Chapter 253 Tony and Katherine Have Some Fun

"Who's that? She's gorgeous!" Tony glanced at Katherine, swallowing hard.

Hearing Scarlett's comment and seeing Tony's eager reaction, Sophie laughed and said, "Tony, that girl isn't just beautiful; she knows how to have fun! Go talk to her; you'll definitely like her!"

Tony's interest was piqued even more.

"She knows how to have fun? What kind of fun?" Tony asked.

Sophie gave a suggestive smile. "You know, the kind of fun men like. She's really good at it!"

Tony rubbed his chin, nearly drooling with excitement.

"Great, I'll let you and Miss Jones catch up. I'm going to chat with that cutie!" he said.

As Tony walked towards Katherine, Scarlett put on a fake, worried expression.

"Is it really okay to send Tony over to Katherine?" Scarlett asked, feigning concern.

Sophie dismissed her concern. "What's wrong with that? Katherine's just looking for a rich guy to rely on. With her humble background, she's always eyeing Alex and Bernard! Tony, being a wealthy young man, is perfect for her! And if they hit it off, it would be great. It would save us from Katherine trying to seduce Alex!"

"But," Scarlett pretended to be unsure, then nodded 'naively.' "Hmm. Maybe you're right. If Katherine marries Tony, it would be good. We could become relatives and hang out more often!"

Sophie facepalmed, thinking her friend was too naive. She still wanted to be relatives with that little vixen Katherine and hang out with her!
"Yeah, if she marries Tony, it would be like hitting the jackpot. That would be her good fortune!" Sophie replied.

They both nodded in agreement and turned to look at Katherine, only to see Tony already chatting her up.

Katherine had eaten too many sweets and felt thirsty. She picked an orange drink from the buffet, sniffed it to make sure it wasn't alcohol, and took a small sip. It tasted good—a mix of various freshly squeezed fruits.

She stood quietly by the buffet, sipping her drink and casually observing the decor of Moonlight Manor, feeling a bit conflicted.

She had been to Moonlight Manor a few times before and always felt a strange sense of familiarity, but she never paid much attention to it.

Now she understood it was because she used to be a daughter of the Mitchell family, which made the manor feel familiar.

What had happened to the Mitchell family back then that forced her mother to leave with her as a child, hiding and even entrusting her to an old friend, disappearing without a trace, her fate unknown?

Thinking of her mother's uncertain fate, Katherine felt down and had an even worse impression of the Mitchell family and its people.

"Hey there, pretty lady, why are you drinking alone?" Tony asked.

Katherine snapped out of her thoughts and looked at the man approaching her. He was wearing a flashy plaid suit and looked somewhat greasy.

"It's not wine, just juice," Katherine replied calmly.

Tony picked a delicate-looking dessert from the buffet and handed it to her. "My anut’s parties always have great desserts. Here, try this chestnut cake; it tastes great!"
"Thank you, but I've already had some," Katherine declined, intrigued by what he said. "Did you say your aunt hosts this party? So, you're part of the Mitchell family?"

Tony nodded without hesitation. "Yeah, I'm part of the Mitchell family!"

He was a cousin from the maternal side of the Mitchell family's patriarch's wife, which made him distantly related to the Mitchell family.

The Mitchell family was a symbol of status, and he had to play the part!

Katherine looked at Tony, who was related to the Mitchell family and didn't seem very smart. Maybe she could get some information from him about the family's past.

Someone as sharp as Bernard was too alert and cautious, making it impossible to get any information from him directly.

With that in mind, Katherine smiled warmly at the man. "Nice to meet you."

Tony was charmed by Katherine's smile. "Nice to meet you too! What should I call you, pretty lady?"

"It’s Katherine Galatea. You can call me Galatea," Katherine replied.

"Ms. Galatea, I’m Tony, Tony Steven!" Tony probed further, "By the way, Ms. Galatea, is that coat you're wearing from your date?"

If this pretty lady had a date, especially one with a significant background, he wouldn't make a move.

Katherine answered honestly, "He's not really my date. I came with my boss, who kindly lent me the coat."

Tony smiled with satisfaction. "I see! My plus-one just asked me to accompany her to the party, but now she's off dancing with someone else! Ms. Galatea, it looks like we're in the same boat!"
Katherine replied, "Seems so!"

"Is this your first time at Moonlight Manor, Ms. Galatea? If you have time, I could show you around the estate," Tony suggested.

"You can do that? I heard that other than the banquet hall, the rest of Moonlight Manor is off-limits," Katherine asked.

Tony was thrilled that the pretty lady was interested in going with him!

Katherine only noticed that Tony was trying to hit on her but didn't recognize his sleazy intentions.

She did want to see more of Moonlight Manor, hoping it might trigger some childhood memories.

However, her status made it inconvenient to wander around. If she got caught, it would be hard to explain, and Bernard might fire her.

But if someone from the Mitchell family showed her around, it would be different!

Tony patted his chest. "Of course I can. This is the Mitchell family's estate; there's no place I can't go!"

Katherine nodded. "Alright, I'll trouble you to show me around then!"

Tony thought this woman was smart. By agreeing to walk with him, she was essentially agreeing to have some fun with him!

Sophie said this pretty lady knew how to have fun, and it seemed true!

She looked innocent, but she was probably wild in private!

He loved this type. So exciting!

Already itching with excitement, Tony eagerly led Katherine to the second floor of the banquet hall.

He remembered there were many empty rooms on the second floor of Moonlight Manor, and the beds were big enough for some fun!
