"We'll establish a protected area for the rare corals and hire professionals to take care of them. This will make the coral reef a unique feature of our resort."
Darwin joined in, "Yes! This beautiful coral reef is exclusive to our resort." Darwin smiled and continued, "There are many other unique places on the island. You can have the designers explore and build guest rooms based on those unique views."
"Great! When you're feeling better, we'll go back to the island with the design team, and you can share your ideas with them," Fiona suggested.
Darwin was slightly taken aback. "You still allow me to go?"
"Why wouldn't I?" Fiona looked at him. "That island is a gift from you, and it means a lot to me. When we were walking on the beach, I heard Henry telling me about the journey you went through when you bought the island. I hoped that one day, I could walk hand in hand with you under the sunset on the beach."
"Okay." Darwin's eyes were deep, and his smile was incredibly gentle. During this time, he had been trying hard to recall the past, but he still couldn't remember anything. However, his instinctive feelings for Fiona had become a kind of love. He felt a natural desire to be close to her. A few days later, when Darwin went to see a psychologist alone, he mentioned this thought. "Daddy, have you finished your check-up? What did the doctors say? Are you okay? Can you come home with me soon?" Chicago hurriedly asked.
"Yes, I'm all done. The doctors said everything is fine, and I can go home with Chicago soon," Darwin replied gently.
Chicago jumped in place a couple of times and exclaimed, "I knew it!"
"Chicago, why are you in such a hurry? You're all sweaty. Let me wipe your face," Fiona said, reaching out to Chicago.
Chicago happily ran to her and said, "Mommy, I ranked eighth in the school in last week's mid-term exam!"
"What was your rank the time before that?" Fiona asked, her face full of surprise.
"I was 46th!" Chicago puffed out her chest, looking proud, with a face that said, "Praise me, praise me, praise me." Although proud, she was so adorable that she didn't annoy her at all.
"Chicago, you're amazing! How about a reward from me?" Fiona gently touched noses with Chicago.
Chicago enjoyed interacting with Fiona. "I study hard for myself, Mommy. I don't need a reward," Chicago maturely refused.
"I see... I was thinking of asking you to teach Daddy how to read... since you don't need it..." Fiona said, looking disappointed.
"I want it!" Chicago immediately raised his hand high. "I want this reward!"
Darwin's cheeks were a little sore from smiling. When they were on the island, Aura often said, "Blaise, you never smile. Blaise, you should smile more; you look good when you smile!"
Now that he was back with his loved one, Darwin's face was always smiling.
