Chapter 799 No Reply
Ambrosia narrowed her eyes and glared at him sharply, "You won't listen to what Master says?"
Sunny reached out and cupped Ambrosia's face. "Master, if I listen, can I take off your glasses?"
Ambrosia knew very well what taking off her glasses meant. She had no choice but to take off her gold-rimmed glasses herself, "As long as you behave."
As soon as she finished speaking, Sunny kissed her.
At the dining table, Katherine was feeding the children while casually responding to Jonathan's conversation.
Now, only she and Jonathan were left in the private room with the three children, which easily made people think they were a family. So, Katherine was eagerly hoping for Ambrosia and Sunny to return soon.
Instead of Ambrosia and Sunny, Frank and Teresa arrived.
Frank and Teresa walked into the private room side by side. Seeing Jonathan there was a bit of a surprise, but they politely nodded as a greeting.
Frank led Teresa to sit next to Katherine and gently pinched Charles's cheek."Katherine, where's Ambrosia? Didn't she say she was having dinner with you?"
Katherine replied, "She went to the restroom just now."
Frank nodded in understanding, then took a new set of utensils from the table and handed them to Teresa, "You didn't eat much earlier. Why don't you have a bit more now?"
Teresa looked embarrassed, "I'm not hungry anymore."
Katherine took in the scene and raised an eyebrow, "Frank, I heard from Ambrosia that you went to your girlfriend's house for dinner earlier?"
Frank smiled openly, "Yes! And I brought my girlfriend to meet you, Katherine!"
Katherine looked at Teresa with a probing gaze, "When did you start dating?"
Teresa was both shy and embarrassed, "Katherine, we..."
She didn't even know if she and Frank were officially dating.
Frank smiled and took over the conversation, "Just today, she just agreed."
Katherine looked at Frank, then at Teresa.
In the past, she might have said more, worried that Frank would hurt Teresa again.
But now, she felt she didn't understand relationships well herself. She didn't feel qualified to judge others' relationships.
After a moment of silence, she sincerely said, "Well, then be good to each other!"
Teresa blushed and didn't know what to say.
Frank smiled and replied, "We will."
Soon, Ambrosia and Sunny returned.
Seeing Ambrosia's freshly applied lipstick, everyone knew what the two had been doing in the restroom.
With Frank and Teresa joining, the meal became more relaxed and lively, with everyone chatting casually.
Jonathan didn't get another chance to talk to Katherine until the end. Since he didn't drive, he needed a ride back.
Naturally, he wanted to ride with Katherine to have a good talk with her, but Katherine had no such intention and asked Frank to give him a ride.
So, he had to go with Frank. Before leaving, he walked over to Katherine with a smile and gently reminded her, "Katherine, drive slowly on your way home and let me know when you get there safely."
Katherine replied indifferently, "Don't worry, I'll be careful."
Jonathan knew this meant she wouldn't message him even when she got home. He could only smile bitterly and watch her and the children get into the car and leave.
As the car drove away, Frank put his arm around Jonathan's shoulder, "Let's go, Mr. Mostow, I'll give you a ride."
Jonathan snapped out of it and smiled, "Sorry to trouble you, taking time away from your date with Teresa!"
Frank glanced at Teresa, who was blushing in the front seat, and his smile deepened.
Katherine took the three children back to the Melville Manor, where Sandra was waiting in the living room.
"Katherine, why are you back so late today? The food is ready, just waiting for you! I'll have the kitchen reheat the dishes. You go wash the kids' hands and get ready to eat!" Sandra said.
Fiona was also home and came over to help with the children.
Katherine said, "Grandma, don't wait for me. I'll eat later! Fiona, please take George, Edith, and Charles to have dinner with the grandparents. I have something to do upstairs."
Fiona nodded, "Okay, Katherine!"
The three children were well-behaved. Even though they weren't hungry, they went with Fiona to accompany Jackie and Sandra for another meal.
Katherine hurried upstairs.
Watching Katherine's back, Sandra looked worried, "Katherine seems distracted lately."
Fiona also noticed Katherine's hurried steps and reassured Sandra, "It's probably because of work. Grandma, don't worry. Katherine is very capable; nothing is a problem for her!"
Sandra couldn't help but feel sorry, "Poor Katherine!"
Back in her room, Katherine immediately took off her restrictive clothes and lazily lay on the bed, checking her phone for messages.
Trevor still hadn't replied.
She didn't really have anything to do; she just felt restless and wanted to be alone upstairs for a while.
Not receiving any messages, she tossed her phone aside and got up to take a shower.
At the hotel, Trevor had dinner with George and Sophia and was ready to rest.
Sophia wanted to spend more time with Trevor, especially since he had stood up for her against the fake Julian today.
"Trevor, it's still early! It's only a little past eight. If you take Julian back to the room now, he won't be able to sleep. Stay and chat with me for a while!"
Trevor's face showed clear fatigue, "I'm really tired today and want to sleep early. Let's talk in the morning."
Since Trevor said that, Sophia couldn't insist, "Alright. By the way, Trevor, my dad will be coming here in a few days and will probably stay at this hotel. When he arrives, we can't sleep in separate rooms anymore. You know my dad's temper. If he finds out we're sleeping separately, he'll be mad at you!"
Trevor paused for a moment, then replied without turning back, "I understand. I'll cooperate when the time comes."
Sophia smiled, "Trevor, I'm glad you understand my dad! Alright, go to bed early if you're tired!"
Trevor didn't look back, took George back to the room, and closed the door.
His expression was serious. With Brent coming, he feared he wouldn't have time for his rehab training.
