Scarlett explained, "It was because I deliberately imitated Laura's traits and habits and because I looked a bit like her that he treated me like a sister! Bernard has only ever seen me as Laura's substitute all these years! Everything he did for me was to make up for his regrets and guilt towards Laura! So, I never felt grateful to him; I just thought he was very hypocritical!"
Katherine was stunned for a moment, then asked, "What about Sunny? As far as I know, he genuinely cares for you as his real sister!"
Scarlett scoffed, "Sunny, that brainless fool, is also an ingrate! He only tried to please me so that whenever he failed his exams, I would speak well of him in front of Bernard and get him a lighter punishment!
"Later, didn't that kid start speaking up for you before anything even happened? He told me how good you were in this and that! Does he not know that I am his real sister? Instead of siding with me, he sides with you, an outsider! That buffoon!"
Katherine continued, "What about Alex? How did he use you? You deceived him before, yet he always treated you as his lifesaver!"
Talking about the man she liked the most, Scarlett's expression became somewhat dreamy, "Ahh... Alex! Before you bitch, showed up, Alex was indeed very good to me. However, even though I liked him, I knew his kindness towards me wasn't pure.

Katherine fell silent for a moment before proceeding with the next question. "What about Sophie? She always treated you sincerely, right?"
Scarlett's eyes showed as much disdain as they did for Fiona, "Sophie? I never considered that fool a true friend! Her intentions were the most obvious; she had her eyes on Bernard and wanted to get close to him through me to marry into the Mitchell family!"
Katherine asked, "So, did you ever think about helping Sophie get with Bernard, making her your sister-in-law?"
Scarlett sneered disdainfully, "Of course not! Who is Bernard? The president of the Mitchell Group who is a top figure on the rich list. What is Sophie? A member of the Jones family who is not worthy of Bernard's status. Letting a woman like her marry into the family would not only lower Bernard's status but also degrade the Mitchell family's class! However, this time, she helped me get rid of you, that bitch, perhaps I should thank her properly!"
Katherine gazed intently at her, mocking, "Thank her by letting her take all the blame and go to jail for you?"
Scarlett calmly said, "I will visit her often and put more money into her prison account so she can eat better!"
Katherine clicked her tongue then scoffed, "Miss Mitchell, do you think that makes you generous?"
Scarlett glared at Katherine and retorted unhappily, "You bitch, stop lecturing me! Katherine, before you showed up, everyone's world revolved around me. They loved me, trusted me, and were willing to do anything for me, never doubting my words!
"Yet, because of you, no one cares about me anymore. You deserve to die! I don't simply hate you just because you took Alex from me but also due to the fact that I almost lost everything that was originally mine, forcing me to start over and rebuild everything from scratch!"
Katherine looked at her coldly, her eyes deep and unreadable as she spoke, "Have you ever thought that it's because you are too dishonest and insincere? Otherwise, no one could make you lose the love and trust of those around you."
Scarlett didn't take the words of the dead Katherine seriously, "Oh, please, Katherine. Instead of lecturing me, why don't you hurry to hell and suffer? Maybe you can even come back to seek revenge on me..."
As she spoke, Scarlett laughed recklessly again...
After receiving her insults, Katherine remained calm and unbothered. She clapped her hands and said, "Everyone, get up and take a good look at the true colors of your so-called pure, kind, and obedient Miss Mitchell!"

The other corpses in the morgue suddenly sat up as if they had come back to life, and the white sheets covering them fell off...
Scarlett was so scared that she fell to the ground, her face turning pale. What was going on? Could Katherine really use magic to turn those dead people into ghosts to harm her?
As she trembled in fear, one of the corpses got off the morgue bed, walked quickly toward her, and slapped her hard across the face...
"Scarlett, you cold-hearted, venomous woman! You are such a good actress! I treated you as my best friend for so many years, willing to bend over backwards for you, but you always saw me that way and used me. You don't deserve my trust and friendship all these years!"
Scarlett, clutching her swollen face, looked in horror at the corpse that had slapped her. It was Sophie!
Sophie?!
Why was she here pretending to be a corpse? Wasn't she taken away by Alex to be dealt with?
Before Scarlett could react, Fiona also got off the bed where she had been pretending to be a corpse, furious, and gave Scarlett a hard slap on the other side of her face!
