Chapter 970 I Won't Go!
Christina immediately pulled the blanket over herself, "Why did you come in without knocking?"
Bernard cleared his throat, "This is my room."
Christina then realized she was in Bernard's room, "Sorry, I didn't realize! I thought that with Grandpa and Grandma back, if we continue to sleep in separate rooms, they might get suspicious."
Feeling guilty, Christina quickly explained.

Christina stared at his departing back, frowning.
Christina locked the door before she felt at ease to change clothes. Just as she finished changing, the phone rang.
She picked up the phone, and Jared's name was displayed on the screen.
This was one of the names she least wanted to see right now, but Jared was her father, so she had to answer the call.
Christina went to the balcony to answer the phone, "Hello, Dad, what do you need?"
"Christina, you are really ungrateful!" As soon as the call connected, Jared's first words were to scold her.
