Chapter 35 Exposing Her True Colors
Katherine felt that he was quite honest and was about to give a reply. But Jonathan interrupted her with a smile, "Wait, don't be in a hurry to answer. If you have a strong stance, but I keep pestering you, wouldn't it make me shameless?"
He thought to himself, 'Based on this girl's previous reactions, she would never agree with me. Not even out of politeness.'
Katherine was slightly taken aback and suddenly felt that this man was quite clever.
"Katherine?" Jonathan tried calling her name. Katherine, who was busy eating dessert, looked up at him.
Jonathan smiled and said, "It's okay, I'm just confirming your name."
"Yes, I'm Katherine." "Katherine, that's a lovely name. You're also lovely, but it seems like there's a bit of a mismatch between your name and your personality."
Katherine furrowed her brows and glared at him.
Seeing that she was a bit unhappy, Jonathan couldn't help but chuckle and said, "By the way, there's a gallery opening for the first time today. Are you interested in taking a look? Would you like to go with me?"

Katherine still shook her head and replied, "Thank you for the invitation, but I have to go home." She thought to herself, 'Madam Melville has made delicious fish soup, waiting for me to go back and drink it!'
Jonathan looked at his watch; it wasn't even 4 o'clock in the afternoon yet. "You're going home so early? I didn't expect you to be such a well-behaved girl!"
Katherine ignored him as she received several messages on her phone in a row. It was a message from Frank.
[Katherine, I've discovered authentic works by Lotus again!]
[And they are three masterpieces that have never been publicly exhibited since Lotus's death!]
[Sparrow, Night Cat, Cloud, and Crane!]
Katherine was very interested. She typed and asked: [Where are the paintings?]
Frank immediately replied: [They are being exhibited in a private gallery today, but the owner of that gallery only invited his family and friends; we don't have the qualifications to visit. Katherine, why don't you ask Mr. Melville if he was invited?]
Katherine frowned and asked: [Who is the owner of the gallery?]
Frank replied: [Jonathan, the heir of the Mostow family. He recently returned to the country to inherit the family business, and the artworks being exhibited today are said to be his private collection, only to be exhibited once!]
Katherine's brows gradually furrowed. She looked up at the man sitting across from her. "Jonathan?"

Jonathan nodded and said, "Yes."
Katherine blinked. "I now agree to go with you. Is it still possible?"
Jonathan was slightly taken aback and smiled, "Of course! But why the sudden change of heart?" "I thought about it and realized there's nothing for me at home, so I might as well go with you to see the paintings and broaden my horizons."
"Alright, shall we go now?" So, Katherine followed Jonathan out of the cafe and got into his car. In a corner unnoticed by anyone, someone secretly pressed the shutter button! After Jonathan's car started, a bright orange sports car followed them all the way.
"Keep up with them!" The driver, Furry, asked in confusion, "Mr. Mitchell, why are we following the heir of the Mostow family?"
Sitting in the passenger seat, Sunny tapped Furry's head and said, "Fool! I'm not following Jonathan; I'm following the woman next to him!"
Furry was surprised and asked, "Mr. Mitchell, are you interested in Mr. Mostow's woman?"
Sunny tapped his head again and said, "Nonsense! Can I be interested in such an ugly woman? I'm not blind!" Furry scratched his head, feeling a bit puzzled.
He thought to himself, 'That girl is not ugly at all! Even from a distance, I just looked at Mr. Mitchell; I found her very beautiful! She is pure and lovely, like a little elf.'
Sunny frowned, leaning back in his seat with a serious expression, arms crossed. "That ugly woman is the one who recently married Alex!"
Furry was taken aback and said with more concern, "Mr. Mitchell, if you like Mr. Melville's woman, then it's even better!"
If Furry wasn't driving, Sunny really wanted to kick him in the head with her foot! "How could I like her! I'm going to expose the true face of that ugly woman today, let Alex see her clearly, and help my sister win Alex back!"
Furry said helplessly, "Mr. Mitchell, it's because of the grudges between our Mitchell family and the Melville family in the previous generation that Ms. Mitchell and Mr. Melville can't be together; it has nothing to do with anyone else."

He took out his phone and sent the high-definition photo he just took of Katherine and Jonathan getting into the car together to Alex!
Ten minutes passed, and Sunny still hadn't received a response from Alex. The more Sunny thought about it, the more anxious he became, but he didn't dare to call Alex, so he called someone else instead. "Fiona, it's me! Sunny."
Fiona, on the other end of the phone, sounded puzzled and asked, "Sunny, what's up? Why did you suddenly think of calling me?"
Sunny said in a serious tone, "Fiona, I've discovered Katherine's affair, and I'm tracking her!" Fiona exclaimed in surprise, "What?"
"Katherine is sitting in another man's car. The two of them might be going to a hotel now! I'm following them closely! However, I need a witness from your Melville family for this. Fiona, can you come over now?"

Fiona said excitedly, "Great! Sunny, I will definitely come over to help!" "Okay, I will send you their location in a moment!"
Sunny thought for a moment and added, "You'd better bring your grandmother with you so we can publicly shame Katherine!"
