Chapter 384 Alex is Scarlett's Man!
Katherine glanced at the guy next to her, surprised. Was Alex really up for wedding photos now?
Teresa sat back down, and with something to look forward to, even the food tasted better!
"Katherine, I can't wait. You'll look amazing in a wedding dress!"
Katherine forced a smile and kept sipping her soup.
She thought, 'A guy who won't get a marriage license but is all in for wedding photos—what's up with that?'
Teresa's friend's studio was a high-end spot in Janetrick. Lots of celebs got their wedding photos, portraits, and magazine covers done there.
She didn't tell her friend who Alex was, worried it might freak her out because of his status.
But even so, her friend felt the pressure the moment she saw Alex.
Alex had this strong vibe, way beyond any top male celeb they'd worked with.
"Teresa, what does your uncle do? He's super handsome but seems kinda distant!"
"Oh, he's just a regular guy in business! Handsome guys always seem a bit aloof. Don't worry! Just make my uncle look even better and really show off my future aunt's beauty!"
"Don't worry! I'm a pro!"
Katherine and Alex sat on the sofa in the waiting area, watching Teresa chat with her flashy photographer friend for a while.
Katherine got bored and picked up a sample album from the table.
Alex handed her an open bottle of water. "Babe, have some water."
Katherine took a sip and handed it back to Alex.
He took it back, had a sip, and screwed the cap on.
Then Teresa pulled Katherine aside to pick a wedding dress and get her hair and makeup done.
Katherine wasn't really into the wedding photos, but her baby bump wasn't showing much yet, so it was a good time to take photos without it being noticeable.
If she waited until her belly was bigger, she'd have to wait until the baby was born!
So she went along with Teresa's plans.
Alex's part was easier; just different-colored suits.
After changing into the first suit, Alex went back to the waiting area, flipping through a magazine and sipping coffee, waiting for Katherine to get ready.
"Alex! Look!"
Teresa's proud voice called out.
He looked up, eyes widening.
Katherine, in a trailing wedding dress, was gently pushed out by Teresa. It was her first time in a wedding dress, and she looked a bit shy, her long lashes lowered.
His eyes lit up, unable to look away.
She was stunning, almost glowing!
Her hair and makeup were done.
Katherine was naturally beautiful, rarely wore makeup, and never lost to those heavily made-up women.
But dressing up like this added a touch of feminine charm to her usual cuteness.
"Alex! Alex? Earth to Alex?" Teresa waved her hand in front of his face.
He snapped out of it, frowned, and shot Teresa a cold look. "If you're done here, go home!"
Teresa pouted. "Alex! Are you just going to use me and then ditch me? Without me, you might never have seen Katherine in a wedding dress!"
Alex put down the magazine, stood up, and walked past Teresa. He gently brushed Katherine's cheek with his fingers.
"You look beautiful," he said.
Katherine looked up, feeling a bit shy in the dress. "Thank you."
"Let's go take the photos," Alex said, taking her hand and leading her into the studio.
Teresa crossed her arms, annoyed. Alex really was using her and then ditching her! But Katherine did look stunning in that dress.
Thinking it would be a shame if only Alex got to see her, Teresa pulled out her phone and followed them into the studio.
She recorded the whole photo shoot, then created a chat group, added everyone she could think of, and shared the video.
Hilton's avatar popped up first: [Wow! Alex secretly got married to Katherine again!]
Teresa replied: [Lmao! Hilton, isn't Katherine beautiful? Alex really hit the jackpot!]
Hilton sent a mischievous emoji: [When did they get back together?]
Teresa sent a glaring emoji: [Hilton! Watch your words! It's called making up, fixing things, getting back together! Get it?]
Hilton messaged: [Alright! When did Alex and Katherine make up, fix things, and get back together?]
Teresa: [I heard it was yesterday!]
Hilton: [They reconciled yesterday and are already taking wedding photos today! They're in a hurry!]
Teresa: [Hilton, 'in a hurry' isn't a good term! I brought them here! Do you think Alex, that steel-hearted guy, would have this kind of awareness?]
Hilton: [Lol! True!]
Issac's avatar popped up, sending just a thumbs-up emoji.
Then Sunny, who had just finished his homework, checked his phone and exploded!
Sunny sent a series of angry emojis, flooding the screen, then typed:
[How can Alex do this???]
[How can he take wedding photos with Katherine!!!]
[What about Scarlett???]
[Alex, you can't betray Scarlett!!!]
[Stop! Alex is Scarlett's man! Make them stop!!!]
Teresa felt annoyed seeing Sunny's messages. How did she accidentally add him to the group?
She sent an eye-rolling emoji: [Sunny, just leave the group! When was my uncle ever Scarlett's man? That's ridiculous!]
Sunny sent another angry emoji: [Teresa, are you stupid? If Alex isn't Scarlett's man, why did he go with Scarlett to adopt a child? That child calls Scarlett 'Mom' and Alex 'Dad'!]
Teresa felt unlucky and kicked Sunny out of the group chat.
Sunny saw the message saying he had been kicked out by Teresa, feeling angry and anxious. He didn't notice Scarlett walking up behind him.
"Sunny, what are you doing?"
