Chapter 218 Mr. Melville's Promise to Scarlett
Katherine looked uneasy. She instinctively touched the towel around her neck. "It's nothing, I'm just cold!"
Sunny furrowed in confusion. "If you're cold, a towel won't help. Let me give you my clothes!"
As he spoke, he turned to Scarlett and asked, "Scarlett, are you still cold?"
Scarlett, surprised replied, "No, I'm not cold anymore!"
Sunny said seriously, "Scarlett, give Katherine your coat. She fell into the water and might catch a cold!"
Scarlett then realized she was still wearing Sunny's coat. His request made her smile freeze. "Okay! You're right. Katherine did fall into the water and might get cold!"
She reluctantly take off the coat and hand it to Sunny.
Sunny took the coat without hesitation and handed it to Katherine. "Here, wear this!"
Katherine looked at the coat, then raised an eyebrow at Sunny. She smiled and waved her hand. "Thanks, but no need."
Sunny tried to push the coat into her hands. "I told you to wear it, so wear it. No need to be polite with me."
Katherine replied, "I appreciate the gesture, but really, it's not necessary."
Unfortunately, her refusal was in vain. Sunny, thinking she was just being shy and pulled the towel off her neck, forcibly putting his coat on her!
In an instant, the hickeys on her neck were exposed, sparking wild imaginations.
Seeing this, Scarlett was first stunned, then her eyes darkened with hidden emotions!

Katherine flushed with embarrassment and said, "Well."
"Katherine!" Sunny said seriously, "Are you having an allergic reaction again?Don't be stubborn! I'll call an ambulancey!"
Katherine was speechless.
Seeing Sunny about to make the call, she quickly stopped him. "No need, I'm fine. It's not that serious! Save the ambulance for those who need it!"
Thanks to Alex, she had once taken an ambulance for her period.

"Katherine, don't be stubborn! There's no shame in it!" Sunny insisted on calling for help.

Meanwhile, Scarlett watched Sunny's concern for Katherine. Her eyes grew darker, contrasting sharply with her innocent, doe-like face.
"What are you all doing here?" Alex's deep voice rang out, commanding authority without anger.
Katherine and Sunny, who were arguing about whether to call for emergency help, both looked over at the sound.
Alex stood not far away, looking at them coldly.
Scarlett called out, "Alex!"
Scarlett snapped out of it, her dark expression instantly replaced by an innocent, doe-like look.
She ran over to Alex, sighing helplessly, "Alex, I came to apologize to Katherine. There's some misunderstanding between us, but she doesn't seem to want to forgive me."
Alex glanced indifferently at Scarlett, then Sunny, and finally at the men's coat on Katherine, his eyes narrowing dangerously.
He questioned, "Whose coat is that?"
Katherine was at a loss of words.
Sunny felt a chill down his spine and quickly explained, "Alex, Katherine said she was cold, so I gave her my coat! She's also having an allergic reaction on her neck. I was about to call an ambulance, but she refused. Can you please talk to her?"
Alex's brows furrowed deeply. Sunny giving Katherine his coat already displeased him, and now he was staring worriedly at the marks on her neck, visible because of her low neckline.
He walked past Scarlett and slowly approached Katherine, tilting his chin coldly. "Be good, give the coat back."
Katherine replied, "Oh!"
She hadn't wanted to wear it in the first place; Sunny had pulled off her towel and forced the coat on her. She was so focused on stopping Sunny from calling an ambulance that she forgot she was still wearing it.
Hearing Alex's words, Katherine took off the man's coat and handed it back to Sunny.
Then, Alex took off his coat and draped it over Katherine, covering her chest completely and leaving only her head exposed, ensuring no one else could see anything.
Sunny obediently took back his coat but was still worried, frowning as he said, "Alex, her allergic reaction on her neck."
This kid still mentioned her neck and dared to look?
Alex's eyes narrowed coldly, and he said sternly, "Adults' matters are not for children. Take Scarlett downstairs to find Bernard!"
With that, he put his arm around Katherine's shoulder and led her back to the room.
Scarlett stood there, watching Alex lead Katherine away, unwilling to let it go. She took a few steps forward andcalled out, "Alex, wait!"
Alex paused and then asked, "Do you have something else to say?"
Scarlett's trembling eyes looked at him. "Alex, you haven't forgotten what you promised me, right?"
He turned to her, his eyes complex. After a moment, he said calmly, "Don't worry, I haven't."
Scarlett nodded obediently. "Okay, I'll wait for you!"
Katherine, confused, turned to look at Scarlett, who was smiling.
Her smile had an indescribable meaning.
Not only that, Scarlett touched her abdomen provocatively.
Katherine suddenly remembered Scarlett's C-section scar. Scarlett had said she and Alex had a child.
