Chapter 778 It's You

Ambrosia laughed in exasperation, "So you can't keep up the mature act anymore, showing your true colors?"

Sunny didn't get angry as usual. Instead, he aggressively moved closer, almost kissing her as he spoke, "Why pretend with you?"

Ambrosia pushed his face away, "Alright! Let's go, let's get some food first!"

Sunny squinted his eyes, "Are you asking me to dinner?"

Ambrosia raised an eyebrow, "What else? Would you let me go find someone else?"

Sunny replied, "That's more like it! Since you're being so understanding, how about I treat you to dinner today?"

Ambrosia poked his shoulder with a finger, "Then hurry up and get out of my way."

Sunny finally released her.

Ambrosia straightened her clothes and started walking out, with Sunny following behind.

Just as they stepped out of the office, they ran into Frank, who was coming to see her. "Ambrosia, what are we having for lunch?"

After asking, he noticed Sunny following Ambrosia and paused, then teased, "Are you two going on a date?"

Ambrosia glanced at him indifferently, "Do you want to join us?"

Frank smiled, "Can I join? I wouldn't want to intrude."

Ambrosia understood Frank's implication but didn't mind. "The more, the merrier. Let's go together!"

Frank raised an eyebrow, glancing at Sunny behind them, "Then I'll really tag along for a free meal!"

Sunny's expression was clearly unwelcoming.

Frank noticed and, feeling bored, deliberately stayed close to Ambrosia, putting an arm around her shoulder, "Ambrosia, what do you want to eat?"

Ambrosia replied naturally, "I want Mexican food. Any objections?"

Before Frank could answer, Sunny squeezed between them, separating them, "I have no objections!"

Ambrosia glanced at him and ignored him, looking down at her phone.

Frank stood aside, secretly amused. Being a third wheel had never been this entertaining!

After the three of them exited the elevator, Ambrosia went ahead to drive.

Sunny slowed down, stopping Frank, "Don't you have anything better to do? Why insist on tagging along for a free meal?"

Frank feigned innocence, "Ambrosia invited me. You heard it too, right? Besides, Mr. Mitchell, when you're not around, Ambrosia and I often eat together. What's the problem?"

Sunny frowned seriously, "I don't care how you usually eat together. Today, I'm treating. Don't follow us!"

Frank retorted, "Mr. Mitchell, do you have to be so stingy? You can't even pay for one more person? Fine, I'll pay for my own meal!"

He then tried to bypass Sunny to find Ambrosia.

Sunny grabbed him again. "It's not about the money! Frank, if you have time, why not check on Teresa? I've been gone for three years, and you still haven't won her over. Not very impressive, are you?"

Mentioning Teresa, Frank paused, then smiled self-deprecatingly, "Thanks for your concern, but my affairs don't need your worry."

In the past three years, he had been in contact with Teresa, but there had been no further development.

Sunny deliberately shared some news, "I heard from a friend that Teresa's family is arranging blind dates for her, pushing her to get married. She's quite pessimistic about marriage now, saying she'll marry the next decent guy she meets. Frank, if you don't step up, she'll be walking down the aisle with someone else!"

Frank pondered, "Really?"

Sunny continued, "I heard she'll be at S Music Restaurant this weekend for one of those blind dates. Do you want to check it out?"

After saying this, Sunny quickly turned and ran to Ambrosia's car.

Ambrosia was waiting for Frank, but he didn't come over. Instead, he walked in the opposite direction to his own car.

Seeing Frank leave, Ambrosia frowned and glanced at Sunny, "What did you say to him?"

Sunny lazily leaned back in the passenger seat. "Nothing much. He probably has something else to do. Let's go. Didn't you want Mexican food?"

Ambrosia sighed, knowing Sunny must have said something but couldn't do anything about it.

Forget it. She stepped on the gas and drove out of the underground parking lot.

After Julian woke up, Katherine took the three kids to the nearest toy store, letting each of them pick a toy they liked.

Charles and Edith were enthusiastic, browsing through the shelves full of toys.

Julian, however, was a bit reserved, holding Katherine's hand and staying close to her.

Katherine looked down at him, "Why aren't you picking anything?"

Julian looked up at her, "Dad said I shouldn't ask for gifts from others when we're out."

Katherine felt a pang of sadness, "Am I still considered 'others' to you?"

Julian quickly shook his head, "No! You're my mommy, I trust you!"

Katherine patted his head, "Then go pick a toy! Mommy isn't 'others.' Whatever Mommy buys or gives you is what you deserve! Go on, pick a toy with Charles and Edith!"

Julian blinked his big eyes and nodded, finally letting go of Katherine's hand and seriously looking at the toys on the shelves.

Katherine stood quietly not far away, watching her three children with gentle eyes.

"You're quite good with kids!"

Hearing a voice behind her, Katherine paused and turned to see Sophia walking over in a sexy, fiery outfit.

Katherine raised an eyebrow indifferently, "Ms. Coleman, shopping for toys too?"

Sophia stopped in front of her, crossing her arms, "Yes! I'm looking for something new to keep my son entertained."

"It's usually best to bring the kids along to pick out toys. They know what they like."

"True, but my son is at home having a blast with his dad. He didn't want to come out."

Katherine's expression remained calm, "Sounds like you all are having a wonderful time together. It's really something to envy!"

Sophia squinted at her, trying to read her expression. Katherine seemed unaware of anything.

"Katherine, what do you envy about me? I'm the one who envies you for having triplets! Your house must be so lively!"
