Chapter 811 Go Back Immediately!

Trevor's brow furrowed slightly, "Your grandma's painting? Where did you get it?"

George replied, "Auntie Linda gave it to me. She said it was painted by her art teacher! I saw the signature 'Lotus' and thought it was the same as Grandma's name, so I wanted to keep it and give it to Mommy! My mommy lost her mother when she was young and thought Grandma had passed away! Mommy will be so surprised when she sees this painting!"

Trevor squinted at the painting, "If it's something she'll like, then keep it safe and we'll give it to her the next time we meet."

George nodded vigorously, "Okay!"

Trevor reached out and patted George's head, "Also, remember, you shouldn't mention your mommy here, understand?"

George understood what Trevor meant. Although he was a bit unhappy about not being able to mention Katherine, he obediently agreed.

Katherine returned to the Melville Manor.

The three little ones rushed towards her.

"Mommy! Mommy! Where did you go so early in the morning?"

Katherine squatted down and hugged the three children, "Mommy went out to meet a friend. Did you three behave and listen to Fiona, and eat your breakfast?"

Julian, Edith, and Charles nodded in unison, "Yes!"

Edith said seriously, "Mommy, we were very good! After breakfast, we even tried on clothes with Fiona to pick out what to wear to the wedding!"

Katherine ruffled Edith's hair, "Good job! Wait, wedding clothes? Whose wedding are you going to?"

Before Julian, Edith, and Charles could answer, Fiona's voice chimed in, "To Frank and Teresa's wedding! Katherine, didn't you know?"

Katherine stood up, looking at Fiona in disbelief, "Whose wedding did you say?"

Fiona handed an invitation to Katherine. "See for yourself! Frank sent this invitation this morning. The wedding is scheduled for next week!"

Katherine grabbed the invitation and opened it. Sure enough, it was an invitation to Frank and Teresa's wedding, with a photo of the two of them!

Seeing Katherine's clueless expression, Fiona frowned, "Katherine, you didn't know? Aren't you and Frank really good friends? He didn't give you any hint about this?"

Katherine stared at the invitation for a while, didn't answer Fiona's question. Then she instructed, "Keep an eye on the three of them for me. I need to go out for a bit, I'll be back soon."

Without waiting for Fiona's response, she quickly ran out.

Fiona guessed that Katherine was probably going to confront Frank!

Oh well, she wouldn't get involved in that. Watching the kids was her most important task!

Besides, she needed to pick out the prettiest dress and have Nathan be her date for the wedding.

Katherine returned to the house she used to share with Ambrosia and Frank. Just as she was about to enter the code to unlock the door, she hesitated and decided to ring the doorbell instead.

She hadn't been back in a while and didn't know if Ambrosia and Frank had brought anyone over. If she saw something she shouldn't, it would be awkward for her!

After a while, someone came to open the door.

Katherine was right; it wasn't Ambrosia or Frank who opened the door, but it wasn't a stranger either.

Sunny, in pajamas and looking like he had just woken up, scratched his messy hair and yawned, "Katherine, it's you! Why are you up so early? Isn't it the weekend?"

Katherine brushed past Sunny and walked straight in, looking around the room, "Where are Ambrosia and Frank?"

Sunny followed her and answered honestly, "Ambrosia is getting ready, and Frank moved out a couple of days ago. He's getting married, remember? He's already moved into his new place!"

Moved out? Frank didn't give her any heads-up!

Katherine's face darkened further. She sat down on the couch and ordered Sunny, "Get me a glass of water!"

Sunny obediently agreed, "Okay."

Sunny brought the water, and Ambrosia, now dressed, came out of her room.

"Katherine, you're up early!"

Ambrosia took the glass of water from Sunny and handed it to Katherine.

Katherine was really thirsty. She took a couple of sips before looking at Ambrosia with displeasure, "You and Frank sure have some nerve! Both of you kept his wedding a secret from me and then had the audacity to notify me like some outsider with a wedding invitation?"

Ambrosia looked innocent, "Katherine, it's not my fault. I would definitely have told you about something as important as a wedding. As for Frank, I only found out when he was packing to move out. I thought he would tell you himself."

Katherine chuckled, "Where did he move to?"

Ambrosia replied honestly, "He bought a riverside apartment. He's planning to live there after the wedding."

Katherine took another sip of water, "He's got it all figured out, hasn't he? Just took care of everything himself! Great."

The "great" from Katherine's mouth was calm but full of displeasure.

Having grown up together, Ambrosia could tell Katherine was angry. She took out her phone, "Katherine, I'll call him right now and make him come back to explain!"

With that, Ambrosia went to the balcony to make the call.

Sunny stood there awkwardly, feeling the same pressure from Katherine as he did from Bernard.

"Katherine, Frank is an adult. He can make his own decisions about his marriage. You don't need to be so angry, do you?"

Katherine raised an eyebrow coldly, "Angry? Who, me?"

Sunny felt a chill down his spine, "Good, you're not angry! I'll go get you some fruit!"

With that, he quickly retreated to the kitchen!

If that wasn't Katherine being angry, her glare could have cut through steel!

If he didn't get out of there, he’d be in trouble!

On the balcony, Ambrosia finally got through to Frank. There was a lot of background noise, suggesting he wasn't at home.

"Where are you? Katherine is here looking for you!"

Frank's voice sounded a bit different, "What's up? Does Katherine need something?"

Ambrosia snapped, "Don't play dumb with me! Get back here and explain your wedding to Katherine!"

Frank chuckled, "Tell Katherine to wait for me. I'll be back soon to explain everything!"
