Chapter 934

"Hello, do you recognize my voice? I'm Chicago, and I'll protect you from now on!"
Several adults immediately smiled.

"Don't just stand there! Hurry, take her to the ward!" Janna always felt a breeze somewhere would affect the baby, urging quickly.

"Matt, be careful when you hold her!" Scarlet directly handed the child to Matt, then, along with Fiona and Burl, eagerly watched the entrance of the delivery room. "Why hasn't Thalassa come out yet..."

Matt's eyes welled up with tears, and he carefully held the baby, ready to leave. "Chicago..."

He originally thought Chicago would be with him. But when Matt turned around,  he saw Chicago also anxiously looking towards the delivery room entrance.

Upon hearing his voice, Chicago said politely, "Mr. Walker, thank you for looking after the baby. I'll wait for Ms. Thalassa."

"Good girl!" Matt nodded repeatedly.

Then he walked away, muttering to the baby, "Baby, you must learn from Chicago in the future and take care of your mom."

The nurse, after handing over the child, went back.

Upon entering, she said to her colleagues, "It serves them right for being wealthy."

"What's going on?"

"One family member left; the rest all stayed outside waiting for the mother."

"Her husband is also very good. He stayed with her the whole time and cried several times." The nurse shook her head with a sigh. "I've seen a lot of that kind of thing. After the child is born, the whole family takes the baby and leaves, leaving the mother alone and unattended outside. Encountering this situation really moves me!"

"The key is, the top three wealthiest families are all outside!" The nurse paused. "The third generation is also included. Ms. Woods and Mr. Solomon's son is incredibly handsome, exuding a CEO aura from a young age. Growing up in such a good family atmosphere, he will definitely be an outstanding man in the future. I wonder which woman this great man will choose."

"Ms. Woods' daughter is also beautiful, like a carved jade. When I was leaving, she held my hand softly, asked me how her godmother was, and thanked me for my hard work. My heart was utterly captivated."

"You're all only concerned about the child; did anyone else see that attractive man besides me?" At this point, another nurse walked over. "The one with hair almost covering his eyes?"

"Is the one who just cried so sadly?" The nurse who took the child out suddenly realized.

"Cried?"

"Yes, he seemed to have been holding back for a long time. He didn't even look at the child; he just asked about his sister and if everything was okay."

"Oh my! So cute, I love him even more!"

This nurse had finished her work. She signed a document, teased Burl a bit, and then went straight out.

Accidentally, as she was leaving, she happened to see Janna scolding Burl.

"How can you still cry like this when you're already so grown up? Aren't you afraid of Charles and Chicago making fun of you?" Janna had actually comforted Burl, but it didn't work.

Burl's tears seemed endless.

After a few comforting words, Janna got annoyed and just slapped the back of Burl's head.

Burl stopped sobbing.

"Ms. Rhoads, don't scold him." Chicago protected Burl. "Ms. Carey hasn't come out yet; I'm worried too."

"Then why aren't you crying, Chicago?" Janna turned her face, her voice becoming soft.

"I'm holding it in; I'll cry when Ms. Carey comes out." Chicago's eyes still reddened.

The nurses passing by were all charmed by her cuteness.

There was even a term for delayed tears.

Fiona had been quiet the whole time; her delivery was not smooth; it was a matter of life and death in the end.

After giving birth, there was a long rescue operation.

Since Thalassa hadn't come out, she was very uneasy.

Darwin was always by her side. He didn't say much.

He knew that when Fiona gave birth to Charles and Chicago, he wasn't by her side...
