Chapter 1008 Came to the Rojas Group

Unable to reach Christina, Renee thought for a long time and remembered one of Christina's former classmates.

Christina was always very reclusive and hadn't made many friends over the years.

There was only one classmate she had mentioned a few times, and Renee guessed they might be close.

She quickly went to Christina's room. Christina had left in a hurry and hadn't taken many things with her. Renee rummaged around and found an old yearbook hidden at the bottom of a cabinet.

Christina had only gotten a cell phone when she graduated from college, so her earlier contact information must be in the yearbook.

Renee searched for a long time before finding the classmate's phone number in the yearbook and called directly. "Hello?"

The person on the other end was completely confused. "Hello, who is this?"

"I'm Christina's mother. I want to ask if Christina is with you. Can you let her answer the phone?" Renee's tone was commanding.

The classmate knew from their college days that Renee was not good to Christina and often helped her half-sister bully her. Hearing it was Renee, the classmate's tone turned cold. "Sorry, she's not with me."

"How is that possible? Christina only has you as a friend. If she doesn't go to you, who else would she go to?"

The classmate then realized that Christina had left the Russell family. Thinking of what she had been through, the classmate felt sorry for her and disliked Renee even more. "You can't take care of your own daughter and now you're asking me? Do you even deserve to be a mother? If I were Christina, I wouldn't acknowledge you as my mom!"

With that, the classmate hung up and immediately blocked Renee's number.

After this series of actions, the classmate still felt uneasy and sent Christina a message: [Your mom called me. She seems to be looking for you.]

Seeing the message and recalling the call she had just received, Christina felt that something was off with Renee.

Whatever she was up to, Christina knew it couldn't be anything good.

Unable to get any information about Christina from the classmate, Renee was troubled.

After thinking for a long time, she remembered a news article she had seen online.

She took out her phone and searched for the previous photos but only found the statement issued by the Rojas Group.

"The Rojas Group."

Since Christina had a connection with this company, maybe they would know where she was.

Renee followed the address on the navigation map to the Rojas Group. Seeing how grand the company was, she couldn't help but marvel. "I didn't expect Christina to have such skills, to know the boss of this company! Wow, this company is huge!"

After marveling, Renee was overjoyed.

Renee walked in confidently and approached the front desk. "Where is your president? I have something to discuss with him."

The receptionist at the Rojas Group had seen all kinds of people over the years, including many like Renee, and didn't even look at her. "Do you have an appointment?"

"Appointment? Why would I need an appointment?" Renee, fully assuming the role of the president's mother-in-law, dismissed the receptionist and started walking towards the entrance.

Seeing this, the receptionist quickly went up to stop her. "Ma'am, you can't just go in."

Renee, furious, pushed the receptionist aside and tried to barge in, but she couldn't get through the gate.

Seeing she couldn't stop her, the receptionist quickly called for security.

Two security guards came and lifted her up, intending to escort her out of the company.

Renee struggled in vain, and seeing she was about to be thrown out, she shouted, "I'm Christina's mother! My daughter has a connection with your president! If you throw me out, your president won't let you off!"

Just then, Ruben happened to return to the company.

He wasn't planning to intervene in the lobby commotion, but hearing Renee claim to be Christina's mother, he stopped.

"Let her go," Ruben walked over with a slight smile, "Ma'am, did you say you're Christina's mother?"

Renee rubbed her sore arm and looked at Ruben. "Yes, I'm Christina's mother. Who are you?"

"I'm the president of the Rojas Group, the person you're looking for."

Hearing that Ruben was the president she was looking for, Renee's expression changed, and she put on a flattering smile. "So you're Mr. Rojas! I'm Christina's mother, Renee. I'm here to ask about Christina."

Although he didn't know why Renee was asking about Christina, Ruben was polite because she was Christina's mother and brought her to his office.

"Please have a seat." Ruben offered Renee a seat and poured her a glass of water, "What do you want to ask about Christina?"

Renee looked around the luxurious office, feeling envious.

The key point was that the president of such a big company was so polite to her, making her feel important!

It was the first time in her life she had been treated this way, and it felt great.

"I called her, but she didn't answer. Knowing you know her, I came to ask you." Mentioning Christina, Renee's face showed some resentment, "Christina is really worrisome."

Ruben sensed some dissatisfaction in Renee's tone towards Christina.

He didn't know much about Christina's family situation, but it seemed complicated.

"Christina has been busy lately and might not have heard your call. How about I call her and ask her to come over?"

Renee sensed that Ruben had special feelings for Christina and agreed with a smile.

Ruben called Christina, and she quickly answered. "Hello, Christina, do you have time now?"

"Ruben, what's up?" Christina was submitting resumes and looking for a job.

Ruben glanced at Renee. "Your mother is at my company, saying she couldn't reach you."

"What?" Christina was shocked. "She found you?"
