Chapter 812 You Have the Nerve to Blame Me

Then, Ambrosia heard a roar from Frank on the other end of the phone before it was abruptly hung up.

Ambrosia thought to herself, 'What is Frank up to now?'

Putting away her phone, Ambrosia returned to the living room. "Katherine, I called him. He said he'll be back soon. Just wait a bit."

Katherine frowned, showing a hint of irritation.

"Katherine, have you had breakfast? Should I toast you some bread?" Ambrosia asked.

Katherine glanced at Ambrosia. She wasn't hungry, but knowing that Ambrosia and Sunny had just woken up and hadn't eaten breakfast yet, she nodded.

Ambrosia sighed in relief and headed to the kitchen.

As soon as she entered the kitchen, Sunny came over. "Master, why is Katherine so scary today? Just because Frank didn't tell her about the wedding in advance?"

Ambrosia knocked Sunny on the head. "Don't talk about Katherine behind her back! Go turn on the toaster and toast some bread!"

Sunny rubbed his forehead and shrugged. "Bossing me around is one thing, but why hit me?"

Meanwhile, after Frank jumped off the bungee platform, he thoroughly enjoyed the thrill of hanging upside down in mid-air, bouncing up and down.

It wasn't until the staff pulled him up and untied the rope.

The staff member exclaimed, "Sir, I guide hundreds of people bungee jumping here every day, and you're the calmest one! How come you're not scared at all? Have you done this before?"

Frank smiled, "No, it's my first time. It's pretty fun."

The staff couldn't help but give him a thumbs up. "Sir, I must say, you're amazing!"

Frank smiled and then turned to find Teresa, who had come with him.

Teresa was waiting behind the platform, glaring at him. When she saw him coming down, she quickly walked up to him and asked, "Are you okay?"

Frank looked at Teresa, whose face had turned pale with fear, and smiled, "I'm fine. It was quite thrilling."

Teresa gazed at him, "Were you really not scared at all?"

Frank laughed, "What's there to be scared of with a rope tied to me? Wasn't it you who wanted me to bungee jump to prove my love for you? Well, I've done it. I truly love you!"

Teresa blinked awkwardly, "I regret it now! I shouldn't have made you bungee jump; I should have made you skydive! There's no rope in skydiving. Let's see if you'd be scared then!"

It was clear that Teresa wasn't serious. Frank shrugged and smiled, gently tapping her cheek. "Really? Look at you. You didn't even jump; you just watched me, and your face turned pale with fear! And you still dare to ask me to skydive?"

Teresa was genuinely shaken. From the moment Frank stepped onto the platform, she had been worried and regretted forcing him to prove his love in such a way. What if the rope had snapped?

She would have blamed herself for the rest of her life!

No, she wouldn't have been able to live with herself. She would have jumped after him.

Luckily, nothing happened!

Frank knew she was worried about him and pulled her into his arms. "I'm fine. If you want me to skydive, I can do that too, but not today. Today, we need to go back and explain our marriage to Katherine properly!"

Teresa was taken aback and looked up at him. "What's wrong with Katherine? Is she still against us being together?"

Frank squinted his eyes. "I don't think she's against it. She's just mad at me."

Teresa thought for a moment and didn't ask further, following Frank down the mountain.

The bungee jumping spot was too far from the city, so he didn't dawdle at all and came straight back. By the time they arrived, it was almost noon.

As soon as they entered, they saw Ambrosia and Sunny sitting at the kitchen bar, drinking coffee and chatting. Katherine was nowhere to be seen.

Frank, holding Teresa's hand, walked in and asked, "Where's Katherine?"

Ambrosia, holding a coffee cup, nodded towards the sofa.

Frank and Teresa turned their heads to see Katherine lying on the sofa with her eyes closed, seemingly asleep.

Sunny complained, "Where have you two been? You're so slow! Katherine waited for you until she fell asleep!"

Teresa felt a bit embarrassed. "We went to a scenic spot. It was a bit far, so we were late."

Frank didn't answer Sunny. He walked over quietly, picked up a blanket from the sofa, and gently covered Katherine with it.

His movements were light and respectful, without any hint of intimacy.

Despite this, Katherine was still awakened, opening her eyes abruptly!

As their eyes met, Frank carefully smiled at her. "Katherine, don't catch a cold," he said gently.

Katherine glared at him, rolled her eyes, and then pushed him away to sit up.

Frank didn't dare sit down. He took a few steps back and stood with Teresa, ready to be scolded.

Katherine lazily lifted her eyelids to look at the two of them. "So, how far have you two gotten?"

Teresa didn't know why she felt guilty. Facing Katherine at this moment felt like facing the strict Alex from the past, very stressful.

"Katherine, I..."

Katherine squinted at the blushing and stammering Teresa, patting the spot next to her. "Teresa, come sit here. I'm not asking you."

Teresa was stunned for a moment, then quickly sat next to Katherine, feeling relieved.

She thought Katherine was mad at her too. It scared her to death!

Frank looked at Teresa, who had abandoned him, sighed helplessly, and said, "Katherine, didn't you see the invitation? We're getting married. The date is set."

Katherine glared at him. "Have you registered the marriage?"

Frank smiled, "Yes, we have."

Katherine crossed her arms. "Who did you discuss this with?"

Frank lowered his head in shame. "Katherine, I was wrong! I was just afraid Teresa would change her mind, so I wanted to get married quickly to prevent her from running off with someone else! Please understand!"

Hearing Frank say this, Teresa's face turned even redder, embarrassed by his shamelessness in front of Katherine.

Katherine said, "I think you were just afraid of me, worried I'd sabotage it, right?"

Frank laughed, "So you do know! You never stood up for me before and always badmouthed me to Teresa. I finally got her to agree to marry me, and I was really afraid of losing her again!"

Katherine looked at him disdainfully. "Wasn't I telling the truth? You weren't serious about relationships before, just playing around with everyone. And now you blame me for telling Teresa the truth?"
