Chapter 20 Who is the bitch after all!
Hank's face turned pale as he glared at Ruth among the four bridesmaids. "That woman, it must be her who messed things up!" Teresa's happy smile slowly froze. She looked at her groom in astonishment and disbelief. "Hank, what is your relationship with that woman? What did you do in the storage room?"
Hank gently held Teresa's shoulders, his face full of tenderness. "Teresa, listen to me; things are not what you think! It was one of the bridesmaids who said she wasn't feeling well and asked me to help her to the storage room to rest. But once we were in there, she took off her clothes and tried to seduce me! I was shocked and quickly broke free and ran out. I didn't do anything to betray you!"
Teresa didn't solely believe Hank's words. She pushed him away and walked towards the four bridesmaids on the stage. "Which one of you is the woman in the video? Have the guts to step forward!" Ruth reached out from behind and gave a sleepy Katherine a push, making her stumble forward and stand in front of Teresa.
Teresa was taken aback and frowned. "You?" Down in the audience, Hilton was thoroughly enjoying the spectacle. "Alex, your Katherine is quite something! Not only did she seduce the groom, but she did it at her own niece's wedding!"
Alexander narrowed his eyes. Katherine always had a delayed reaction when she was sleepy, and it took her a while to come to her senses. She calmly shook her head and said, "Just by looking at the dress the woman in the video is wearing, it's clear who it is. My dress doesn't have ruffles."
Ruth glanced down and realized that among the four bridesmaids, only her dress had ruffles. She thought for a moment and immediately stepped forward, pointing at Katherine and accusing her, "It's her; she's the one who seduced the groom! She was originally wearing the ruffled dress that I had on. But after she went to the restroom and came back, she suggested we swap dresses. I didn't think much of it at the time, so I agreed. Little did I know she was trying to frame me because she was afraid of being caught seducing the groom!"
Teresa looked at Katherine, and Katherine looked back at her. "Katherine, you were indeed wearing the ruffled bridesmaid dress at first. Why did you want to change it?"
Ruth heard Teresa's question to Katherine and stepped forward again, fueling the fire. "Yes, Katherine! If you didn't seduce the groom, why did you want to swap dresses with me for no reason?"
Katherine looked at Ruth, who was trying to divert attention. "How do I remember it? You were the one insisting on swapping, not me."
Ruth snorted, "Do you have any evidence? Stop accusing me without proof!"
Katherine raised an eyebrow lazily, "Isn't the solid evidence already on the big screen?"
Ruth turned to look at the screen, where the blurry surveillance footage was still playing on a loop. The quality of the footage was not even high definition, and it didn't capture the woman's face clearly. What kind of solid evidence was that?
Ruth sneered, "The woman in the video is clearly you! By saying it's solid evidence, you're admitting it's you!"
Katherine ignored her and calmly looked towards the sound control area. "Could someone please turn the volume up to the maximum? We'll find out who the woman in the video really is."
The volume on the big screen was raised to the maximum, and the sound from the surveillance video gradually became clearer. The argument between the groom, Hank, and the bridesmaid, Ruth, could be heard, exposing their illicit relationship for everyone to hear. Anyone with a bit of intelligence could tell that they were involved romantically.
"It's you! You're the one who's guilty!" Teresa slapped Ruth hard across the face.

Katherine glanced at Hilton, wondering who he was.
As they walked out of the hall and turned the corner in the corridor, they ran into Hank, who was pleading with Teresa for forgiveness.
"Teresa, I promise I will never touch another woman again! Today is our wedding; let's finish it properly before we talk, okay?"
"Hank, it's over between us, and the wedding won't continue."
Seeing that no amount of pleading would move Teresa, Hank's expression turned cold, and he gritted his teeth.
Only by marrying into the Harris family could he secure his inheritance!
He forcefully pulled Teresa closer and whispered in her ear, "Teresa, listen to me. Behave, and let's finish the wedding. I promise I will treat you well. But if you don't cooperate, don't blame me for posting your intimate photos online for the whole world to see!"
