Chapter 580 Let's Use It Together
With a gut reaction, Teresa took a step back. "Mr. Perez, what are you doing?"
Frank held up the condoms and said, "The ones you got me that day, I didn’t use any of them."
'So what? What’s Frank getting at? Not using them means he didn’t take any precautions with his girlfriend that day? Is he warning me to keep my distance?' she thought.
Teresa felt a bit awkward, "Mr. Perez, I get it. I won’t bother you anymore. No need for this."
Seeing she got the wrong idea, Frank felt a bit helpless. " I mean, you bought them for me, and I couldn’t bring myself to use them, so we didn't do anything that day."
'What’s he even talking about? Mr. Perez is acting really weird today!' Teresa thought.
"Mr. Perez, what are you saying?" she asked.
Frank grinned and whispered, "You bought them; let's save them for later!"
Teresa was totally shocked and couldn’t believe her ears, feeling super offended. She raised her hand and slapped Frank twice. After hitting him, she angrily opened the bathroom door and stormed out!
When Frank walked out of the bathroom with two clear slap marks on his face, Katherine and Ambrosia were standing at the door, looking at him with disdain.
Ambrosia was a bit smug. "Serves you right!"
Frank shrugged. "I don’t mind!"
Katherine rubbed her temples. "Alright, you two, follow me upstairs!"
Frank and Ambrosia followed Katherine to her bedroom.
Sandra, probably feeling that Fiona was in the wrong, had someone bring food to Katherine's bedroom to apologize.
Charles was asleep. After Katherine put him on the bed and covered him with a blanket, she walked to the door, opened it, and looked outside.
After making sure no one was outside, she closed the door, sat on the sofa, and said to Frank and Ambrosia, "In a few days, I'll have Sandra take me out for a trip. I'll let you know the exact time. There will be a bunch of bodyguards with us. You two need to find a way to distract the Melville family's men, and I'll make my escape!"
Frank and Ambrosia exchanged a glance and then nodded to Katherine.
Ambrosia said, "Don’t worry, we’ll set everything up and go along with your plan."
Frank added, "Where do you plan to escape to? Should I arrange a plane in advance?"
Katherine said, "You just need to distract the bodyguards. Don’t worry about the rest. As for where I’m going, you don’t need to know for now."
Frank frowned, annoyed, "What? You’re not even telling us?"
Katherine glanced at him. "It’s not that I’m not telling you; I haven’t decided where to go yet, and I can’t leave the country with your help."
Frank asked again, "Not with our help? Then who will you find?"
Katherine cautiously replied, "Alex knows I’m in contact with you two. Once I’m gone, he'll come after you! If he knows you helped me, you'll be in big trouble! So, I’m planning to find someone else to help!"
Frank and Ambrosia asked in unison, "Who?"
"If he agrees to help me, you'll know soon enough!" Katherine didn't want to spill the beans before she had confirmation.
Frank and Ambrosia exchanged puzzled looks, unable to guess who Katherine had in mind.
After lunch in the bedroom, Katherine called someone in to clean up. Anton came in with the servants to deliver a message, "Mrs. Katherine Melville, Mrs. Sandra Melville has everything set up for the casino and is inviting you and your friends over."
'Sandra hasn't forgotten about the casino?' Katherine thought.
Katherine nodded, "Alright, we'll be right down."
After Anton left, Katherine turned to Frank and Ambrosia, "When we go down, make sure to keep Sandra entertained!"
Even though Frank and Ambrosia weren't into the casino scene, they knew better than to ignore Katherine's orders.
Sandra had the servants set up the casino in a quiet and elegant reception room.
After arranging for two maids to watch over the sleeping Charles, Katherine took Frank and Ambrosia downstairs.
As soon as they entered the reception room, they saw Sandra having Fiona apologize to Teresa.
Teresa wasn't one to hold grudges, so she nodded and forgave Fiona without much fuss.
But this scene didn't sit well with Frank.
Seeing Katherine and the others arrive, Sandra smiled warmly and waved them over. "Katherine, come on! Have your friends join us. I haven't played in ages!"
Katherine smiled and sat down with Frank and Ambrosia.
Teresa didn't know how to play casino games, so she pulled up a chair next to Sandra to watch and learn, avoiding looking at Frank the whole time.
Frank sat across from Sandra, his gaze occasionally drifting to Teresa.
Fiona knew how to play and insisted on joining, so Ambrosia sat next to Katherine, and they watched together.
They had originally agreed to make Sandra happy. But during the game, Frank seemed to forget Katherine's instructions and kept winning.
After a few rounds, Fiona kept losing and wanted to curse.
But she remembered Nathan's advice before he left, hoping she would change her temper, so she took a deep breath and said nothing.
In the end, Sandra won quite a few rounds, making her very happy.
Time flew by, and it was almost dinner time.
Sandra warmly invited the guests to stay for dinner, but Frank and Ambrosia politely declined, and Teresa, declining as well, left the Melville Manor with them.
However, Teresa didn't get into Frank's car. Instead, she politely said goodbye to Ambrosia and walked away on her own.
Frank had the driver slowly follow her, rolled down the window, and said, "Get in the car. I'll take you home."
Teresa didn't stop or look at him. "Thanks, Mr. Perez, but no need. I'm not heading home right now."
