Chapter 737 The Child's Clothes Are Not Right

Julian had an innocent look on his face, "I'm not making things up. I really don't have a brother!"

Katherine was really angry, her voice turned stern. "George, you're being very naughty today! If you keep this up, Mommy won't like you anymore!"

Julian saw the disappointment in her eyes and felt a bit panicked. He reached out and grabbed her hand. "Don't...don't dislike me, Mommy."

For the first time, Julian called "Mommy," and it didn't feel difficult at all.

At home, Sophia always taught him to call her "Mommy," but for some reason, he just didn't want to and couldn't bring himself to say it.

Hearing him give in, Katherine didn't soften immediately. She sternly instructed him, "Charles was upset when he heard you say that! Go apologize to him now!"

Julian pouted but obediently walked over to Charles. "I'm sorry; please, don't be mad."

Charles looked up and smiled generously at Julian. "George! I'm not mad. I'll always like you and Edith!"

Charles opened his arms and hugged him. "Mommy said that all of us are the closest people in the world, and we should love each other forever!"

At first, Julian felt a bit uncomfortable being hugged, but then he felt the genuine affection from Charles, and his heart warmed.

Julian had always been an only child, staying with Trevor and Sophia, and no one had ever taught him how to interact with siblings. He had never been around kids his age and always played alone.

So this was what it felt like to have a brother—so warm and comforting.

Seeing her two sons make up, Katherine's expression softened. "Alright, hurry up and get in the bathtub! Your great-grandma will call us for dinner soon!"

Following her words, Charles and Julian obediently took off their clothes and jumped into the bathtub.

Katherine tied up her long hair with a hair tie and sat by the bathtub. She picked up the baby shampoo and squeezed some into her hand. "I'll wash Charles's hair first, then yours, okay, George?"

Julian nodded. "Okay!"

Katherine gently and carefully washed Charles's hair, making sure the foam didn't get into his eyes.

Half an hour later, Katherine finished bathing them, dried their hair, and dressed them in clean clothes.

Charles and Julian ran out.

Julian had felt a bit shy here at first, but after playing with toys in the bath with Charles, he relaxed completely.

He liked it here, liked the atmosphere, and didn't want to leave!

At his own home, it was just Sophia with him every day, which was very boring.

However, he did miss Trevor a bit.

But for now, he wanted to stay and play with the beautiful woman and Charles for a few more days before going back!

Charles and Julian were chasing each other around the house and accidentally knocked over Edith's doll.

The doll fell to the ground, and Julian immediately picked it up and handed it back to Edith.

Edith took her doll but looked at him warily. "I know you're not George, right?"

Julian was stunned. He hadn't expected that Edith would figure it out while Katherine and Charles didn't notice.

He wasn't good at lying, and being questioned by Edith left him speechless for a while.

At that moment, there was a knock on the bedroom door!

Fiona's voice came through, "Charles, George, Edith, come downstairs for dinner! We have steak, your favorite!"

Charles's eyes lit up at the mention of steak, and he came over to pull Julian's hand. "Come on! Let's go eat steak!"

Julian snapped out of it; he looked at Charles, then at Edith.

He still didn't know how to answer Edith. He didn't want to admit he wasn't her brother, fearing that if he was found out, Katherine would send him back. He hadn't had enough fun yet!

So, he didn't answer Edith and followed Charles to open the door for Fiona and go downstairs for steak!

Fiona watched them run off in a hurry and called out with a hint of exasperation, "Slow down! The food's not going anywhere!"

Charles and Julian were already downstairs.

Fiona shook her head and looked at Edith, who was still sitting calmly on the bed. She couldn't help but think that no matter the age, little girls were always more composed and elegant, unlike those two rascals!

"Edith, where's your mommy?"

Edith hugged her doll and pointed to the bathroom, "Mommy's still in there!"

Fiona walked in and peeked into the bathroom. Katherine was gathering up the dirty clothes that the children had taken off, preparing to give them to the maid for washing.

"Katherine, it's time for dinner!" Fiona called out.

Katherine came out with the kids' clothes, "Okay, let's go!"

Fiona glanced at the clothes in her hand and noticed something odd, "Wait, whose little shirt is this?"

Hearing Fiona's question, Katherine also looked down at the clothes in her hand.

Most of the kids' clothes were bought by Katherine and Fiona, and sometimes Sandra would make clothes for them.

Katherine and Fiona usually bought clothes from a few specific brands because of their good material.

Boys' clothes didn't have as many styles as girls', mostly similar.

The white polo shirt in her hand was similar to many George had, but they had never bought from that obscure brand.

Katherine immediately noticed that the label on the white polo shirt Julian had taken off was different.

Fiona took the little shirt and examined it closely, puzzled, "Katherine, did you buy this for the kids? I've never heard of this brand."

Katherine frowned. She hadn't heard of the brand either. "I didn't buy it."

"If neither of us bought it, how did George get this shirt? That's strange! Let me look up this brand!"

With that, Fiona took out her phone and searched for the brand name on the little polo shirt.

The search results showed that it was a niche brand from Markovia, only available in Markovia.

Fiona was even more puzzled, "Only available in Markovia? We haven't been to Markovia recently, so how did this shirt end up on George?"

Katherine also had questions. She had been too focused on scolding the runaway George to notice these details. What was going on?

How did he suddenly have a strange shirt?
