Chapter 122 Ms. Galatea Misunderstood

Alex ignored Sophie. Instead, he adjusted Katherine's coat.
He said softly, "It's cold here. Let's go back to the hotel at the ranch."

Katherine quickly walked into the bathroom, slammed the door shut, and locked it!
She thought, 'Ugh! I couldn't outtalk him, but I could avoid him! What was up with Alex lately? He was always flirting with her.'
Seeing Katherine's embarrassed and flustered expression just now, he chuckled softly. He didn't know when it started, but he enjoyed teasing Katherine, finding her flustered expressions amusing.
At this moment, Teresa was still in the suite! She had witnessed the whole "flirtatious" scene, indulged in their affectionate exchange..

The smile in Alex's eyes disappeared instantly, and he returned to his usual stern expression. He gave Teresa a sharp look and said, "Stay here and take care of her. I'm going out for a bit."
Teresa stood at attention and saluted. "Got it! Don't worry, Alex, I'll take care of her!"
Then he turned and left.
When Katherine came out of the bathroom to dry her hair, she saw only Teresa. She instinctively looked around, searching for Alex.
Teresa leaned in and said, "Katherine, Alex went out. He must be dealing with that vicious woman Sophie to get revenge for you!"
Katherine paused, frowning slightly. Sophie was indeed despicable, cunning, and good at pretending. Today, she even dared to plot against her life.
However, Alex, Sophie, and Hilton had been friends for many years. He probably wouldn't fall out with his long-time friends over someone who would only be around for three months.

"Is it really okay for you to talk about Alex like that? He seems a nice uncle to you!" Katherine teased.
"Of course, Alex dotes on me because I'm his niece! But he's genuinely cold-blooded and ruthless to outsiders. His reputation isn't great; many people are terrified of him!" Teresa stated.
Katherine had heard about Alex's brutal and violent reputation before.
That was why she was so scared and tried to avoid him when she found out that the man she had randomly kissed on the street was Alex.
However, she had yet to really see Alex's brutal and cold side.
Was he truly that scary?

Who could it be?
Teresa turned off the hairdryer and ran to open the door.
