Chapter 180 The World's Number One Hacker

Katherine was preparing to clear all the illegal information exposing her personal details online when a virtual ID named 'RadiantSunrise' suddenly appeared, sending three excited emojis in a row.

This 'RadiantSunrise' was actually Mr. Mitchell from the Mitchell family.

After the recent series of events, Katherine had even less favorable feelings towards the Mitchell family. She replied indifferently: [What's up?]

RadiantSunrise: [My friend has been slandered. Sir, can you help clear her name? The defamatory content about her isn't true! I've already enlisted the help of our AJ Association brothers, but our skills aren't up to par.]

Katherine raised an eyebrow in surprise. Sunny, the overprotective brother, actually wanted to help her behind the scenes. That was crazy!

Katherine remembered Sunny's disappointed face at the hospital that day and how he had pointed at her and cursed.

She was genuinely curious and typed back: [Isn't the slandered Katherine your sister's rival? I remember you used to curse her all the time. Why is she your friend now?]

RadiantSunrise messaged: [Yes, she's my sister's rival, but she's not a bad person. She even helped me a lot despite our past grudges. Recently, my brother Bernard and sister Scarlett misunderstood her, almost causing her to go to jail. I feel really guilty and can't watch her be wronged like this. Sir, please help me! I'm begging you!]

Sunny, though a bit spoiled, was better than the hypocritical Bernard. At least Sunny knew right from wrong and could reflect on his actions.

How could Katherine not help herself?

So she went along with it and replied with a single word: [Okay.]

RadiantSunrise was ecstatic: [Great! Thank you, Sir!]

Not three seconds later, RadiantSunrise realized something: [Wait, Sir, how did you know the Katherine I wanted you to help is my sister's rival? I don't mention who it was!]

Katherine started working and didn't plan to respond.

RadiantSunrise sent another starry-eyed emoji: [Rabbit, as expected of one of the world's top hackers, you really know everything!]

Katherine was silent.

Was this the logic of a brainless fan?

Sunny was really blindly worshiping her!

Katherine typed rapidly, inputting a series of complex codes, and directly entered the backend.

Sunny didn't have the skills to infiltrate the control system; he could only follow Rabbit's ID and tag along.

Katherine opened the backend search engine, ready to delete the related defamatory posts with one click.

However, she found that the search results were empty; all the defamatory posts had already been cleared?!

The internet was now completely clean, including the posts that exposed her school, phone number, and home address.

Katherine found it strange and asked RadiantSunrise: [Have you guys already delete all the related stuff?]

RadiantSunrise replied: [No! We tried for hours and couldn't delete them! What's going on? How did those posts disappear? They really got deleted clean!]

Katherine frowned slightly. If it wasn't Sunny and his group, then who could it be?

Few people could infiltrate such a highly encrypted system and remotely control it as she could!

Who would take such a risky action for her?

RadiantSunrise noticed someone was hacking the edited 'Katherine extortion' videos circulating online. Within seconds, those false videos were all hacked and rendered unplayable.

Katherine squinted and saw that the encrypted hacker ID was...

RadiantSunrise, clueless as ever, sent a message to the unknown hacker, asking: [Who are you?]

The hacker ignored Sunny and focused on his task.

Katherine came to her senses and typed a few words: [Lion, long time no see.]

A few seconds later, the other party replied: [Long time no see.]

This brief exchange left Sunny so shocked his head nearly fell off!

Lion still ignored Sunny.

Katherine didn't respond to him either.

Lion, known as the top hacker, had won the global hacking competition ten years in a row with overwhelming victories.

When Katherine started participating in hacking competitions, Lion had already retired, so they never met as opponents on the field.

However, because her performance in the global hacking competition was equally outstanding, Rabbit and Lion were often compared.

Two years ago, they met once at a global hacker offline forum.

Hackers were wary of exposing their offline identities, so everyone attended the forum fully masked, wearing voice changers, making it impossible to recognize each other's real appearance or even gender.

That was the first time she and Lion met. They exchanged views and found that they shared many similar opinions, becoming friends.

However, their friendship was based solely on mutual admiration for each other's skills, with no interest in each other's offline identities.

But this time, the rarely-online Lion personally stepped in to help her, which surprised Katherine.

Lion didn't know her real identity was Katherine, so why would he help her?

At this moment, RadiantSunrise was still excitedly jumping around in the chat: [I can't believe I encountered both Rabbit and Lion online today. I witnessed the meeting of the world's top two hackers! I'm witnessing history!!!]

No one cared about RadiantSunrise's self-indulgent joy.

Katherine directly ignored 'RadiantSunrise' and asked Lion: [Do you know Katherine being slandered online?]

Lion replied: [Why do you ask? Do you know her too?]

The word 'too' seemed to imply he knew Katherine, but it was uncertain.

Katherine was a bit surprised but didn't want to reveal her identity, so she replied: [I don't know her. Someone just asked me to help delete her posts. So, how do you know Katherine?]

Lion messaged: [You seem very curious about her.]
