Chapter 254 What Are You Pretending For!
Tony led Katherine down the second-floor hallway, heading towards a large room.
Katherine paused to look at a painting on the wall; it reminded her of her mom's style.
Seeing her stop, Tony asked, puzzled, "Ms. Galatea, what's wrong? Why'd you stop?"
Katherine stared at the painting and asked, "Tony, since you're part of the Mitchell family, so you must know a lot about their business, right?"
Tony smirked, eager to impress her, and said confidently, "Of course! How could I not know about my own family's business?"
Katherine smiled, planning to use his pride to get information, and asked, "I heard Mr. Mitchell's current wife is his second wife?"
Tony, knowing this well, was enthusiastic. "Yep! Mr. Mitchell's first wife has been gone for ages. The current Mrs. Mitchell gave him a son and a daughter, and Mr. Mitchell loves her very much!"
"Is that so?" Katherine probed further. "Did Mr. Mitchell's first wife die?"
Tony laughed maliciously and replied, "I heard she ran off with someone and has been missing ever since. After all these years, she's probably dead! Can you believe it? A man of Mr. Mitchell's status, and his wife ran off with someone else. Haha!"
Katherine seized the moment, narrowing her eyes, and asked, "Really? Who did she run off with?"
Tony didn't know and didn't dare to make up rumors about the Mitchell family, so he changed the subject with a greasy smile. "Ms. Galatea, stop asking useless questions! Come on, let's go to the room ahead and talk about something more interesting!"
Katherine didn't budge and said, "Hold on. I have one more question."
Tony, his mind preoccupied with other thoughts, was getting impatient. "What is it now?"
"Wasn't there an eldest daughter in the Mitchell family named Laura?" she asked.
Tony replied, "Yeah! Mr. Mitchell had a daughter named Laura, but I heard she was illegitimate! She was born from an affair his first wife had with another man, and it made Mr. Mitchell furious for years!"
Katherine's eyes darkened; she couldn't believe her mother would do something like that.
"Was there any proof of this back then?" she inquired.
Tony didn't know and had no interest in answering. "Ms. Galatea, come on! Why are you asking so many questions about other people's business? We should be talking about us right now!"
Katherine raised an eyebrow. "Us? Talk about what?"
"What do you think a man and a woman can talk about? Come on in!" Tony, impatient, pulled Katherine into a room and locked the door behind them.
The room was large and fully furnished, with a prominent fabric bed and an attached bathroom.
Seeing this, Katherine frowned. 'What do you want?'
Tony thought Katherine was playing dumb on purpose, but he found it amusing and laughed. "What do I want? I want to do what we both enjoy! Be a good girl and take off your clothes, and I'll tell you exactly what we're going to do!"
Katherine's eyes narrowed with contempt. "Why should I take off my clothes?"
Tony was getting impatient and snapped, "You slut, stop pretending! I've heard all about your wild side! Hurry up and strip. Please me, and I'll pay you!"
Had someone really said that about her? Katherine hesitated for a moment and took a step back.
"Well, can I take a shower first?" she answered.
Tony, already shirtless and unbuckling his belt, was too eager. "Shower? I can see you're clean and fresh. No need to shower! Just strip and get on the bed!"
Katherine blinked and gave a shy smile. "Alright! But you have to close your eyes first; I get embarrassed when undressing."
Tony was delighted, thinking she was getting into the role. "You little minx, you really like playing these games! Fine, I'll play along and close my eyes while you undress!"
With that, Tony closed his eyes with a smile.
Katherine's eyes turned cold as she took out her phone and started recording a video, pointing it at Tony's face. Then, in a deliberately seductive tone, she said, "Tony, who told you about my wide side?"
Tony licked his lips and rubbed his hands. "Don't worry about who said it! Just strip. I can't wait to see your body!"
Katherine pouted, "You're so annoying! If you don't tell me who said it, I won't undress!"
Tony, drooling, laughed lecherously. "Alright, alright! It was Sophie. She told me you were great at the games men like to play! I want to have some fun with you too!"
So that's it! Katherine giggled, "Really? What if she's wrong?"
Tony snorted, "I don't care if she's right or wrong. I want you right now!"
"What if I refuse?" she replied.
Tony thought she was just playing hard to get. "Refuse? Haha, then don't blame me for getting rough! Even if it's rape, I'm going to have you today!"
Katherine chuckled, "Alright, Tony, you can open your eyes now!"
Tony opened his eyes eagerly, only to find she hadn't moved a muscle. He was furious, "What's going on? Bitch, why haven't you undressed?"
Katherine looked at her phone, satisfied with the video she had just recorded, and said nonchalantly, "Tony, I'm not into the games you mentioned. You've got the wrong person!"
"You bitch, you dare to mess with me? If you don't undress, I'll do it myself!" Tony, out of patience, lunged at Katherine like a hungry wolf.
Katherine calmly lifted her foot and kicked him hard in the groin!
Tony's face turned pale, and he clutched his crotch in pain, groaning, with tears streaming down his face!
"Is that all you got? And you want to rape me? Dumbass!" Katherine waved her phone, which was playing the video she had just recorded. "Tony, I recorded everything you just said. It's enough evidence to charge you with attempted rape!"
Tony was cornered and shouted, "You bitch! You—"
At that moment, a voice came from outside the room.
"Bernard, I just saw Katherine go into this room with a man. Could she be in danger? But it looked like she went in willingly!" said Sophie.
Was she bringing Bernard to catch them in the act?
The door handle was forcefully twisted from the outside but didn't open. Bernard's cold voice rang out, "Open the door!"
