Chapter 41 Call My Name
Alexander laughed even more happily as he watched Katherine's shy and thoroughly embarrassed expression. "Baby, if you want to play the role of a good wife, you should first learn to call your husband's name. Do you think calling me 'sir' is appropriate?"
"Do you want me to call you by your name?" Katherine pondered Alexander's suggestion for a moment, then said disdainfully, "Well, forget it. I'm afraid I'll be even more embarrassed."
There were very few people in this world who could address him directly by his name.
But Katherine was unwilling to do so.
Alexander's face darkened, and the pressure of his hand on her abdomen involuntarily increased slightly.
Katherine suddenly felt uncomfortable and frowned, saying, "Ah, it hurts! Please be gentler!"
Due to menstrual cramps, Katherine's voice was weak and feeble. In this room with only the two of them, her voice sounded incredibly alluring when she asked Alexander to be more gentle.
Both of them froze, awkwardly looking at each other.
After a two-second silence, Alexander smiled and said, "How gentle do you want me to be, hmm?"
Alexander really did lighten the pressure of his hand, gently rubbing her lower belly as if scratching an itch.
Katherine felt ticklish, and she was certain that Alexander was deliberately teasing her. Her face darkened, and she angrily said, "Well, you better remove your hand. Stay away from me!"
Did he want to remove his hand from her?
Alexander raised an eyebrow and leaned closer to Katherine. "Baby, what are you so nervous about? Why is your face turning red?"
Katherine placed her hand on Alexander's chest, defensively pushing him away. "I'm not nervous; I just feel hot."
She felt really hot.
Her words added a palpable sense of tension to the already ambiguous atmosphere.
She was already feeling uncomfortable, but Alexander's teasing made her blush even more. She uncomfortably pursed her lips and lowered her head, and her captivating eyes seemed to indicate that she was on the verge of tears.
The usually decisive and brave Katherine now appeared timid and pitiful. Alexander squinted his eyes, suddenly feeling a dryness in his throat, so he swallowed.
He thought, 'Forget it; I don't want to tease her anymore!'
Alexander lowered his head, withdrew his hand, and handed her the glass of milk that was sitting on the bedside table. "Drink it."
Katherine took the glass of milk. "Thank you."
Alexander got up and went to the bathroom.
Katherine breathed a sigh of relief; she felt that Alexander was acting a bit strange today.
At the entrance of the Melville Manor, Fiona sat in a pink sports car. The more she thought about it, the angrier she became, and she forcefully slammed the steering wheel.
Today, due to a failed plan, Fiona was severely reprimanded by Sandra. She was in a bad mood, so she went out for a drive alone.
Now Fiona didn't dare to go home because she saw Alexander's car in the yard. She was afraid that Alexander would scold her when she got home.
She thought, 'That damn Katherine is the cause of all my misfortunes!'
Since Katherine entered the Melville family, Fiona felt that nothing good had happened, and even Sandra, who had always doted on her, was now getting tired of her. Sandra always asked Fiona to learn more from Katherine.

After getting out of the car, Fiona observed for a moment, then walked over and asked, "Who are you? What are you doing at our house gate?"
Gavin was startled and awkwardly explained, "Um. This is Mr. Melville's home, right? I came to look for Mr. Melville's wife."
Was he looking for Katherine?
Now Fiona was annoyed at the mention of Katherine, so she looked at Gavin with disdain. "What do you want with her?"
Gavin also looked at Fiona. Seeing her dressed in limited edition designer clothes, looking beautiful, and exuding an air of arrogance, Gavin could tell that she was a wealthy and privileged woman.
So, he guessed and said, "Madam, did you just say this is your home? Are you Mr. Melville's wife?"
Fiona frowned, realizing that he seemed to have no idea who Alexander's wife was or what she looked like, so she didn't bother explaining. She questioned, "So what if I am? What do you want with Mrs. Melville?"
Gavin thought he had found the right person, so he immediately put on a flattering smile. "Mrs. Melville, I believe you would be interested in learning some things about Mr. Melville. Do you have time to talk with me?"
Things about Mr. Melville? Fiona was puzzled and curious. After a moment of thought, she nodded and said, "You can follow my car. We need to find a different place to talk."
Gavin got into his car and followed Fiona's pink sports car to a dessert shop.
Inside the dessert shop, Gavin placed several photos on the table and pushed them towards Fiona.
The photos were nothing more than pictures of Alexander and Katherine together, so Fiona wasn't interested. "What do you mean by showing me these?"
Gavin found Fiona's calm reaction a bit strange. "Mrs. Melville, her name is Katherine. She is Mr. Melville's mistress."
Fiona was stunned. "She's Alexander's mistress?"
So that's how Gavin misunderstood!
Gavin continued, "This woman is using her youth and beauty to seduce Mr. Melville, so she will definitely affect the relationship between you and Mr. Melville in the future. Mrs. Melville, I can help you get rid of this despicable woman, but I hope you can do me a favor after it's done."
Fiona was already thinking of ways to retaliate against Katherine, so she was intrigued. "What do you need me to do?"
Gavin smiled, "Just a small matter, Mrs. Melville. It's just a piece of cake for you."
After hearing Gavin's intentions, Fiona felt that it wasn't a big problem. "Alright. As long as you can get rid of this despicable woman named Katherine and make my husband completely disgusted with her, I will make sure that my husband invests in the new project of the Apricot Group that you mentioned!"
After agreeing on the terms, Gavin said excitedly, "Mrs. Melville, you are truly decisive. Just wait for my good news. I guarantee that within a week, I will make Mr. Melville completely disgusted with Katherine!"
After Gavin left, Fiona sat in the dessert shop for a while, her face filled with anticipation as she sipped her drink.
She thought, 'Katherine, let's see if you can escape this time!'
The next morning, Alexander stayed at home for breakfast, which was a rare occurrence.
At the dining table, Katherine received special attention. Sandra was afraid that Katherine's body hadn't fully recovered, and her hands were weak, so Sandra suggested that Alexander feed her.
Katherine politely declined, but Sandra insisted.
She thought that someone as proud as Alexander would never stoop down to do such a thing for her.
Unexpectedly, Alexander just smiled inexplicably. Then, he cut the omelet on the plate into perfectly sized pieces and fed them to her mouth.
It was repulsive!
In front of Sandra, Katherine had no choice but to eat, so she reluctantly finished it, all while maintaining a smile.
It wasn't until Katherine's phone rang like a lifesaver that she had a reason to leave, so she quickly took her phone and went back to the bedroom to answer the call.
It was a call from Roger Moore, the president of Janetrick University.
