Chapter 785 Follow Me

Sophia was very happy to hear this, "Dad, if you're here, you can definitely solve these problems quickly. Then our family can go back to Markovia together, and I can properly prepare for my wedding with Trevor!"

"Yes, Sophia, wait for me!"

After hanging up the phone with Brent, Sophia felt a great sense of relief.

With Brent coming to handle things personally, let's see who dared to breach the contract now!

At that moment, the door to the master bedroom of the hotel gently closed. Trevor turned his wheelchair around and saw that George was already awake, blinking his big eyes at Trevor.

"Uncle Trevor, what were you sneaking a peek at just now?"

George's eyes were full of curiosity.

Trevor put a finger to his lips and whispered, "From now on, whether in front of others or not, you have to call me Dad."

George blinked, "Really? I thought you didn't like me calling you Dad?"

Trevor squinted his eyes, "Why would you think that?"

George pouted, "Because I'm not your biological son. If I called you Dad, I'm afraid you might be unhappy."

Trevor looked at George, who looked exactly like Julian, though their personalities were a bit different. But he was still his child.

Trevor gently rubbed George's head, "When you call me Dad, it makes me very happy."

George was a bit flattered, "Really? You don't dislike me?"

Trevor pursed his lips, "Why would I dislike you?"

George smiled joyfully and leaned closer to him, "Dad! Do you not like that woman outside?"

Trevor's expression paused at George's question, "Why would you think that?"

George whispered, "Because you never smile when you see her! My mommy says that when you like someone, you can't help but smile when you see them, and your eyes will always want to look at them! From what I've observed, you never smile at her, and you don't really look at her."

Trevor was silent. He indeed didn't like Sophia.

After three years of living together every day, he felt nothing.

Even though he had no memories of anyone, his heart still skipped a beat when he saw Katherine.

Perhaps, as Bernard had said that day, he had a deep bond with Katherine and loved her very much.

"Alright, kids shouldn't be nosy about adult things." Trevor didn't directly answer George.

George said, "Dad, when you break up with Sophia, I'll introduce my mommy to you. My mommy is very beautiful!"

Trevor was amused by George and said deliberately, "Aren't you afraid your dad will get angry if you introduce your mommy to me?"

George said, "My dad won't come back! Mommy misses Dad every day, but what's the use? I want Mommy to be happy more than anything! And I think you're a handsome and nice guy. If you can make my mommy forget about my dad who never comes home, that would be great!"

Trevor was stunned, "Your mommy misses your dad every day? How can you tell?"

George scratched his chin thoughtfully. "She sits in Dad's study and seems lost in thought. She must be thinking about him! My mommy is a very gentle person. She never talks about her sadness because she doesn't want to make others feel bad."

A gentle person? Trevor thought of the day Katherine had her hand around his neck, wanting to strangle him to death.

Maybe, at least she didn't actually strangle him.

There was a sudden noise behind the door, and the doorknob was being turned.

Trevor immediately became alert and returned to his usual calm and indifferent demeanor.

Sophia pushed open the door and saw the fake Julian talking to Trevor. A hint of displeasure flashed in her eyes, but she smiled and asked, "Julian, you are awake! What are you two talking about?"

Trevor said, "Nothing, Julian said he's hungry."

Sophia didn't doubt Trevor and smiled, "I just came to ask what you two want for dinner. There's not much food in the fridge, so I was going to buy some groceries!"

Trevor looked at her and said in a rare gentle tone, "Forget it; you've been busy all day. Don't go out to buy groceries. Just have the hotel send something to eat."

Sophia was a bit touched that Trevor actually cared about her, "Trevor, it's okay. I enjoy cooking for you and Julian!"

Trevor said, "You can cook tomorrow. Rest more today! And Julian said he's hungry now, so it's faster to have the hotel send food."

Sophia's smile froze. She thought Trevor was concerned about her, but it turned out he was just worried that her cooking would be slow and delay the child's meal.

"Alright! I'll call the hotel to send something Julian likes to eat!"

Sophia was about to call the hotel, but looking at George next to Trevor, she suddenly felt a bit unhappy.

"Julian, come here! Help Mommy call the hotel so you can tell them directly what you want to eat!" she said, forcing a smile at George.

George didn't like Sophia and looked up, "I don't want to go with you. I want to stay with Dad!"

Sophia's face darkened for a moment, but she tried to keep smiling, "Julian, I'm taking you to order food!"

George still clung to Trevor and ignored Sophia.

Worried that Sophia might notice something unusual, Trevor gently rubbed George's head, "Go ahead! Ask for whatever you want from the hotel staff, and get me a bowl of noodles too."

"Alright then!" George finally nodded, a bit reluctantly, and walked over to Sophia. "Let's go! I'll come with you."

Sophia felt a strong urge to slap the imposter Julian, but she forced herself to smile and remain composed. "Okay, let's go together!"

Watching George leave with Sophia, Trevor squinted his eyes and then looked towards the balcony and the chair he had knocked over during his rehab exercises.

Fortunately, Sophia didn't notice.

Sophia and George came to the phone, but instead of calling the hotel front desk immediately, she stared at George with a sinister smile and asked, "Julian, why don't you want to be with me anymore?"

George glared at Sophia, his eyes wide. "Did I ever want to be with you before?"
