Chapter 1167

"Gotcha," Fiona nodded. "Ask him what he likes so I can get the stuff ready."

Darwin grinned. "After meeting you, he'll like you."

"Obviously, who wouldn't love me?" Fiona said with a smirk.

Darwin wiped some coffee foam off the corner of her mouth.

Breakfast flew by in no time.

Then, they immersed themselves in a long meeting and on-site inspection with the designers.

This design team was top-tier, all thanks to Fiona's connections.

They totally got what Darwin and Fiona wanted for the hotel and quickly whipped up some initial ideas.

Two days zipped by in a flash.

The plan was finally locked in.

Fiona and Darwin decided to crash one more night in Blaise and head back to Bay City the next morning.

That evening, after wrapping up work, they changed into casual clothes and took a stroll along the coastline.

The Gray family's inn, the first place to get the wrecking ball in Blaise, was now just a flat piece of land.

Fiona glanced at it as they walked by.

She used to think the inn was warm and cozy, but after learning about Gray's shady actions, she realized it was more like a prison for Aura's dad.

'Now that it's gone, maybe the guy who was stuck there can finally feel free,' Fiona thought.

"Don't look," Darwin said, blocking her view with his hand.

Fiona chuckled softly.

"Forcing Ethan to study abroad was my fault, but the Gray family deserved their fate," Darwin added.

"Let's not dwell on the past," Fiona said, rubbing his back. "Do you still know how to row a boat?"

She paused and snorted. "Aura once bragged that you took her rowing to see the Blaise Sea."

This season, the Blaise Sea wasn't as stunning as when Fiona first saw it.

Darwin frowned. "She was the one rowing and dragging me along!"

His face showed clear disgust.

Fiona knew he truly despised the Gray family, so she let it go.

They walked a bit further.

Darwin seemed a bit down.

"Do you know where I first saw you after losing my memory?" he asked.

"Where?"

Darwin pointed to the ground. "Right here."

"Here?" Fiona was surprised.

"I was in the Gray's inn, looking out from the second-floor window. I saw you and Harold walking together through binoculars," Darwin said, "And then my heart hurt so much."

"Heart hurt?" Fiona was totally taken aback.
