Chapter 535 I'm Six Foot.

When Fiona started talking about her dream guy, she couldn't help but blush. "I gotta admit... I'm super grateful you gave me a shot to get close to Nathan, but that's not even the point! I don't hate you anymore. Once I make up my mind about someone, it's tough to change. Anyway, you just can't cheat and make Alex look bad!"

Katherine forced a smile, shifted a bit, and then sprawled out lazily. "Chill out! I won't cheat and make Alex look bad. Even if I ever thought about it, I'd break up with him first before finding someone else!"

Fiona still wasn't happy after hearing that. "That's not cool either! You can't break up with Alex!"

Feeling worn out, Katherine said tiredly, "Alright, if you got nothing better to do, go get some hot water. I wanna soak my feet later; they're killing me."

Fiona put her hands on her hips and frowned, looking annoyed. Katherine actually asked her to get foot bath water.

Whatever, whatever. For the sake of Katherine's unborn kid, she'd reluctantly take care of her for Alex!

Fiona went out with the kettle, and as soon as she opened the door, she saw a guy standing there, hand raised like he was about to knock.

"Sunny? What are you doing here?" Fiona's eyes were wary, and her tone was unfriendly seeing someone from the Mitchell family.

Sunny awkwardly scratched the back of his head. "How's Katherine... Is she okay?"

Fiona raised her chin disdainfully. "As long as you Mitchell family folks don't play dirty, Katherine will be just fine!"

Sunny looked ashamed. "I'm here to apologize on behalf of Scarlett. I wanted to see Katherine and say sorry in person."

Fiona said dismissively, "Katherine's resting now. She probably doesn't wanna see anyone from the Mitchell family!"

Sunny, who usually acted like a little tyrant in front of outsiders, now hung his head in shame. "But..."

"Come in." Katherine's lazy voice came from the room.

Fiona reluctantly moved aside to let Sunny in.

Fiona stood at the door with the kettle, keeping an eye on things. She didn't trust Katherine to face the Mitchell family alone. Who knew what they were up to?

Originally, Fiona's goodwill towards the Mitchell family came from Scarlett. But now that she knew Scarlett's true colors, she had no goodwill left for them!

Sunny walked into the room with the fruit basket he had specially bought, placed it on the table, and didn't know how to start. "Um... Katherine, I didn't know what you like to eat, so I just bought some fruit."

Katherine had just lain down. Seeing someone come in, she moved a bit and sat up slightly, leaning wearily against the headboard. "Mr. Mitchell, you just got out of the hospital yourself. You didn't have to come see me."

Sunny looked at Katherine with a complicated expression. "I just feel that Alice and Scarlett's actions were really unfair to you. I wanted to come and apologize on their behalf."

Katherine smiled faintly. "So you think you can apologize on their behalf, and I'll forgive them?"

Sunny was taken aback and quickly shook his head. "No... you don't have to forgive them. I'm not trying to force you to forgive them. I just wanted to express my apology because my attitude towards you wasn't good before either."

Katherine shrugged, "I won't forgive them, but I won't hold it against you either. Alright, I'll take the fruit and your apology. Now, go home and do your homework."

Sunny frowned, "I already finished my homework today."

"Even better. Go have some fun then!" Katherine said.

"... There's nowhere fun to go," Sunny replied.

Katherine raised an eyebrow and looked at Sunny. It was clear he didn't want to leave, so why was he hanging around?

Too many people had come today, all revolving around her, and it was getting a bit annoying.

Just then, Ambrosia walked back in.

She strolled in like she owned the place, plopped down in the chair by the bed, and said calmly, "Katherine, what do you want for lunch? I'll have someone bring it."

Seeing Ambrosia return, Fiona finally felt at ease and went out with the kettle to get water.

Katherine hadn't eaten much for breakfast and had no appetite. She also didn't feel like thinking about lunch, so she waved her hand, "We'll figure it out later."

Ambrosia nodded and didn't push it.

When Sunny saw Ambrosia come in, he initially found her very familiar but couldn't remember where he had seen her.

But when he saw Ambrosia sitting next to Katherine and chatting, it suddenly clicked, and he frowned deeply, "So it's you!"

Ambrosia adjusted her gold-rimmed glasses and smiled faintly, "Hello, nice to see you again."

Sunny remembered that the last time he went to Kryptonix City, he wanted to sneak into the hacker conference. At the airport, he met Katherine and asked where she was going, but she didn't say.

So, he tried to follow Katherine secretly to see what she was up to in the city!

However, the taxi driver was unreliable and got into an accident with another car, forcing them to stop and deal with the traffic incident.

Then, he met this woman with gold-rimmed glasses who parked her sports car next to him and offered him a ride.

In his hurry to catch up with Katherine, he got into the woman's car, only to have her overtake Katherine's car on the highway, and he lost track of Katherine!

The worst part was, when he asked her to take him to the hacker conference venue, she took him to a bathhouse with the same name!

He was furious and was about to leave when the woman had an asthma attack and fainted!

He couldn't just leave her there, so he took her to the hospital.

In the end, he completely missed the hacker conference he had been looking forward to!

Yeah, that was the time! Now that he thought about it, her appearance was too coincidental, and the series of events that followed didn't seem like a coincidence!

Sunny looked at Ambrosia and then at Katherine, suddenly realizing, "You two know each other and were in on it together! That time in the city, you deliberately conspired to lead me away, didn't you?"

Katherine said nothing while Ambrosia pushed her gold-rimmed glasses with her slender, fair fingers and warned in an enigmatic tone, "Kid, you better not poke your nose into grown-up stuff!"

"Who's a kid? Are you kidding me?" Sunny said indignantly, "Who are you calling a kid? I'm an adult, okay?"

Ambrosia narrowed her charming eyes, looked him up and down, and smiled ambiguously, "Really?"

Sunny's pride was hurt, "What kind of look is that? Who are you looking down on? I'm six foot. Do you have a problem with that?"
