona fake it?"
Darwin replied, "She did board that plane, but felt unwell before takeoff and got off."
"Wasn't it said that the Secretary Woods's family was in a rough spot? How did she turn out to be Fiona?"
Darwin responded, "She was reunited with her estranged family."
Below this reply were nothing but exclamation points.
