Chapter 792 Apologize, Now!
"Trevor, I'm back!" As soon as Sophia entered the suite, she called out.
Trevor and George were both watching TV in the living room. Hearing her come in, neither of them looked over.
Trevor just responded indifferently, "Hmm."
Sophia was used to Trevor's coldness. She carried the groceries she had bought from the supermarket over to the sofa.
"Trevor, look, I passed by the supermarket on my way back and bought a lot of fresh ingredients. I'll make the soup I just learned today for you in a bit!" She said, shaking the shopping bag in her hand.
Trevor looked up at her without much emotion. "You've been busy all day. You don't have to cook tonight."
But Sophia shook her head and insisted, "I'm not tired! Trevor, I actually enjoy cooking. Every time I see you and Julian eating the food I made, I feel a great sense of accomplishment!"
Trevor didn't respond. If she wanted to cook, he wasn't going to argue.
Today, he had no appetite; it didn't matter what he ate.
But George, in his childlike innocence, muttered, "Dad and I eat your food not because it's good, but because we don't have any other choice. If we don't eat, we'll go hungry."
Hearing George's words, Sophia's face stiffened, but she forced a smile. "Julian, if you talk like that, you'll never get a wife when you grow up!"
George shrugged. "Of course, I wouldn't talk to my future wife like that. I'm not dumb!"
So, he was deliberately talking to her like that, deliberately trying to annoy her!
Damn it!
This damn kid, he was indeed raised by that bitch Katherine, making him inherently annoying!
Sophia couldn't bear it anymore. She walked over and grabbed George's ear, "How dare you talk to me like that? Don't you have any manners? I work so hard every day to cook for you, and you still complain that it's not good?"
George's ear hurt from being pulled, and he cried out, "Let go of me."
Sophia said, "Apologize to me nicely, and I'll let you go!"
George endured the pain and stubbornly glared at her, "Then you might as well kill me!"
Sophia really wanted to kill this disrespectful child right now, but she couldn't do it in front of Trevor, "You little brat!"
"What are you doing? Let go of him!" Trevor suddenly shouted, his voice cold and sharp.
Sophia was stunned and let go of George, looking at Trevor in surprise, "Trevor, I was just disciplining him! You saw it, too; Julian is getting more and more disrespectful to me, not treating me as his mother at all. This can't go on!"
Trevor pulled the hurt George over, checked his reddened ear, and then looked up at Sophia angrily, "Disciplining a child doesn't mean using violence! He's only three years old, how could you do that?"
Sophia looked innocent, "I didn't use any real force, I just wanted to scare him a little! Trevor, don't listen to Julian's cries, he's just trying to get you on his side! I really think Julian needs proper discipline, or he won't even listen to you in the future!"
George, feeling wronged, nestled in Trevor's arms, "Who said I wouldn't listen to Dad? I always listen to Dad!"
Sophia looked down at George, frustration evident in her voice. "You listen to Trevor, why don't you listen to me?"
George frowned, "Because I don't think you're my mommy!"
Sophia was stunned and felt a bit panicked. "What are you talking about? Of course, I'm your mommy! Where else would you have come from?"
George, with his big eyes wide open, said unhappily, "What proof do you have that you're my mommy? I don't think I look like you at all."
Sophia instinctively glanced at Trevor's reaction and quickly said, "Kids don't always look like their parents when they're young. Sometimes they grow to look more like them as they get older!"
George crossed his arms defiantly. "If you think you're really my mom, then prove it! Take me for a DNA test and let's see if we're actually related!"
Sophia was at a loss for words.
Was he tired of playing here and wanted to use this opportunity to go back to Katherine?
He would never go back and see that bitch again!
Sophia knew he wasn't her biological child, and the real Julian wasn't hers either. She wasn't afraid of the kids knowing!
What she feared most was Trevor finding out about Katherine and discovering that he had two kids with her.
If that happened, she would never be able to keep Trevor, unless it was his corpse!
She truly loved Trevor and didn't want it to come to that.
"You're talking nonsense again! We're a family. Imagine what people would think if they heard us talking about DNA tests!" Sophia pretended to be angry.
But George wasn't joking. He knew his mommy was Katherine, so he was sure he wasn't Sophia's child!
Now he suspected that Trevor's original son wasn't Sophia's either, and he was just testing her.
Seeing Sophia's guilty reaction, George felt he was right. Sophia had never given birth to Trevor's child; everything she said was to deceive Trevor, to keep him by her side!
Sophia was so selfish!
Trevor was really helpless and pitiful.
He was so handsome, yet he was trapped by such a bad woman like Sophia, with no freedom at all!
Sophia was a bad woman, and he had to save Trevor from her!
George frowned, "I think you're just scared, afraid to do a DNA test!"
Sophia gritted her teeth, "You..."
"Enough! That's enough, both of you stop talking!" Trevor interrupted their conversation impatiently.
Sophia and George both fell silent at Trevor's exasperated tone.
Trevor looked at Sophia, then at George with a serious face, "How can you talk to Sophia like that? She's so good to you!"
George was stunned.
Sophia was also stunned, not expecting Trevor to scold the fake Julian for her, this was unprecedented!
Trevor's voice deepened, "Apologize! Now!"
