Chapter 891 Ignore That Guy
After speaking, Sunny swaggered in and grabbed the main seat!
Katherine, Teresa, and Ambrosia were ordering food together, while Frank willingly played a supporting role, sitting cross-legged quietly on the side, waiting for instructions.
Even after everyone had ordered their food, no one paid attention to Sunny.
Sunny couldn't help but get angry, "Hey! I haven't ordered yet, and you already gave the menu back to the waiter?"
The three girls just glanced at him briefly and then lowered their heads again to look at the wedding dress photos on Teresa's tablet, helping her make a choice.
Sunny was so angry he almost went crazy. Frank reached out and patted him, telling him to calm down, and whispered, "Sunny, don't worry. From what I know, Ambrosia definitely ordered your share!"
Sunny was taken aback and couldn't quite believe it, "Really?"
Frank nodded with a smile, "Just wait and see. When the food comes, you'll know if there's something for you!"
Sunny looked over at Ambrosia, his expression changing from displeasure to anticipation. Did Ambrosia really know his taste now?
Soon, the waiter came in with the food.
Since they had ordered so much, Sunny couldn't immediately tell if Ambrosia had ordered something for him. Anyway, with so much food, he just assumed there was something for him!
"Alright, you three stop looking at wedding dresses and eat first. After dinner, I'll take you to the store to see them in person!" Frank knocked on the table to remind them.
Katherine, Teresa, and Ambrosia looked up, saw the table full of food, put down the tablet, and each picked up a fork.
Sunny spoke up again, "Frank, did you say we're going to a bridal shop to look at wedding dresses later?"
Frank nodded, "Yes, the wedding is coming up, and Teresa hasn't chosen her dress yet, so they're going to help her pick one."
Sunny's eyes lit up as he looked at Ambrosia, "Great! We'll go too. Ambrosia can pick hers in advance since our wedding is also coming up!"
Ambrosia, who had just put a shrimp in her mouth, almost choked.
Seeing this, Sunny immediately moved to Ambrosia's side and poured her a glass of juice, "Ambrosia, eat slowly. No one's going to take it from you!"
Teresa laughed, "Sunny, are you stupid? You've been studying abroad for years, and your IQ is still the same! Can't you see Ambrosia choked not because she was eating too fast, but because of what you just said?"
Sunny glared at Teresa, "What do you know? Mind your own business and leave me and Ambrosia alone!"
After snapping at Teresa, Sunny offered Ambrosia some water, "Here, Ambrosia, drink some water, and you won't choke!"
Ambrosia did take the water and drank a sip, catching her breath before standing up, "You guys eat first. I'm going to the restroom."
Sunny followed, "I'll go with you!"
Ambrosia turned back coldly, warning, "Don't follow me. I'm going to the ladies' room. What are you going to do?"
Sunny, intimidated by Ambrosia's glare, stayed put.
Teresa teased him again, "Rejected again? Ambrosia has no intention of marrying you, and you want to take her to look at wedding dresses. She doesn't care about you at all!"
Sunny glared at Teresa, "Don't think that just because you're next to Katherine, I can't do anything to you!"
Teresa, feeling confident, put her hands on her hips, "I'm right here next to Katherine. What can you do to me?"
Sunny gritted his teeth in frustration. He was already troubled by not understanding Ambrosia's feelings, and Teresa kept provoking him!
He couldn't do anything to her! She was a girl, and he couldn't hit her!
He decided to ignore her and turned to Katherine, who was focused on eating.
"Katherine, you haven't answered me yet. I called you so many times this morning, and you didn't pick up any of them! Is the work at the Melville Group so much that you don't even have time to answer a call?"
Before Katherine could answer, Teresa chimed in again, "Isn't it obvious? Katherine just didn't want to answer your call! I called her this morning, and she picked up!"
Sunny's face turned even darker, "I wasn't talking to you. Can you stop butting in? You're about to get married, and you're still so annoying. Be careful, Frank might not marry you!"
Teresa glanced at Frank, "He doesn't have the chance to regret it now, so don't worry about it!"
Sunny, unable to argue, ignored her and looked pitifully at Katherine, "Katherine, did you ignore my calls on purpose?"
Katherine turned to look at Sunny, seeing his aggrieved expression from being teased, and felt a bit sorry for him.
So, she avoided the main issue and asked, "What did you call me for? I didn't see any missed calls!"
Hearing Katherine's explanation, Sunny immediately felt proud and glared at Teresa, "Did you hear that? Katherine didn't see the missed calls. She didn't ignore me on purpose!"
Teresa was about to speak again.
Sunny cut her off, "Shut up. I'm talking to Katherine now. Don't interrupt!"
Teresa frowned and was about to retort when Frank offered her a shrimp, "Here, try this. It's pretty good!"
Teresa paused and looked at Frank, understanding that he wanted her to say less.
Feeling a bit annoyed, she still ate the shrimp Frank offered and ignored Sunny.
Having won against Teresa, Sunny felt refreshed and explained to Katherine, "It's nothing! It's just my dad. He insisted I call you this morning to ask if you could visit him at the hospital."
Katherine knew it was about this and didn't want to answer.
She had no feelings for Sunny's father and didn't like him, so she didn't want to visit him and saw no need to.
Seeing Katherine's silence, Sunny said, "Katherine, I know you don't want to go, but my dad keeps bringing it up. I had no choice but to call. And Katherine, my dad usually doesn't talk much, but now he asks about you every day just to see you."
