Chapter 769 Valentin Dobbins

Katherine was forcibly pulled up and scratched her slightly messy hair from sleep.

Teresa gently shook her, "Katherine, get up! I'm waiting for you. Hurry up and freshen up!"

Katherine deeply regretted casually agreeing to see a psychologist with Teresa a few days ago. Feeling helpless, she got up and went to the bathroom.

After washing up and changing clothes, she went downstairs with Teresa.

Last night, Fiona slept with the three children. Now, she had already gotten the kids up, and they were waiting downstairs for breakfast.

These days, Fiona was very considerate of Katherine's hard work. Whenever she had time, she helped take care of the children and even offered to put them to bed at night, giving Katherine a much-needed break.

Katherine waved to the three children, "Charles, George, Edith, let's go. We're going out for breakfast today!"

Teresa grabbed Katherine's arm, "No way! Katherine, if you take the kids, you'll be too busy watching them to chat properly. Fiona said she would help you watch the three kids today! Right, Fiona?"

Fiona understood that Teresa was trying to get Katherine to see the psychologist and nodded cooperatively, "Yes! Katherine, you and Teresa go ahead. I'll take care of the kids; the kids will be fine with me!"

Katherine frowned, "If I don't take the kids, what's the point of me going alone?"

Saying this, she walked over and picked up the silent Julian, thinking it over.

Taking three kids to the psychologist's office would indeed be inconvenient.

"How about this, Fiona? You watch Charles and Edith for me. Don't take them out today. Even if you need to go out, wait until I get back, okay?"

Fiona and Teresa exchanged a glance and then nodded, "Alright, Katherine, don't worry! I'll take good care of Charles and Edith and won't take them out!"

Katherine trusted Fiona. She was much more reliable and steady than before, and she cared about the children's safety just as much as Katherine did, if not more.

After giving Fiona a few more instructions, Katherine held Julian and prepared to leave with Teresa.

Just as she turned around, she felt a small hand tugging at her clothes. She looked back.

It was Edith.

Edith looked up at her with big eyes, "Mommy, why are you only taking George out? Charles and I want to go out with you too!"

Katherine gently said to her, "Edith, be good. Mommy is not going out to play. I'm taking George to see a doctor. You and Charles stay home and listen to Fiona. I'll bring you back some toys, okay?"

Edith pouted, looking a bit upset at Julian in Mommy's arms, "Mommy, what's wrong with him? Why are you taking him to the doctor?"

Katherine gently rubbed her head, "Don't worry, he is fine. Mommy is just taking him for a check-up."

Edith thought for a moment and reluctantly let go, "Okay, but Mommy, come back soon!"

"Of course, I will!"

After comforting Edith, Katherine reminded Charles to behave, listen to Fiona, and play nicely with Edith.

Charles, always gentle and understanding, nodded obediently and waved goodbye to Katherine.

Leaving the Melville Manor, Katherine got into Teresa's car with Julian. Teresa handed over the breakfast she had bought earlier, "Katherine! You and George eat a little first. When we get to my friend's place, I'll ask him to get us something nice to eat!"

Katherine wasn't hungry, but she took the breakfast bag, pulled out a sandwich, and handed it to Julian nestled in her arms.

Julian shook his head with no appetite, looking at her uneasily, "Mommy, are you taking me to the hospital for a shot?"

Katherine was taken aback, then smiled, "No, Mommy is just taking you to chat with a doctor. No shots. Be good and eat your breakfast."

Only then did Julian dare to take the sandwich and start nibbling on it without much enthusiasm.

Teresa, sitting beside them, looked annoyed, "Katherine, I'm introducing a friend to you today. Why do you want him to chat with George too?"

Katherine replied, "Isn't your friend a psychologist? Can't he also help my son with some psychological counseling?"

Teresa took a bite of her sandwich and thought for a moment. "Well, he could, I suppose. We'll all be sitting together anyway!"

Katherine didn't dwell on Teresa's words. She looked down at Julian in her arms, her eyes showing a bit of complexity.

That day, she saw another child who looked just like George, even sleeping in the same position.

She had the impulse to take her child away immediately, but she was afraid of scaring the child, and it wasn't safe to carry him out through the window.

That child was the eldest of the triplets she had given birth to.

She wondered how that child had been doing all these years with Alex.

After a half-hour drive, the car stopped in front of a villa.

"Katherine, we're here!"

Teresa got out of the car excitedly and walked around to help Katherine open the door.

Katherine got out with Julian, looking around and finding the environment quite nice and quiet.

"Come on, Katherine, I'll take you in to meet my friend!" Teresa pointed to the villa door.

Katherine nodded and followed her inside.

A housekeeper greeted them at the door, asking them to wait in the living room for a while, saying the doctor was upstairs with a friend and would be down shortly.

Katherine sat in the villa's living room with Julian, her eyes glancing around at the decor.

After a while, footsteps were heard coming from upstairs.

Katherine looked up to see a very refined-looking man walking down the stairs.

Teresa stood up to greet him, joking, "Dr. Dobbins, look, I've brought another friend to see you!"

Valentin smiled warmly, "Ms. Harris, bringing me another important client, I'm truly grateful!"

"If you're so grateful, why did it take you so long to come down?"

"A friend stopped by to chat upstairs, and we ended up having a couple of drinks."

Teresa frowned in disdain, "What? Drinking so early in the morning? Are you sure you can still do a proper psychological consultation for us?"

Valentin looked clear-headed and calm, "A little drink to lift the spirits! Don't worry, a bit of alcohol won't affect my work. Besides, I was supposed to be off today, but I opened up just to accommodate you!"
