Chapter 14 Madam Melville Arrives
Sherry said, "My sister is..."
Fiona suddenly smelled a strong perfume on Sherry and felt nauseous again.
The maid pushed Sherry, who was in the middle, aside. "Go away! Ms. Melville is not available to talk to you right now!"
"Ms. Melville, are you okay?"
The maids carefully supported Fiona, who was vomiting until she fainted, and took her inside.
Sherry didn't get any information and was pushed away. She was angry!
But she didn't dare to provoke the person who lived here.
The driver of the Melville family rolled down the car window and kindly advised, "You should leave quickly. This is not a place where you can inquire."
Sherry turned her head and asked, "Are you the driver of this family? Tell me, who exactly lives here?"
The driver was very cautious. "I can't tell you who lives here, but I heard that they recently hired a group of maids, and your sister might be among them!"
Sherry was somewhat surprised.
She thought, 'Katherine came here to work as a maid? Wasn't she interning at Apricot Group?'
Sherry wanted to ask more, but the driver had already driven the car into the garage.

Katherine lazily leaned against the French window, watching Sherry leave, and smiled faintly.
The next day at noon, an elegant old lady was helped out of a luxurious car and walked into the Melville Manor.
Fiona ran over when she saw the old lady. "Grandma, you're finally here!"
"As soon as I received your call, I booked a flight for this morning!" Sandra Melville, Fiona's grandmother, looked at Fiona with concern. "Fiona, it's only been a few days since we last met. You've lost too much weight."
Fiona said with a grievance, "Grandma, my brother's new wife, bullied me as soon as she married into the family. She made me so sick that I had to be hospitalized."
Sandra became spirited. She widened her eyes.
"I want to see what Katherine is capable of. How dare she bully my precious granddaughter?" She then said to the servant, "Go and bring Katherine here!"
Fiona helped Sandra to the sofa and nestled beside her, speaking words of comfort.
She thought, 'Katherine is in big trouble today. I will definitely punish her!'
Soon, Katherine was brought in by the butler.
"Are you Katherine?"
Sandra looked her up and down.
Katherine nodded and said, "Yes. Did you call for me?"
Sandra looked at her unkindly and said, "I heard that you caused Fiona to be hospitalized. You just got married into the Melville family and already think you're the mistress of this house?"
Katherine inferred Sandra's identity and roughly guessed how Fiona had distorted the facts.
She politely explained, "Madam Melville, I never provoke others. Yesterday, it was Ms. Melville who first splashed dirty water on me. I only defended myself, not bullied her."
Sandra turned to look at Fiona and asked, "Fiona, is this true?"
Fiona shook her head with tears in her eyes and said, "Grandma, don't listen to her nonsense. She's framing me! There were many servants present in the house yesterday, and they can all testify for me!"
Seeing Fiona wink, several maids immediately stood up.
"I can testify that Ms. Melville did not provoke Mrs. Melville."
"I can testify, too!"
"And me!"
Sandra's stern gaze turned back to Katherine. "Do you have anything else to say now?"
Seeing the maids standing up, Katherine helplessly furrowed her brows.
They are all on Fiona's side. They won't listen to her explanation.
"Madam Melville, I have said everything I can. If you don't believe me, there's nothing more I can do," Katherine said.
Sandra snorted, "You still won't admit your mistake? It seems your parents didn't teach you how to behave. Let me teach you then! Bring the Melville family's rules and let her copy them a hundred times. She can only eat after she finishes. Let her learn the rules of the Melville family!"
Katherine was speechless.
She thought, 'Why do both of them like to lecture others on rules?'
"Grandma, I'm glad you're here!" Fiona leaned proudly against Sandra. She picked up a piece of cake from the table and said, "Grandma, you just got off the plane and haven't eaten yet. Have a piece of cake to fill your stomach. I'll have the chef prepare your favorite lunch."
Katherine immediately objected, "Wait. That can't be eaten!"
Fiona frowned, "Katherine, this is the Melville family. Is there anything my grandmother can't eat? Grandma, go ahead and eat; ignore her!"
Sandra indulgently took a big bite of the cake that Fiona fed her. It was already too late for Katherine to stop her.
Fiona provocatively looked at Katherine. "Why don't you go and copy the rules now? One hundred times!"

Fiona was startled. "Grandma? What's wrong?"
Katherine quickly stepped forward to check.
But Fiona pushed her away in disgust and said, "You go away! Don't touch my grandma!"
"The situation of Madam Melville is very dangerous, don't hinder me!"
"What danger? What do you want to do to my grandma?"
Fiona stood in front, causing trouble, and adamantly prevented Katherine from approaching Sandra.
In desperation, Katherine slapped her, pushing her aside!
Then, she immediately went to help Sandra on the sofa, holding her abdomen and jumping up with force.
Fiona, covering her face, got up. Seeing Katherine tormenting Sandra, she screamed, "Katherine has gone mad; she wants to kill Grandma! What are you all doing? Save my grandma!"
The servants of the Melville family picked up sticks and surrounded Katherine. But because Sandra was in her hands, they didn't dare to act rashly.
"Don't come any closer!" Katherine took a few steps back, holding Sandra.
"Let go of Madam Melville!"
"Don't do anything!"
Suddenly, a cold voice sounded.
"What are you all arguing about?"
Alexander walked in. The atmosphere instantly became tense.
Fiona saw him as her savior and rushed into Alexander's arms, saying, "Hurry and save grandma; Katherine wants to kill her!"
Alexander frowned and looked at Katherine, who was holding Fiona hostage, and coldly questioned, "Why did you hurt my grandmother?"
Katherine was about to explain, but Fiona interjected, "She made grandma angry, so grandma punished her by copying the rules. She didn't comply, so she retaliated against Grandma like this! Alex, Katherine is crazy; you should divorce her quickly!"
Alexander pushed the troublesome Fiona aside and handed her over to Leander. He stared at Katherine with a menacing gaze and said, "If you don't want to die, release my grandmother immediately!"
Katherine said, "Just wait a moment!"
Impatiently, Alexander asked, "Wait for what?"
Sandra started coughing violently.
Only then did Katherine let go of Sandra. The people of the Melville family immediately surrounded her to help Sandra calm down.
Watching Sandra coughing severely, Alexander grabbed Katherine by the neck.
"Who gave you the courage to lay a hand on my grandmother?"
"I..." Katherine felt suffocated.
Her feet suddenly dangled. Her face turned red.
Under Alexander's angry gaze, she felt the imminent threat of death!
