Chapter 902 Who Do You Think You Are

Lillian was petrified. It wasn't until she heard Nora telling her to call an ambulance that she snapped out of it. She thought for a moment; it might be Joshua downstairs, and if he found out she had stabbed someone, he would definitely leave her!

Thinking of this, Lillian decided to go all out. She brandished the knife at Nora and Linda, threatening, "Get back! None of you are leaving today!"

Nora exclaimed, "Are you crazy? Do you know that excessive bleeding can kill someone?"

Lillian's face was full of panic. Of course, she knew that excessive bleeding could be fatal, but wasn't the woman still alive for now? Once Sherry got Joshua out of the way, she would take the woman to her father's clinic to stop the bleeding!

Just as Lillian was hoping Sherry would quickly get Joshua out of the house, a sudden scream from Sherry came from downstairs!

Because the attic door was slightly open, they could hear some of the sounds from downstairs.

Hearing Sherry's scream, Lillian's already panicked emotions became even more confused and uneasy. She considered for a moment, then, while still threatening Nora and Linda with the knife, she slowly backed away, closed the attic door, locked it again, and hurried downstairs to check on Sherry.

In the attic, only the injured Claire, Nora, and Linda were left.

Linda's tears kept falling. "Mom, what do we do? Ms. Ayers won't die, will she?"

Claire didn't want to scare the child. She lifted her head, enduring the pain, and forced a smile. "Linda, don't be afraid. I'm fine, I'll be okay."

Linda sobbed, "But... but you're bleeding so much!"

At this moment, Nora had to stay calm. Supporting Claire, she looked around and then said to Linda, "Linda, stop crying! Go, quickly get the bed sheet. I'll tear it into strips to stop Claire's bleeding."

Hearing Nora's words, Linda quickly wiped her tears with her arm and did as she was told.

Meanwhile, downstairs.

As soon as Sherry opened the door, she was startled by a row of strong men in black suits and sunglasses!

Their tall shadows loomed over her, full of oppression. She instinctively took two steps back and asked nervously, "Who... who are you? Why are you ringing our doorbell?"

The leading man in the black suit had a buzz cut and was also wearing sunglasses. He was the only one with a tie!

He took a bold step forward, crossing the threshold of the Galatea Villa with the air of an invader. He looked around the living room on the first floor, not seeing anyone, and then stared at Sherry, asking, "Where are Mrs. Coleman and Ms. Coleman?"

Sherry was utterly confused. "Who are Mrs. Coleman and Ms. Coleman? I don't know you, and I don't know the people you're looking for. You've got the wrong place!"

Saying this, Sherry tried to close the door, shutting the aggressive men outside.

The leading man in black, not having found the people he was looking for, wasn't about to leave. He forcefully pushed the door, knocking both the door and Sherry to the ground!

Sherry fell and was hit by her own door, letting out a sharp scream of pain!

The man in black looked down at Sherry without a trace of pity, asking in a cold, harsh voice, "I saw Mrs. Coleman and Ms. Coleman enter your house and not come out! You'd better hand them over right now, or we won't be so polite!"

His words were a threat, his tone calm but dangerously final.

'Mrs. Coleman and Ms. Coleman entered the house and didn't come out?' Sherry began to realize that the people they were talking about might be the mother and daughter she had just locked upstairs and taken to the bathroom.

Could she have accidentally offended some big shot's family again? What should she do?

While Sherry was in a state of panic, Lillian hurried downstairs with a knife, seeing the situation at the door. She was first shocked, then saw her daughter lying on the ground in distress and rushed over to help her up!

"Sherry, are you okay?"

Sherry shook her head nervously, unable to speak.

Seeing this, Lillian became even more furious. She glared at the men in black at the door and demanded, "Who are you? Why did you break into our house and hurt my daughter in broad daylight?"

The leading man in black repeated, "We are here to find Mrs. Coleman and Ms. Coleman. I saw them enter your house and not come out. Now, hand them over immediately!"

Lillian looked surprised. "Who are Mrs. Coleman and Ms. Coleman? We've never seen them!"

The man in black, with a grim face, gestured, "A very beautiful and elegant middle-aged woman, accompanied by a little girl about this tall with two pigtails. They entered your house about an hour ago, and now we're here to pick them up."

Seeing the man in black gesture the child's height, Lillian's face turned pale. She thought of the mother and daughter upstairs. Could it be...

She exchanged a worried look with Sherry, realizing her daughter was thinking the same thing, both filled with anxiety and fear!

These people were clearly not to be messed with. It seemed they had offended someone they couldn't afford to offend again! What should they do?

Lillian thought about how she had just stabbed a woman upstairs, causing her to bleed a lot. If they pursued this, it would be troublesome.

So, she decided to deny everything. "Yes! Those two people did come to our house, but they left after a while. They're not here anymore! You should look elsewhere!"

The leading man in black said, "I told you, I didn't see Mrs. Coleman and Ms. Coleman leave your house!"

Lillian said, "Just because you didn't see them doesn't mean they're still here! They came to our house looking for someone, and I told them they had the wrong place. Mrs. Coleman and Ms. Coleman left through the back door, saying it was closer to their next destination!"

The leading man in black, with a calm and determined expression, said, "We have colleagues watching your back door as well, and they didn't see Mrs. Coleman and Ms. Coleman leave either. Hand them over immediately, or don't blame us for searching the place!"

Sherry nervously grabbed Lillian's arm and whispered, "Mom, what do we do?"

Lillian took a deep breath. At this point, she could only grit her teeth and stick to her story. She shouted, "How dare you! Who do you think you are, barging into my house to search? I'll call the police and have you arrested!"
