Chapter 806 What Are You Going to Do?

Katherine plopped down on the edge of the bed, "It's the weekend. No work, nothing to do. I'm bored."

Trevor's brow furrowed again, "Next time, don't come in the morning. I know you're agile, but climbing through the window every time is dangerous. Be careful."

Katherine swung her leg nonchalantly. "If I dare to come, it means I know how not to get caught!"

Trevor sighed, clearly frustrated. "Fine, I can't stop you. Do whatever you want."

Katherine squinted at him, "Are you angry?"

Trevor's expression was serious as he maneuvered his wheelchair to the floor-to-ceiling window, quietly looking outside, "No."

Katherine walked over, turning his wheelchair to face her, "Hey! Are you seriously mad at me?"

Trevor looked up at her, "Why would I be mad? You're just doing what you want to do. Who am I to stop you, right?"

Katherine pinched his chin, "Still saying you're not mad? With that expression, you're clearly cursing me in your heart!"

Trevor remained expressionless, "No, this is just my normal face."

Katherine chuckled, "Come on! I've seen all your expressions. How could I not know if you're mad?"

Trevor felt frustrated. He couldn't stand up and couldn't remember the past, like being stuck in a quagmire with no way out.

Katherine, tired of bending over, squatted in front of him, resting her chin in her hands, "Are you mad because I came to see you early in the morning, or because I came through the balcony? Or maybe, because I interrupted your alone time with Sophia?"

Seeing her cute demeanor, Trevor's frustration dissipated a lot, "I'm mad at myself for not being able to protect you and the children."

Katherine smiled, "Then you should be mad at yourself!"

Trevor thought she would at least try to comfort him, but instead, she confirmed it. "Are you here just to make me feel worse?"

Katherine tilted her head, "Of course not! Alex, didn't you understand my subtext just now?"

Trevor's brow furrowed slightly, "Your subtext?"

Katherine said frankly, "When you asked why I came at this time, and I answered, didn't you get it?"

Seeing his confused face, Katherine rubbed her head and pouted, "Alex, what I meant was that I missed you! Do I have to say it so directly?"

Trevor was momentarily stunned, his heart trembling.

Was Katherine deliberately teasing him to see his reaction?

"Even if you miss me, you have to consider the practical situation," Trevor said gently.

Katherine looked at him resentfully, "At this moment, shouldn't you say you missed me too? Who wants to hear you lecturing me!"

Trevor had a mocking smile on his lips, "How do you know I missed you?"

Katherine stood up and shrugged, "Well, you don't even remember me, how could you miss me? I just love wishful thinking."

Trevor caught a hint of sadness in her expression and gently reached out to hold her hand, "Even though I don't remember the old you, I've been thinking about you a lot these past few days."

Katherine looked at him, her dim eyes lighting up slightly, "What have you been thinking about?"

Trevor admitted, "I've been thinking about how you looked when you first appeared and grabbed my neck, and how you kissed my cheek that day."

Katherine teased, "That's it? I thought you were attracted to my charm and fell in love with me again even without remembering me!"

She was joking.

However, Trevor slightly raised his head, looking at her deeply, "Maybe that's exactly what's happening."

Katherine was stunned, curiosity flickering in her eyes, "Trevor, are you really that quick to fall for someone?"

Trevor's temper flared, and he pulled her into his arms.

Although Trevor's legs were immobile, his upper body strength was formidable.

Katherine didn't have time to react and was forced to sit on his lap, tightly held by his arms.

"Katherine, even though I don't remember you, there's something about you that feels incredibly familiar. It's not love at first sight, more like a deep sense of recognition. But I have to admit, I'm very intrigued by you."

Katherine struggled a bit, finding she couldn't break free from his arms, so she gave up.

She didn't mind his touch, but she was concerned about putting pressure on his legs, considering his condition.

But since Trevor was holding her so tightly, his legs shouldn't be uncomfortable, so she let it be.

"Alright, Alex! I believe you! Loosen up a bit, don't hold me so tight, it's uncomfortable."

Alex smelled the faint scent on her, feeling even more familiar and wanting to be closer, unwilling to let go, instinctively holding her tighter, "Just a little longer, please. Then you should go."

Katherine let him hold her, "You're not worried about being caught now, huh?"

Trevor glanced at the door, "I locked it."

Katherine glanced at the door, thoughtfully, "Alex, Sophia's father is here. Won't you have even less time for rehab training now?"

Trevor frowned, this was exactly what he was worried about.

He knew Brent would come, but didn't expect him to come so soon!

Katherine thought for a moment, then said to Trevor, "Don't worry, I'll find a way to keep Brent and Sophia busy, giving you time for rehab."

Trevor squinted, "What are you going to do?"

Katherine already had a plan, "You'll find out then!"

Trevor was worried about her, about to ask more when the door handle suddenly turned.

Both of them immediately became alert!

Fortunately, Trevor had locked the door.

The person outside, realizing the door was locked, knocked, "Trevor, it's me! I brought you some cold medicine!"

It was Sophia.

Trevor calmly responded, "I've already laid down. Leave the medicine on the table outside, I'll get it later."

Sophia was puzzled, "Trevor, why lock the door when you're alone in the suite?"

Trevor said, "I took off my clothes."

Sophia sighed. "So what if you took off your clothes? We're married, Trevor."
