Chapter 823 I Finally Found You!
The waiter looked surprised, "Isn't this the right room? But this little girl said she belongs to this room. Miss, are you really from this room?"
Linda looked up at Sunny with a pitiful expression, not saying a word.
Sunny looked at the little girl, feeling sorry for her, "Maybe she made a mistake?"
Linda shook her head.
The waiter was in a dilemma, "Sir, why don't you ask your companions if anyone knows this little girl?"
Sunny said, "Impossible! I would recognize our own children. This little girl is definitely not from our room!"
The waiter said, "Alright then! Sorry to bother you. Miss, you must have been mistaken. Let me take you to the next room to continue looking."
As he spoke, the waiter was about to take Linda away.
But Linda insisted on staying put, refusing to leave. The waiter said helplessly, "Miss, you made a mistake. Your mom is not in this room, and they don't know you."
At this moment, Sunny also brought Julian back into the room and was about to close the door when Linda suddenly reached in with both hands, holding the door to prevent it from closing.
Sunny quickly stopped, afraid the door would pinch the little girl's hands, "What's going on? Don't you want your hands?"
The waiter quickly bent down to check Linda's hands, making sure she wasn't hurt, and then started to apologize to Sunny, "Sorry for scaring you! I'll take her away right now!"
Linda was so determined because she wanted to see what Julian's mother looked like.
"Miss, come with me. Your mom is really not here!" The waiter pulled Linda forward, trying to drag her away, but Linda clung to the door, refusing to leave.
Sunny looked at the strange little girl, feeling confused.
At this moment, a clear voice came over, "What's going on? Who's at the door?"
Katherine noticed that Julian and Sunny had been standing at the door for a while and hadn't come back to eat, so she got up to check.
Katherine looked Linda up and down and asked Sunny, "Whose child is this? Do you know her?"
Sunny quickly shook his head, "I don't know her, but this little girl insists she belongs in our room and won't leave!"
Katherine frowned slightly, looked at Linda, and asked, "Who are you? Do you know us?"
Linda stared at Katherine with her beautiful big eyes, nodding vigorously with excitement, "I know you!"
Katherine raised an eyebrow, "You know me?"
Sunny crossed his arms, "Katherine, so she knows you!"
Linda let go of the waiter's hand and grabbed Katherine's hand, "I know you! I finally found you!"
Katherine squinted at Linda, not remembering knowing this little girl.
The waiter was completely confused, "Sorry, is this little girl from your room or not?"
Katherine replied to the waiter, "She didn't come with us, but she says she knows me. I'll talk to her and see if she's from a family we know. You can continue asking other rooms to see if anyone lost a child, and come back to get her if you find them."
The waiter thought it was a good idea, nodded, left Linda, and went to the next room to continue asking.
Katherine looked down at Linda, who she had no impression of, "Come in with us first."
Linda was eager to follow Katherine into the room.
Julian's face didn't look good, frowning and pouting.
Sunny noticed Julian's odd expression and flicked his forehead, "What are you thinking about?"
Julian snapped out of it, glanced outside with a complicated look, seemingly guessing that his dad might also be in this restaurant, but he didn't know how to tell Sunny, so he shook his head again.
Sunny found Julian a bit strange but didn't think much of it, leading him back into the room and closing the door.
Everyone was curious when they saw Katherine bringing in a little girl.
Frank asked, "Katherine, whose child is this?"
Katherine shook her head, "I don't know yet. She says she knows me."
Everyone stared at Linda, whom they had never seen before.
Linda didn't care about the others' gazes, her big eyes fixed on Katherine's face the whole time.
Katherine felt a bit uncomfortable being stared at, "You said you know me. Can you tell me how you know me?"
Up until now, Katherine still thought Linda might have mistaken her for someone else.
Linda looked seriously at Katherine, "I know you. My family has been looking for you all these years! Miss, don't you remember me?"
Katherine examined Linda's face carefully again but still had no impression. She shook her head, "Sorry, I don't remember. You said your family has been looking for me? Why?"
Linda said, "To thank you!"
Katherine was even more puzzled, "Thank me? For what?"
Linda said anxiously, "Because you saved my mom's life a few years ago. My parents have been looking for you, their savior, but there was no news. Today, I finally found you! This is great!"
As Linda spoke, she tightly held Katherine's hand, clearly very excited.
Katherine still couldn't remember saving this little girl's mother, "Are you sure you didn't mistake me for someone else?"
