Chapter 202 Mr. Melville Meets 'Mr. Galatea' for the First Time

Katherine lowered her head, further fueling Sherry's arrogance. "How to deal with you? That depends on your attitude of admitting guilt and my mood!"

At this moment, Lillian sighed helplessly and kindly advised her daughter, "Let it go, Sherry. After all, Katherine is your sister. Don't be too hard on her!"

Then, Lillian turned to Katherine with a kind and compassionate look and said, "Katherine, you've taken Sherry's place for so long, hindering her career from returning to its peak. We'll just consider it as you being young and naive, and we won't pursue those losses. Today, as long as you give Sherry back Mrs. Melville's position, pack your things, leave here, and promise never to appear again or ruin Sherry and Mr. Melville's marriage, I'll decide to let this matter go!"

Sherry was unhappy and said, "Mom, that's too lenient on her!"

Lillian looked at her daughter and, in a pretended lecturing tone, said, "Sherry, Katherine is your sister. Even if you don't consider her, you should consider your father and forgive her!"

Sherry received her mother's signal and understood that her mother wanted her to be patient and prioritize kicking Katherine out of the Melville family first.

So, Sherry didn't insist further. She gave Katherine a fierce look, and left everything to her mom to handle.

Joshua looked at his understanding wife, feeling both heartbroken and moved, as well as guilty for having wronged her before. He couldn't help but hold his virtuous wife's hand and sighed. "Lillian, you and Sherry have suffered. Despite everything that has happened, you still consider me and forgive this disrespectful daughter!"

Lillian performed her best act of gentle kindness and said, "Joshua, what are you talking about? We are a family!"

Joshua felt guilty, and this guilt intensified his anger. He glared at the trouble-causing Katherine and shouted irritably, "What are you still standing there for? Hurry up and thank Lillian for her generosity! I'm telling you, you'd better know what's good for you! Otherwise, even if Lillian agrees to let you go, I won't!"

Katherine immediately stood up from the sofa, bowed sincerely, and thanked her. "Thank you, Lillian, for your kindness and for giving me a chance to start over! Thank you! I know my mistake, and I will move out right away!"

Seeing this, they were stunned.

Lillian thought Katherine would definitely not leave the Melville family so easily. The little bitch had schemed so hard to get the position of Mrs. Melville; how could she relinquish it without a fight?

So, she expected a scene of unreasonable entanglement, with Katherine stubbornly refusing to leave!

She could also use this to show Joshua how 'good people get bullied' and emphasize Katherine's deceitfulness!

Unexpectedly, Katherine agreed to move out so quickly, which caught Lillian off guard.

They fell silent, and Katherine slowly raised her head with a very honest expression. "Huh? Why are you all looking at me like that? Are you dissatisfied with my decision to move out? If so, I can stay and take care of Sherry's daily needs to make amends!"

Sherry snapped back to reality and quickly said, "I don't need you to take care of me! Katherine, stop thinking about any tricks. Moving out is non-negotiable! However, before you move out, you need to explain to Mr. Melville how you took my place and married into the Melville family. Don't leave any loose ends!"

Katherine nodded very cooperatively. "Okay, definitely. However, Mr. Melville is currently at the company, and he is very busy with work. It wouldn't be appropriate to disturb him. I'll explain everything to him when he returns tonight!"

"What? You still want to wait until he gets off work to leave?" Sherry frowned, feeling very displeased.

She wished Katherine would leave the house immediately to feel satisfied!

Katherine looked a bit troubled. "Sherry, do you want me to call Mr. Melville now? You may not know, but Mr. Melville dislikes being disturbed during work. If I call and disrupt his meetings, he might get angry when he returns and could even take it out on you."

Hearing this, Sherry instinctively exchanged a glance with her mother, both feeling a bit worried.

After thinking it over, Sherry said irritably, ''Fine then! You pack your things first. When Mr. Melville finishes work, and you explain everything, you must leave immediately!"

"Alright!" Katherine agreed very readily.

Then, she turned to the somewhat bewildered maid beside her and instructed her to gather Anton and all the servants in the house.

The maid snapped out of her daze, nodded, and quickly ran off.

Before long, Anton gathered all the Melville family's servants in the living room.

Katherine solemnly announced, "Let me introduce you all. This is my sister Sherry. She is the woman Mr. Melville originally intended to marry and your true mistress! The other two are her parents."

Anton and the servants were all shocked, wondering if Mrs. Melville was joking with them.

Katherine's expression was serious, devoid of any hint of humor. "Alright, now you all should serve your true mistress well. I'll go upstairs to pack my things and make room for the real Mrs. Melville!"

Hearing Katherine introduce them to the ignorant servants, Sherry felt a surge of triumph. Those servants who dared to defy her earlier must be scared now after knowing her identity.

Anton, still puzzled, followed Katherine upstairs. "Mrs. Melville, what's heppening?"

Katherine waved her hand, signaling him not to follow, and said, "Anton, just ensure they are well taken care of. The rest will be decided upon Mr. Melville's return."

Anton looked worried. ''Alright."

After Katherine said she was going upstairs to pack, she didn't return downstairs.

Sherry grew impatient and wanted to check if she was really packing.

Just as she reached the stairs, Anton blocked her way and stated firmly, "Sorry, you can't go up."

Sherry glared unhappily. "Old man, you know my identity now, and you still dare to stop me?"

Anton remained unmoved. "Your identity still needs to be confirmed when Mr. Melville returns. Sorry."

The other servants were much more respectful to her, but this stubborn older man remained rigid!

Sherry gritted her teeth, rolled her eyes, and said with an air of superiority, "Fine, I won't go up. But soon, I'll be living up there! Right now, my parents and I are hungry. Tell the kitchen to prepare something excellent, and remember, everything must be of the highest quality! If you dare to fool us, I'll bring it to Mr. Melville's attention when he returns and let him handle it!"

Maintaining his composure, Anton nodded politely. "Understood. I'll make sure the meal meets your satisfaction."

If Mrs. Melville hadn't instructed him to treat them well, Anton would have wanted to kick them out long ago. He would never tolerate such arrogance in the Melville Manor!

Later that evening, when Alex returned to Melville Manor, seeing the Galatea family acting as if they owned the place was quite disconcerting.

Joshua had kicked off his shoes and was snoring loudly on the sofa.

Lillian was sitting nearby, watching TV while trimming her nails.

Sherry was eating high-end desserts made by the Melville family's chef and critiquing them. "Where did they find this chef? Does he even know how to make desserts? The chocolate mousse isn't sweet at all! I'll have to ask Mr. Melville to hire a Michelin-starred chef for me!"
