Chapter 932 Just Forgive Him Like That?
Nora understood Brent's character and knew it would be difficult to get him to apologize voluntarily, but she still wanted to try to persuade him.
"Cole, you know very well that it was wrong for Sophia to keep Alex Melville by her side for three years! He has a wife and children, and Sophia forcibly separated them. No matter how you look at it, our family owes him an apology! It's not a big deal to apologize!"
Brent's face was stern, "Even so, if he wants to settle accounts with me, let him come! I'm not afraid of him! Apologize? Impossible!"

Brent's frown deepened, "What did you say? You dare to despise me!"
Linda raised her chin, "Yes, I despise you! I despise you for helping Sophia do bad things, for not correcting your mistakes, and for not putting aside your pride to apologize to Mr. Melville whom you hurt! You always teach me to be a good child, but you can't do it yourself! If I don't despise you, who should I despise!"
Brent's face turned extremely grim, and he couldn't say a word in rebuttal.
Linda continued, "Dad, I actually admire you a lot most of the time! But in this matter of blindly supporting Sophia and helping her, I can't appreciate you, and I even dislike you a bit! If you don't apologize to Katherine and Alex for your mistakes, then I won't talk to you anymore! I don't want to acknowledge having a dad like this! Anyway, you don't care about me at all; all you care about is Sophia!"
After saying that, Linda coolly turned around and headed back to her room!
Brent frowned, watching Linda's back, a deep sense of shame shaking his resolve, "Stop!"
Linda stopped, still angry, "What? Are you going to lecture me with your misguided values again?"
Brent took a deep breath, "Come over here and stay with your mom, I'll change my clothes and go with you."
Linda turned around in surprise to look at Brent, and so did Nora.
After a complex internal struggle, Brent reluctantly decided to follow Nora and Linda's advice. He got up and went to change his clothes.
Actually, the clothes he was wearing were already the ones he had changed into to go out, but he wanted some time to buffer himself!
Seeing Brent go to change his clothes, Linda ran to Nora's side, "Mom, iIt looks like Dad knows he was wrong! He's going to apologize to Katherine and Alex!"
Nora smiled with relief, "Yes!"
Brent had always known he was wrong, but he was too determined to protect Sophia, stubbornly refusing to admit it.
Hopefully, Katherine and Trevor could be magnanimous and forgive Cole.
When Brent came out of the room, he had changed into a suit that wasn't much different from the one he had been wearing.
Linda ran over and took Brent's hand, "Let's go, Dad, let's go find Katherine and Alex together."
Nora also walked over, with a gentle smile on her face, "Cole, let's go!"
Brent cleared his throat and responded with a grunt.
At the hospital.
While Katherine was talking with Claire, Alex quietly sat on the side peeling apples for the mother and daughter.
Katherine told him not to move his arm, but he didn't listen, saying it was fine.
Because his arm was injured, he didn't go to the company in the afternoon and had his subordinates handle some matters.
Time passed quickly, and as Katherine was thinking about what takeout to order for dinner with Claire, there was a knock on the door.
Alex got up to open the door and found himself face-to-face with Brent, his expression instantly turning cold.
Brent's face didn't look good either. He looked Alex up and down, finally fixing his gaze on Alex's legs, and snorted. "Your legs are fine now, you were quite the actor before!"
Alex narrowed his eyes, "With you people, do I need to be genuine?"
Brent was about to make another sarcastic remark when Nora quickly tugged on his arm, "Mr. Melville, I brought him to apologize to you and Katherine!"
Apologize? Alex sneered, not believing Brent had the awareness to do so.
In the end, he just nodded at Nora and turned back to Katherine.
Nora pulled Brent into the room and closed the door.
When Katherine saw Brent, her eyes immediately showed a few traces of vigilance.
Nora's warm smile carried a bit of awkwardness, "Katherine, we brought you dinner, you and Claire should eat something first."
Linda ran over with a food box and handed it to Katherine, "Katherine, here! It's really good!"
Katherine took the food box and placed it on the cabinet beside her, then smiled coldly, "Mrs. Coleman, you came back just in time. I was just thinking about what takeout to order for dinner, and you brought it!"
Nora smiled awkwardly, "Then don't order takeout! Eat while it's hot! I didn't know what you liked, so I ordered a few dishes according to Claire's taste."
Katherine smiled faintly, "No rush to eat. Mrs. Coleman, you brought Brent here, you must have something to say to us, right?"
Nora nodded honestly, "Katherine, he came specifically to apologize to you and Mr. Melville! These three years, he caused your family to split, it was our fault, we're really sorry! Cole, quickly apologize to them!"
Brent's face was stern, without any hint of apology.
Linda tugged on Brent's hand, "Dad, say it! You need to set a good example for me!"
Brent looked down at Linda, then reluctantly said, "Sorry, these three years have caused you two a lot of trouble, it was my fault, I'm very sorry!"
Brent spoke quickly, without any tone of apology.
Katherine glanced at Alex, and they exchanged a knowing look.
Then Katherine raised her eyebrows and looked at Brent, whose face showed no remorse, finally fixing her gaze on Nora, "So, Mrs. Coleman, you hope we just forgive him like that?"
