Chapter 220 Taking Back the Melville Family's Gift
Watching Sherry lose her temper, Katherine just felt bored. "She yawned lazily, maintaining a faint smile as she calmly stated, "Sorry, whether you want to associate with me or not, I'm here to reclaim what's rightfully mine."
At the word "gift," Sherry's face stiffened. She frowned deeply, clearly displeased, and snapped, "Based on what?"
Katherine raised an eyebrow. "Based on what? If I remember right, that gift was sent to me by my husband, Mr. Melville. So, why shouldn't I take it?"
The term "my husband, Mr. Melville" enraged Sherry even further. How dare Katherine call Mr. Melville that! Mr. Melville was supposed to be her man, her husband, but Katherine had bewitched him.
The more she thought about it, the angrier she got. Sherry pointed at Katherine and cursed, "That's bullshit! What do you mean Mr. Melville gave it to you? That gift is clearly mine, given to me by the Melville family! You, you shameless bitch, stole my man, and now you want to take my gift too! How dare you! Katherine, I'm warning you, don't go too far!"
Sherry had already lost the man of her dreams and couldn't afford to lose those precious gifts too!

Katherine smiled faintly. "Lillian, I've never coveted other people's things since I was a child, but I absolutely don't like others taking what's mine! Mr. Melville sent the gift, and as his wife, I have the right to take it back!"
Lillian snorted disdainfully, "Oh, please! Don't use Mr. Melville to pressure me! That Mr. Melville was supposed to be my Sherry's man. If it weren't for your meddling, Sherry would be the real Mrs. Melville now!"
Mentioning this made both Lillian and Sherry furious!
Katherine felt helpless towards the mother and daughter's delusional confidence. Even now, they still believed that Alex originally intended to marry Sherry?!
Alex's taste wasn't that low.
At this moment, Joshua had just woken up from his nap and came downstairs yawning.
Hearing the commotion at the door, Joshua walked over to see what was happening.
The moment he saw who it was, Joshua's eyebrows shot up. "Katherine, it's you! How dare you come back!"

As he spoke, Joshua raised his hand and aimed a slap at Katherine's face.
