Jessie, the makeup artist, smiled mischievously and proceeded to do Katherine's makeup.
To please Sherry, Jessie gave Katherine two twisted braids and added many freckles and sunburn makeup on her face.

The hostess smiled, guiding Sherry inside, but stopped Katherine, who was following behind, "Ma'am, you can't enter!"
Katherine was halted, raising an eyebrow, explaining, "I came with Ms. Galatea in front."
The hostess looked at Katherine's attire with suspicion, clearly not believing her words, "I'm sorry, this is not a place where someone like you can sneak in. Please leave immediately, or I'll call security!"
Having enjoyed watching Katherine being snubbed and blocked by the hostess, Sherry proudly lifted her chin, saying as if bestowing a favor, "It's fine, let her in! She's my assistant and needs to come in to take care of me."
The hostess was taken aback, looking back at Sherry and then casting a doubtful glance at Katherine.
The Ms. Galatea in front was dressed so elegantly. Why did she bring an assistant dressed like that?
"I see!" The hostess smiled apologetically at Sherry, but her attitude towards Katherine, the assistant, was still not very friendly, "Since you came with Ms. Galatea, so yeah, come in!"
Katherine glanced at the hostess, calmly following Sherry inside.
The banquet hall was grand and luxurious. Renowned musicians played elegant piano music live, and every decoration exuded an opulent aristocratic atmosphere.

Katherine smiled and remained silent.
She just remembered how Alexander had forcibly brought her here to arrange a marriage, robbing her of three months of freedom. Katherine felt a bit sentimental.
At that moment, Sherry seemed to spot an acquaintance among the guests, her eyes narrowing as she hurriedly instructed, "Katherine, find a place to stay put for now. I need to go inside and talk to a friend! Remember, don't touch anything here. You can't afford to pay for any damages!"

Sherry then took a glass of red wine, gracefully walking inside to greet a sophisticated middle-aged man.
The man seemed delighted to see Sherry, and they engaged in a lively conversation.
Meanwhile, Katherine helped herself to a glass of juice at the buffet table, observing Sherry's every move with narrowed eyes.

"No wonder she's dressed so ugly!"
"Are you leaving on your own, or do we need to kick you out?"
Katherine remained calm, continuing to enjoy her cake, "I'm not leaving."
"You're not leaving? Your words don't count!"
"Security! Someone has sneaked in here!"
"Where's the security? Hurry!"
"What's going on? Why are you making a fuss?" A deep male voice suddenly sounded from behind them.
