Chapter 941 Just Go as You Are
Alex walked over and put his arm around Katherine's shoulder, patting her gently to calm her down, and led her into the house.
After making a few phone calls, Bernard returned to the living room and said to them, "Scarlett was indeed released a month ago, but she hasn't been home. I found out that she worked several jobs in Janetrick recently, but she quit all of them the day before yesterday. Now, no one knows where she is."
Katherine couldn't sit still and stood up, saying, "It must be her! She took Charles! What does she want?"
Bernard looked at Katherine helplessly. Although he understood her anxiety, he really didn't have any useful information to help her. "Katherine, I've already sent people everywhere to find her whereabouts! Don't be too anxious. If Scarlett took Charles, he might be relatively safe, after all, Charles was once her adopted child."
Mentioning this only made Katherine more anxious. "Bernard, you know why she adopted Charles back then. And you know how she treated him! I would rather Charles be kidnapped by someone else; they would just want money. Scarlett probably wants Charles's life!"

Bernard was silent. Katherine was right, and he had nothing to say.
If Scarlett really had someone kidnap Charles, there was no way to predict what she might do!
Upstairs, Sunny, who was chatting on the phone with Ambrosia, heard the commotion in the living room and frowned, sitting up to listen carefully.
Ambrosia noticed something was wrong and asked, "What's the matter?"
Sunny said, "I think I hear Katherine's voice downstairs!"
Ambrosia was also surprised, "Katherine? What is she doing at your house so late?"
Sunny got up and put on his shoes, saying, "I don't know, I'll go down and check. I'll call you back later!"
"Okay."
After hanging up the phone, Sunny quickly put on a robe and went out.
Sure enough, when he went downstairs, he saw Alex and Katherine in their living room.

"Bernard, Katherine, Alex, what are you talking about so late?" Sunny walked over and asked curiously.
After asking, he noticed the tears on Katherine's face, "Katherine, why are you crying?"
He had never seen Katherine cry like this before, and Sunny was shocked!
Katherine had no energy to explain, feeling weak and helpless. Without the kidnapper's contact information, she couldn't do anything. She didn't know where Charles had been taken and couldn't find Scarlett!
She was so worried about Charles, afraid he might be hurt or scared.
Alex held Katherine gently, stroking her hair and comforting her in a low voice.
Sunny was even more confused and turned to ask Bernard, "Bernard, what's wrong with Katherine?"
Bernard frowned, looking serious, "Sunny, let me ask you, have you seen Scarlett recently?"
Sunny was stunned by Bernard's question, his eyes darting around, "Bernard, why are you suddenly asking about Scarlett?"
Bernard knew Sunny well. When he lied, his eyes couldn't stop darting around. Seeing this, Bernard's expression darkened, and he raised his voice, "Tell me! Have you seen her or not?"
"No." Sunny avoided Bernard's questioning gaze.
Bernard grabbed Sunny's collar, "Charles is missing, and it might be Scarlett who took him. You see how anxious Katherine is! If you've seen Scarlett, tell us where she is right now!"
Sunny's eyes widened, "What? No way! How could Scarlett..."
Bernard pulled him closer, "So you have seen her! Tell me, where is she?"
Hearing this, Katherine also rushed out of Alex's arms, "You've seen Scarlett? Tell me where she is!"
Sunny had promised Scarlett not to say anything, but facing Bernard and Katherine's urgent questioning, and considering Charles's safety, he hesitated for a moment and finally told the truth.
"I did see her."
Katherine pushed Bernard away and grabbed Sunny's clothes, "Where did you see her? When? Where is she?"
Sunny said, "A few days ago, Ambrosia told me that Fiona saw Scarlett, so I sent someone to find her. I found out she was working at a fast-food restaurant, so I went to see her.
Katherine, I'm sorry. I know Scarlett hurt you before, but she's still my sister, born from the same mother. When I heard she was working odd jobs and living so hard, I couldn't help but go see her."
Katherine didn't care about these details; she wanted to know where Scarlett was!
"Where is she? Take me to her! Now!"
Sunny said, "I don't know where she is now. I only found her the first time. She was cleaning at the fast-food restaurant, and when she saw me, she even gave me a meal. Later, she asked me for $200,000. Seeing how hard her life was, I gave it to her!
After that, I passed by the fast-food restaurant again, wanting to see her, but the boss told me she had quit! Now I don't know where she is.
Katherine, Charles's disappearance might not have anything to do with Scarlett. When I saw her that day, she seemed changed, more humble, and trying to make amends for her past mistakes."
Only Sunny would believe Scarlett could change!
Katherine grabbed Sunny's clothes, "Now, take me to that fast-food restaurant, quickly!"
Sunny blinked, "It's so late, they're probably closed."
Katherine said, "I don't care! Take me there now!"
Sunny quickly nodded, "Okay, I'll go change my clothes first!"
Before Katherine could speak, Bernard grabbed Sunny, "No need to change! We're not going on a blind date, just go as you are!"
Sunny sighed, "Alright!"
Then, they all got into Alex's car and quickly headed to the fast-food restaurant where Scarlett had worked!
