Lillian realized the seriousness of the situation after hearing Sherry, "I'm heading back right now! Before I get back, make sure your dad doesn't see those two women, got it?"
Sherry nodded, "Mom! Don't worry, I know what to do!"
After hanging up with Lillian, Sherry called Joshua.
Joshua was out fishing, and just as he finally got a bite, the phone rang and scared the fish away!
He answered the phone irritably and started scolding, "Why are you calling me out of the blue? You scared the fish away!"

"Dad, I just wanted to check on you and ask when you'll be back?"
Joshua replied irritably, "I was planning to fish a bit longer, but now I'm not in the mood because of your call! I'm heading back now, tell your mom I'm hungry and to make me some soup!"
Hearing that Joshua was coming back immediately, Sherry panicked, "Dad, the weather is so nice today. Why don't you fish a bit longer? Mom is out and hasn't come back yet; she can't make you soup!"
She couldn't let Joshua come back now, or he would run into those two women at the door!
Joshua complained, "What's Lillian doing out again? If your mom isn't back, can't you learn to cook? You don't work and just stay at home sponging off your parents, and you don't even learn to cook. Why do I even have a daughter like you!"
Sherry felt a bit wronged by Joshua's scolding, "Dad, you know I can't cook. The kitchen smells are really bad for my skin and would affect my acting career."
