Chapter 954 Need to Rest
Alex's voice suddenly became muffled, and Katherine couldn't help but soften her heart, "Alright, I was just joking!"
Alex held her tightly, unwilling to let go, "Katherine, I promise you, those things will never happen again, and we will never be apart."
Katherine nodded, "I believe you."
The nurse brought Charles's examination report; he had no issues and could be discharged.
After returning home, just make sure Charles's wound didn't get wet and changed the dressing on time.
Katherine took Alex and Charles to Claire's ward to inform her, and then they were discharged first.
At home, Jackie and Sandra were still worried and waiting for them to return. Katherine decided to go home first to settle things and then come back to see Claire.
The atmosphere at Melville Manor was somewhat heavy.
Several bodyguards in the living room were specifically watching George, Edith, and Julian, afraid that something might go wrong again.

George, Edith, and Julian couldn't sit still after hearing Fiona's words and ran out with her to welcome Alex and Katherine.

The car stopped in the courtyard of Melville Manor. Alex got out of the car holding Charles, and Katherine followed closely behind.
Fiona ran over first, "Alex, Katherine, it's great that you're back! Is Charles alright?"
Before they could answer, George, Edith, and Julian rushed over, hugging Katherine's legs and chattering away.
"Mommy, Mommy, you're back!"
"Mommy, how is Charles?"
"Mommy, what happened to the bad guys? Did the police teach them a good lesson?"
The children's questions were too many, and Katherine didn't know who to answer first. She squatted down and hugged the three children together, answering, "It's alright, everything is alright! Charles is fine, and the bad guys have been caught. This won't happen again!"
Hearing Katherine say this, George, Edith, and Julian cheered!
Edith: "Yay! That's great! Mommy, can we not have these bodyguards following us anymore?"

Katherine looked up at the bodyguards following the kids and roughly understood that it was arranged by Sandra and Jackie.

Alex, holding Charles, looked down at George, Edith, and Julian circling him. "You three can still see me? I thought you only had eyes for Mommy!" he teased.
When George, Edith, and Julian ran over, they went straight past him to hug Katherine, treating him like he was invisible!
How could he, as a father, bear this? If Katherine hadn't reminded them to seek his approval, they probably wouldn't have noticed him!
Edith covered her mouth and laughed, "Didn't expect Dad to be jealous of Mommy! So cute!"
George: "Dad, you can't be so petty! Mommy is so nice, of course, we have to greet her first!"
Julian nodded.
Charles, feeling sorry for them, spoke to Alex, "Dad, please agree with them! Don't let so many bodyguards watch them. I also feel very restricted! And, Dad, can you put me down? I want to go to Mommy."
Alex fell silent.
Not only the three children, but even Charles in his arms was on Katherine's side!
Alex bent down to put Charles down, letting him join the other three children.
