Chapter 21 Damsel in Distress

"You shameless person!"

Teresa raised her hand to slap him, but Hank intercepted it in advance!

Hank, instead of getting angry, smirked. "Teresa, you'd better behave and marry me. Don't force me, I can do anything!"

"You're dreaming! I would never marry someone like you, even if I die!" Teresa's eyes turned crimson with anger as she saw through Hank's true nature, feeling utterly disgusted.

However, her wrist was tightly held by him, preventing her from pulling away or striking him.

Hank, with a twisted smile, continued, "Aren't you afraid that your nude photos will be uploaded to major online platforms, and then..."
Suddenly, a resounding slap landed on Hank's face!

He was sent spinning and crashed into the mural in the corridor.

Katherine, disdainfully, dusted her hands off. "Trash!"

This scene left Teresa in shock.

Hank's vision darkened, and he shook his head to see that the one who had struck him was a bridesmaid. "Who do you think you are? How dare you hit me!"

Katherine sneered, "Shouldn't I hit a scumbag like you, who takes advantage of every opportunity, threatens his girlfriend with intimate photos, and has been in a relationship for three years?"

"Bitch, it's none of your business!" Hank raised his hand to strike back.

However, Katherine grabbed his arm with one hand and twisted it backward. With a crack, his bone snapped without a doubt!

Hank screamed in pain and looked at the seemingly gentle Katherine in shock. "Is she really a woman? How can she be this strong?"

Teresa snapped back to reality and rushed over, fiercely kicking Hank twice. "My three years of youth wasted on you, you scumbag!"

Katherine, yawning, held Hank in place with her other hand, allowing Teresa to use him as a punching bag...

Not far away, Alexander stood with his hands in his pockets, calmly observing.

Hilton exclaimed, clapping his hands, "Alex, your girl is quite something! But I'm starting to worry if you'll be a victim of domestic violence in the future."

Alexander glanced at Hilton, his expression turning slightly stern, and said, "Have you all had enough drama?"

Teresa stopped, her eyes red and watery, as she looked at Alexander with a sense of grievance. "Uncle, he betrayed me and threatened me..."

Katherine felt it was almost over, so she let go of Hank, who had already been scratched by Teresa and stretched her arms lazily.

Unexpectedly, Hank suddenly got up, grabbed a vase from the hallway, and threw it at Katherine. "Bitch! Mind your own business!"

Alexander was shocked. He quickly stepped forward, pulling Katherine behind him. Then, he forcefully kicked Hank, knocking him down!

With his expensive shoes, Alexander trampled on Hank's hypocritical face, looking down at him. "Are you looking for trouble?"

Pale with fear, Hank stammered, "Mr. Melville..."

Hilton walked over slowly. "Does the Walker family not want to be involved in Janetrick anymore? Alex's people dare to bully them!"

Hank was taken aback. "Mr. Melville's people?"

He didn't dare to lay a hand on Teresa because of Alexander's presence, but he didn't expect Alexander to protect the bridesmaid as well!

"Mr. Melville, I just don't want to be separated from Teresa. I hope she can give me another chance..."

Alexander narrowed his eyes. "So, you resorted to blackmailing her with intimate photos?"

Hank looked guilty. "I... I had no other choice! Mr. Melville, I really can't be without Teresa. I can't lose her!"

Hilton laughed. "Is it her that you can't lose or the inheritance of the Walker family?"

Hank's face froze. "I..."

"So that's how it is!" Teresa cried in Alexander's arms. "Hank has always been using me..."

Alexander supported Teresa and coldly ordered, "Take him away, and don't dirty the corridors of Moonlight Manor!"

"Yes!" Leander instructed someone to escort Hank away...

Alexander helplessly held Teresa, who was still crying and looked at Katherine. He asked in a somewhat stern tone, "Are you injured?"

Katherine shook her head lightly. "Thank you for your concern; I'm fine!"

At this moment, Ruth was hiding around the corner of the corridor, witnessing everything that had just happened.

She was deeply captivated by Alexander's powerful presence. He was wealthy, influential, and incredibly handsome - the perfect husband she had always dreamed of!

However, to her dismay, Katherine had managed to capture Alexander's attention and be his damsel in distress!

Ruth thought to herself, "That bitch really knows how to make herself noticed in front of wealthy men!"

"I can't let her succeed!"

After some consideration, Ruth bit her lip and rushed out in tears. "Ms. Harris, I've been wronged! You can't let Katherine deceive you!"

Teresa turned to look at Ruth, furrowing her brows. She wiped away her tears and scolded, "If you hadn't shown up, I would have almost forgotten about you, you bitch!"

Ruth remained composed and pointed at Katherine, speaking earnestly, "Ms. Harris, it wasn't me! It was her, she's the one who seduced your groom! The voices in the video were all synthesized by her, please believe me! She knows how to manipulate computers and is framing me..."

Teresa approached Ruth, displeased. "Are you also involved in this mess? Do you know who she is to me?"

Ruth was taken aback. "Who is she?"

She's just a part-time bridesmaid!

Teresa kicked Ruth and said, "Let me tell you, she would never stoop so low as to seduce that trash Hank. She is my..."

"Good friend! We are good friends!" Katherine interrupted, not wanting too many people to know about her three-month relationship with Alexander.

"Yes, we are good friends!" Teresa agreed, standing tall. "Leander, spread the word that any company hiring this woman will have to deal with me, my uncle, and the Harris family!"

Leander nodded, "Yes, Ms. Harris."

Ruth panicked and quickly pleaded, "Ms. Harris, I was wrong; please spare me!"

Teresa ignored her, so Ruth begged Katherine, "Katherine, as colleagues, please speak up for me!"

Before Katherine could say anything, Teresa grabbed her and said, "Let's go, don't mind this woman!"

Ruth wanted to plead with Alexander. She clung to his leg and cried, "Mr. Melville, please have mercy on me..."

Alexander didn't even spare her a glance. He walked past her with a cold expression, following the two girls ahead.

Ruth stood there dumbfounded, pounding her chest and stomping her feet. "What is going on? How can Katherine and Teresa, two wealthy young ladies, be friends? And Mr. Melville even helped her!"

Meanwhile, Hank, who had been beaten and nearly lost his life, staggered back. When he saw Ruth running towards him, he slapped her and shouted, "You wretch! I'll kill you!"

Ruth screamed and tried to run, but she was pinned down and searched...

Hank found a bank card with $40,000 on it and prepared to take it!

Ruth quickly grabbed it and said, "That's my breakup fee! How can you take it back?"

"You ruined my wedding, caused me to lose my inheritance, and now you want a breakup fee? Disgusting!" Hank spat at her and said, "Go to hell!"

In the car on the way back to the Melville Manor.

Alexander sat lazily, reviewing the documents in his hand, and asked in a low voice, "Did you do it?"

Katherine, sounding tired, replied, "Huh? What?"

"The surveillance video on the wedding screen."
