Chapter 139 The Brave Little Girl Saved the Elder Man

"I won't move. And what can you do about it?" The girl looked Katherine up and down with a defiant gaze, feeling even more annoyed when she found Katherine stunningly beautiful.

However, looking weak and timid, Katherine didn't seem like a threat at all!

The blogger had an idea. She picked up her phone, still attached to the selfie stick, and started live streaming again.

She put on a pitiful face and cried to her viewers on the livestream, "Guys, please help me! I just encountered a scammer! The old man and his granddaughter behind me smashed my car for no reason, and then the old man fell to the ground, trying to extort me! Please, you have to testify for me."

The girl deliberately lowered the selfie stick so that the camera wouldn'tshow her car was parked on the tactile paving.

Katherine quietly watched the female blogger's shameless behavior. Without saying anything, she first helped the blind older man to a safer spot and told him not to move to avoid getting hurt if things got physical.

Then, Katherine turned and walked towards the female blogger.

She couldn't stand the blogger's lies any longer. With a swift motion, Katherine grabbed the selfie stick and snapped it in half, throwing both the stick and the phone far away.

That girl yelled out, "Ah! My phone! My stick!"

The girl went crazy with anger, rolled up her sleeves, and cursed, "You bitch, how dare you smash my phone! You're dead! I'm gonna teach you a lesson!"

With that, she dropped her pitiful act from the livestream and swung her hand toward Katherine's face.

Katherine easily caught her wrist and twisted it back hard!

The girl screamed in pain and shouted, "Ah! Help me!"

Katherine raised an eyebrow. "Teach me a lesson? You need more practice!"

The girl gritted her teeth in pain but still refused to back down. "Let me tell you, I'm a big influencer with lots of followers who will defend me. You'll regret crossing me today!"

Katherine remained unfazed. "First, you need to act like a decent person! Parking your car on tactile paving affects the movement of visually impaired people. Don't you know that? And you even tried to harm a blind old man! Do you think your followers will still support you if they find out what kind of person you really are?"

Unable to fight back and rendered speechless by Katherine's words, the female blogger stammered, "I..."

Katherine lost her patience and coldly demanded, "I'll ask you one more time: are you going to move the car or not?"

"Fine! I'll move it! Just let go of me, and I'll move it right now," she then said.

The girl finally gave in, and Katherine released her grip. As she walked towards her car, the blogger's eyes darted around, plotting her revenge.

Suddenly, she spotted a piece of the broken selfie stick on the ground. Her eyes lit up, and she quickly bent down to pick it up, then viciously lunged at the blind older man!

She scolded, "You jerk, how dare you smash my car!"

Seeing the danger, Katherine quickly stepped in front of the old man and kicked the crazed blogger away! The blogger fell but quickly got up again, her face twisted with rage, and ran towards them, trying to attack with the broken end of the selfie stick.

Katherine's eyes narrowed. She thought, 'Here she comes again!'

Instinctively, she spread her arms to protect the old man behind her, ready to kick the blogger again.

Just then, a group of men dressed in black appeared grandly!

They surrounded and protected Katherine and the old man while two of them went over to subdue the furious blogger!

The blogger was initially startled, then began to struggle and shout, "Who are you? Why are you grabbing me? Let go of me."

The leader of the men gave the blogger a cold glare before turning to walk into the circle of his men. He respectfully bowed to the old man and said with a worried expression, "Master, we finally found you! Are you alright? You really shouldn't be out here alone! The young master sent people everywhere to look for you; he was so worried!"

The old man snorted arrogantly, "You all keep me locked up at home all the time. Can't I even go out for a walk?"

The leader looked helpless. "The young master is worried about your well-being. Your eyes aren't in good condition now, and he's afraid something might happen to you if you go out."

The old man stood straight, his face stern and stubborn, typical of an older man acting like a child. "In this world, it's the grandfather who desciplines the grandson, not the other way around!"

The leader had no choice but to take out his phone and report the situation to his superior, "Young Master, we've found the Old Master! Yes, he's at Whispering Ripple."

Soon, a top-of-the-line extended Cadillac pulled up and slowly stopped by the roadside.

Seeing the car, the leader in black immediately ran over, bent down, and opened the door. A tall, well-built man stepped out of the car with deliberate grace.

The man stood up straight, exuding the elegance of a noble gentleman. Dressed in a finely tailored, expensive silver-gray suit, he walked with steady steps, his handsome and dignified appearance captivating everyone around.

The onlookers were stunned, unable to move, as they rarely saw such a strikingly handsome and elegant man, even on television!

The man walked straight towards the blind old man, each step resonating with the hearts of the young women watching. His relaxed confidence and undeniable charm radiated from him.

He said, "Grandfather, if you keep running off like this, I would send you to a fully enclosed nursing home."

His voice was gentle, but his tone carried an unyielding threat.

The old man glared with his sightless eyes, still exuding authority, and heavily tapped his cane on the ground. "I dare you!"

The man in the silver-gray suit remained calm, his tone respectful, and smiled. "You know I take after you the most. I mean what I say."

Though the old man had a bit of a temper, he had to consider the consequences when facing his eldest grandson, whose temperament was even more formidable than his own in his younger days. After all, he didn't want to end up in a fully enclosed nursing home!

Clearing his throat, the old man deliberately changed the subject. "You arrived just in time. There was a crazy woman here who parked her car on the tactile paving and tried to hit me. Fortunately, a brave young lady protected me! You must thank that young lady properly for me!"
