Katherine looked at Nora, "Ms. Adams, now it's not just a matter of a lesson. Your stepdaughter Sophia just threw a bottle of sulfuric acid at me. Although it didn't hit me, Alex got some on his arm while protecting me and got injured! Now, she's been taken away by the police!"

Claire then looked up at Alex, "Alex, where are you hurt? Come here, let me see!"
Alex walked over to Katherine and, holding her shoulder, said to Claire, "Mrs. Mitchell, don't worry. It's just a small injury, I'm fine."
Claire, still a bit shaken, held Katherine's hand tightly, "As long as you two are okay, that's all that matters!"
Nora calmed down, took a deep breath, and walked a few steps forward to Katherine and Alex, "Katherine, Trevor... uh, I mean, Mr. Melville. I'm very sorry for what my stepdaughter did to you both. I'm truly sorry!"
As she spoke, she bowed deeply to Katherine and Alex, showing her sincerity.
Katherine quickly stood up and helped Nora up, "Nora, it's not you who should apologize, but I hope you won't blame us for how we deal with Sophia next."
Nora shook her head helplessly, "How could I blame you? Sophia is beyond help. It's good if she can be reformed and punished by the law! Katherine, can I trouble you two to take care of Claire here for a while? I want to find Brent and talk to him. He must be very upset knowing Sophia was arrested, and I need to calm him down so he doesn't do anything rash."
Katherine nodded, "I understand. Thank you for taking care of my mom these days! We'll stay here, don't worry."
Nora wiped her tears, sighed, and left with Linda.
Watching Nora leave, Katherine's eyes were a bit complicated.

Katherine turned to Claire, "Mom, don't worry. We'll only hold Brent and Sophia accountable, not Nora and Linda."
Claire nodded, but her heart was still heavy. If something happened to Brent, Nora wouldn't be at peace either.
As Katherine's mother, she couldn't persuade Katherine to let go of those who had hurt them.
When Nora and Linda arrived at the hotel, Brent had just received the news of Sophia's arrest and was about to go out to save her!

Brent was stunned, "Nora, why are you back? Is your friend discharged? Never mind, I have something to do now. Take Linda inside, and we'll talk when I get back!"

Nora took a deep breath, "Katherine set her up? Even if Katherine did, it was within legal and reasonable bounds. But what about Sophia? She threw sulfuric acid at Katherine! Nora and Linda sat beside him, sighing deeply, "Cole, Trevor has returned to the Melville family. He remembers his past, his legs have healed, and he's now with Katherine."
Brent was stunned but not too surprised, "I figured. When Sophia said he was missing, I guessed it."
Nora continued, "Now that Trevor is back with the Melville family, he will definitely come after you and Sophia for everything that happened in the past three years. You need to be prepared."
Brent snorted irritably, "Let him come. I'm not afraid!"
Nora looked at Brent, feeling a deep sadness, "Trevor, back to the Melville family, is no longer a man to be trifled with. He has the power to deal with you! Cole, we did wrong.
