Trevor caught a glimpse of Brent's expression and deliberately changed the subject, "What, you didn't see that lifesaver?"
Sophia also pulled out a chair and sat down, glancing at Linda who was eating, and complained, "See what? There was no one in that private room upstairs. They had already finished eating and left! I bet Linda was just bored and trying to stir things up."

Before Brent could respond, Nora, who had just returned, overheard everything and was very angry, "Linda, stand up!"

Bernard's expression was indifferent, "I may not care about Alex, but I do care about Katherine's happiness. Now that Alex is back, I can't let him disappear again. We need to wait for Katherine to come out and understand the situation first. If you insist on barging in and making a mess of things, then go ahead!"
Hearing Bernard's words, Fiona finally calmed down, wiped her tears, and controlled her impulses, though she couldn't control her emotions.
Ambrosia noticed something different from Bernard's reaction, "Mr. Mitchell, it seems you already knew Alex had reappeared?"
Bernard didn't deny it.
Ambrosia frowned, "So Katherine knew too?"
Bernard nodded, "Yes, they have already met."
Everyone was surprised.
Teresa asked in confusion, "If Katherine and Alex have already met, why didn't Alex go home with Katherine? Does Alex really like Sophia now?"
