Chapter 919 Close Your Eyes
Alex's icy gaze swept over Winford, causing him to break out in a cold sweat.
'Who is this? Why does he exude such a terrifying aura!'
After Alex's gaze swept over Winford, it settled on Katherine. The coldness in his eyes dissipated, and he raised an eyebrow, spreading his arms slightly, "Didn't miss me?"
Katherine looked at him, a thin layer of mist rising in her clear eyes, but her tone was harsh, "Where did you come from? Why didn't you reply to my messages?"
Since she didn't come over, Alex went to her, wrapped his arms around her waist, and pulled her into his embrace. He bent down and rested his chin on her shoulder, explaining in a low voice, "I threw away my phone to avoid being tracked. After escaping from the airport yesterday, I had to deal with some things. I'm sorry, I'm late again."
Katherine punched Alex's chest, her voice choked, "Bastard! I thought..."
She thought he had really gone to Markovia without a word!
Alex seemed to understand her feelings well, holding her gently and comforting her, "I won't leave, I'll never leave you again."
Katherine finally couldn't hold back. She had waited three years for this hug, and she had once thought she would never get it.

Alex responded indulgently, "Alright, we'll hit him."
Winford couldn't stand their flirting, "Are you two done yet? I don't have time to waste here with you!"
Alex still didn't look at Winford, raising his hand to gently brush Katherine's face, "Be good, wait for me in the car."
Katherine nodded and obediently turned to get in the car, shooing the three little heads back inside, "Close the windows, don't let the blood get in!"
"Who told you to get in the car, you bitch! Stop right there!" Winford stepped forward quickly to stop Katherine, but a long arm blocked him, and then a rough hand gripped his neck!
By the time he realized it, he was already struggling, his face turning purple, unable to breathe.
"Bullied my wife?"
Winford instinctively tried to pry the hand off his neck, but couldn't. He couldn't even shake his head or speak!
On the brink of death, Alex released him, but before he could catch his breath, Alex's deadly punches and kicks rained down on him!
The continuous screams and the blood on the ground scared the burly women who came with Winford, causing them to scatter!
Only Elisha stayed, crying as she watched Winford being beaten.
In the car, Katherine, George, Edith, and Charles watched the scene outside the window.
Charles and George, who knew him, were both surprised and delighted to see Alex beating up the bad guy, occasionally cheering.
Edith, seeing Alex for the first time, blinked her big eyes, filled with admiration and confusion.
Katherine watched calmly, yawning lazily, as if she thought Alex was taking too long!
When Winford was lying on the ground, unable to get up, Alex finally stopped. He pulled a handkerchief from his chest pocket, wiped his hands, and then disdainfully tossed it onto Winford, speaking slowly, "My name is Alexander Melville. If you have a problem, come find me anytime."
Hearing his name, Winford's eyes almost popped out of his head.

Alex turned around and saw his old friends Hilton and Issac getting out of the SUVs that had crashed into the cars. Hilton was holding Julian.
Alex had been so eager to find his wife that he had forgotten about Julian!
Alex walked a few steps towards them and took Julian from Hilton, "You two head back first. Let's catch up another day."
Hilton complained, "Fuck, you disappeared for three years, suddenly showed up and scared us for a whole day, then made us come with you to find Katherine. Now that you've found her, you're kicking us to the curb? Not even a meal?"
Issac shrugged, crossing his arms and nodding, almost agreeing with Hilton for the first time.
Alex really didn't have time for them, still coldly saying, "We'll catch up another day."
With that, Alex turned to get in the car with Julian.
Hilton wanted to tease him a bit more, but Issac stopped him!
"Issac, why are you stopping me? Let me curse that friend-abandoning bastard a bit more!"
"Enough! You can curse him another day! Can't you see he's in a hurry? Come with me, I'll treat you to something."
Hilton glanced at Issac, "What are you treating me to?"
Issac said, "You've had your eye on my good wine for a while, haven't you?"
"You're being so generous? Well, I won't say no to that!" Hilton laughed, shrugged, and followed Issac.
With Hilton and Issac gone, Alex put Julian in Katherine's car, then had the four kids sit in the back, signaling Katherine to sit in the front with him.
He drove away from the unpleasant scene.
After driving a short distance, the car stopped under a big tree by the roadside.
Katherine frowned, "Why are we stopping? Out of gas?"
Alex didn't answer her question. Instead, he turned around and looked at the four kids sitting in a row in the back, his tone stern, "Close your eyes, all of you!"
