Chapter 877 You Think I Would Cry?
Sophia crossed her arms. "So what if he is? He doesn't remember you now and won't go back with you!"
Katherine raised an eyebrow. "Wanna bet?"
With that, she turned to walk towards Trevor, but Sophia grabbed her again. "What do you think you're doing? Stay away from my husband!"
"What? Are you scared? Aren't you sure he doesn't remember me and won't leave with me?"
Sophia's face twisted with anger as she gripped Katherine's arm tightly, "He's my husband now, and I have the right to keep other women away from him!"
While Sophia and Katherine were arguing in the distance, Trevor and Jonathan were also looking at each other.
Seeing Alex reappear, Jonathan was undoubtedly surprised. After a moment of shock, he squinted and greeted, "Alex, long time no see."
Trevor's cold eyes showed no emotion, and his tone was equally indifferent, "Do we know each other?"
Jonathan smiled, "So you really have amnesia, huh?"
Trevor remained indifferent, not speaking, silently glancing sideways at Katherine and Sophia as they conversed.
Jonathan also looked towards Katherine, "We've all been worried about you these past few years, but it looks like you've been doing quite well, even started a family out there!"
A hint of barely noticeable sarcasm flashed in Trevor's eyes as he asked, "Who do you mean by 'we'?"
Jonathan replied with an ambiguous smile, "Katherine and me, of course! And your family and other friends."
Trevor's eyes narrowed slightly, "You guys keep in touch often?"
Jonathan shrugged and smiled, "Yeah! We keep in touch often. It's not easy for Katherine to raise children alone, and she needs a man around! So, whenever I have time, I go over to keep her company and help with the children."
Trevor's eyes grew more serious, but his face remained emotionless.
Jonathan, however, teased, "Alex, even with amnesia, you still like to get jealous? Besides, you don't seem to have the right to be jealous now, do you? Aren't you with Sophia?"
Trevor's icy gaze swept over Jonathan's probing face. After a moment of silence, he said in a deep voice, "You'd better take your friend away. Sophia and I need to take Julian to the next stop."
Jonathan stared at him, sensing a hint of warning in Trevor's words. After thinking for a moment, he walked towards Katherine and Sophia.
Julian stood quietly beside Trevor, wanting to run to Katherine but remembering Trevor's instructions: no intimate actions with Katherine when Sophia was around. So, he obediently stood by.
Katherine and Sophia were still negotiating when Jonathan walked over with a smile, intervening between them.
"Katherine, what are you two talking about? Why so long?"
At this moment, Sophia's hand was still gripping Katherine's arm tightly, not allowing her to approach Trevor.
Hearing Jonathan's voice, both Katherine and Sophia turned to look at him.
Jonathan stood in front of them, glancing down at Sophia's hand, which was almost pinching Katherine's arm, and frowned with displeasure, "What kind of topic is so intense that it got physical?"
As he spoke, he naturally pulled Katherine to his side, looking at the red marks on her arm with concern, and smiled, "Even if old friends are catching up, there's no need to be so rough! Look, you've left red marks on Katherine's arm!"
Jonathan's protective gesture towards Katherine was anything but innocent.
Katherine naturally found it very repulsive.
But Sophia was quite pleased, observing the distance between them, "Mr. Mostow, I'm sorry! I was just so happy to see Katherine after so many years that I didn't control my strength and hurt your girlfriend!"
Jonathan was more than willing to acknowledge the girlfriend beside him, acting like a considerate boyfriend, "It's okay, I know you girls like to hold each other's arms and hands when you meet. I get it! It's been so long, I originally wanted to invite you all for a meal to catch up, but Alex seems eager to take Julian to the next stop, so let's not disturb them today. We'll get together another time!"
Sophia was more than happy to agree, "Sure! We won't disturb your time with Katherine then. We'll leave first!"
With that, Sophia waved at Katherine and quickly walked towards Trevor.
Katherine frowned and loudly stopped her, "Wait! Don't go! Stop."
Jonathan pulled her back, advising, "Katherine, they have a schedule to keep. Let's not disturb them! Be good."
Katherine shouted, "Let go of me! I need to ask him why..."
Hearing Katherine's shouting behind her, Sophia quickened her pace, said a few words to Trevor, and hurriedly pushed him and Julian back to the RV, quickly leaving.
Watching the RV leave, Katherine continued to struggle and shout, "Come back! You can't leave! Come back, come back."
The RV was out of sight, and Jonathan gently advised her, "Katherine, calm down, don't be like this! They've been together for three years now."
Confirming the RV was gone, Katherine's face calmed down, showing no signs of agitation or sadness. She shrugged Jonathan's hand off her, "Alright, let's go! I understand your vision for Silvershade Vale, no need to stay any longer!"
This time, Jonathan was surprised. Did Katherine adjust her mindset so quickly? Was she really okay now?
"Katherine, are you alright?" Jonathan asked tentatively.
Katherine replied calmly, "I'm fine! I'm hungry. Let's grab a meal and then head back to our companies!"
Her calmness made Jonathan feel something was off, so he asked, "Seeing Alex after three years, you don't feel anything?"
Katherine said, "Didn't you just tell me to calm down? Now that I am, you think it's not normal?"
As she spoke, she turned and walked towards the car, as calm and composed as ever.
Jonathan frowned and followed her. "I told you to calm down, but you did it too quickly! I thought you..."
"Thought I would cry?" Katherine sneered.
Jonathan didn't deny it. "You've been waiting for him to come back all these years. Now that you see him with Sophia, you accept it so easily?"
Katherine said, "You knew I was waiting for him, yet you pretended to be my boyfriend and caused misunderstandings? And then you tried to stop me from going after him?"
