Chapter 1118

"It's you!" Zachary pointed at Henry and yelled, "It has to be you! You're scared Mr. Solomon won't give you the same power as Mrs. Solomon when he gets back, so you don't want him to return!"

Henry stayed silent.

"Mr. Solomon, Mrs. Solomon, please see the truth. I was used by someone with bad intentions! I can offer you this person's Facebook and phone number. Find him! He exploited my loyalty to the Solomons and framed Mrs. Solomon! He's dangerous! If he stays in the company, it'll be a huge risk!" Zachary shouted, his voice cracking.

Darwin, annoyed, ordered someone to drag them all away.

"Mr. Solomon, I'm willing to cooperate with the investigation," Henry said afterward.

"Alright, you can go now too," Fiona said, waving her hand. "We've all had a long day, let's wrap it up."

The three of them looked at Darwin.

Darwin nodded slightly.

Henry, Ivan, and Timothy then left the CEO's office one after the other.

"You're not mad, are you?" Darwin wrapped his arm around Fiona's waist and looked at her.

"Why would I be mad? Just like a joke," Fiona said, gently tracing Darwin's eyebrows with her fingertips. "Why didn't you tell me about this at lunch?"

"I planned to tell you at home. I didn't expect them to slander you directly," Darwin said, annoyed.

Fiona pursed her lips. "I actually believe what Zachary said. He was threatened, and that recording might not have been staged."

"Yeah," Darwin agreed.

The recent issues weren't just about the project proposal. Darwin had noticed other problems too.

"Are you going to investigate it thoroughly?" Fiona asked.

"I've already got people on it. We should have results soon," Darwin said, resting his cheek on Fiona's abdomen and closing his eyes. "Work is so exhausting."

Fiona laughed. "How about I cooperate with them and kick Mr. Solomon out of the Solomons?"

"Up to you," Darwin replied without hesitation.

Fiona gently patted his shoulder. "No way! You need to work hard!"

Darwin chuckled, then stopped whining. "Let's go home. I promised Chicago last night we'd go back early today ."

"I heard she's planning a surprise to celebrate your official return to work," Fiona said with a hint of bitterness.

Chicago had always been very concerned about the family's well-being. Now that Darwin was finally back to work, she was probably the happiest one in the family. She had been preparing the surprise for two days.

A moment later, Darwin and Fiona walked out of the office. The staff in the CEO's office stood neatly at the elevator entrance, respectfully pressing the button for them.

Fiona glanced around. Some blurry memories began to resurface in her mind.

Time went by quickly.
