Chapter 1013
"Alright." Fiona nodded. "Let's have the doctor contact them to confirm the appointment time."
The Rhoads Group and the Solomons did not have anyone as authoritative in psychological disorders as Hubert.
However, Anna had managed to contact a very skilled psychologist whose team specialized in the study of dissociative identity disorder.
"Okay." Alexander nodded.
Thalassa roughly knew that Stella had encountered a poor woman suffering from dissociative identity disorder.
Fiona and Stella were both in contact with Hubert and trying to help.
However, Thalassa did not know what the woman had gone through.
"How could she develop dissociative identity disorder out of the blue?" Thalassa sighed. "I wonder what kind of torment she must have endured behind her illness."
Stella and Fiona exchanged a glance.
Then Stella said, "No matter what, meeting us means her luck is starting to turn for the better!"
"Yes!" Thalassa nodded. "With better luck, good days are ahead!"
Darwin listened in silence; he seemed to hear the sound of dripping water. One drop after another, ethereal and chilling, as if it would drown out the voices around him.
Outside on the terrace.
The children were sitting around under the parasol, eating the snacks Stella had brought back.
"Just thinking about you all leaving North Alabama the day after tomorrow makes me lose my appetite," said Brady, putting down the donut in his hand with a long sigh.
Chicago took several delicious snacks and pushed them in front of Ethan.
Then she continued talking to Brady, "Didn't you say you were going to discuss moving to the Bay City with your parents?"
Brady sighed deeply at this. "I did, and my mom spanked me twice."
Chicago had seen Brady get spanked before. She patted his shoulder lightly, saying, "When you grow up and can earn your own money, you can move to the Bay City."
"That's all I can do," Brady sighed again and said, "I'm really going to miss you guys."
Charlotte was speechless.
Brady tugged at Chicago. "Chicago, hurry up and eat, it's almost gone."
Saying this, he glanced at the lid in front of Ethan. Then he took a piece of cheesecake that Chicago liked, placing it in front of her.
Ethan remained silent. He didn't like sweets or pastries, so he simply pushed the lid towards Chicago. "You eat it; I don't like it."
"Ethan, being so picky won't help you grow taller," Chicago said.
This year, Chicago grew faster than both Charles and Ethan.
She often worried that Charles and Ethan wouldn't grow tall.
"These will make you gain weight, not height," Ethan replied, "You eat."
Chicago stared at the tempting desserts, thinking about what Ethan had said about gaining weight.
"You're not fat," Charlotte said, "You've grown a bit taller recently and gotten thinner, so don't worry, just enjoy it."
"Yes! I've grown a bit taller!" saying this, Chicago began to eat heartily without any burden.
Because of a sudden fever, Charles had become a priority for care.
Fiona didn't let him come out.
Earlier, when Scarlet was video chatting with Matt, he and Samuel were playing chess with Charles.
Matt was sweating profusely, completely defeated by Charles.
He had no intention of talking to his wife; his mind was entirely focused on crushing Charles's spirit.
Burl was a nagging person. He was explaining the game to Scarlet in the video.
Matt was so angry that he threw a shoe at Burl.
"These few are for my brother!" Chicago said happily while eating, still thinking about Charles and fearing that Brady might eat those pieces, too.
