Chapter 855 Trevor, I Don't Care

Ambrosia pinched the bridge of her nose and explained to him, "Because Bernard's people would never allow her to wake up and talk nonsense. You only saw Bernard leave, so you think he would really just leave this nurse alone?"

Sunny crossed her arms, "Oh, I see! Why do you people always talk in such a roundabout way? It makes it so hard for me to understand!"

Ambrosia rolled her eyes. "You're dumb!"

Sunny was unhappy, "Ambrosia, is that any way to talk to your future husband?"

"Get lost!"

In an RV driving down the road.

Trevor had been silent since he got in the car, quietly sitting in his wheelchair, watching the scenery pass by outside the window.

Even though he often had this cold demeanor, it still made Sophia very uneasy.

"Trevor, are you hungry? Should we get something to eat before heading back to the hotel?" Sophia cautiously tried to start a conversation.

Trevor's lips curled into a sarcastic smile, "What, do you have another plan for me? What are you going to do this time? Drug me again?"

Sophia looked embarrassed, "Trevor, no! I was just worried you might be hungry and thought we could grab a bite before going back to the hotel."

Trevor coldly replied, "No need, Ms. Coleman. From now on, I won't dare go anywhere you take me, nor will I eat anything you give me. I just can't trust you anymore."

Sophia panicked immediately. Trevor had always been cold to her, but he had never said anything this severe before!

"Trevor, I know you're angry about what happened today, but I just wanted to have a child with you! I meant no harm."

Trevor turned his head, squinting at her, "Why do you have to use such a method to have a child with me? Besides, don't we already have a child? Didn't you say Julian is our child? But your attitude makes me feel like Julian isn't even yours."

Trevor's words left Sophia at a loss for how to explain.

Trevor continued to squint sharply, "Sophia, why do I feel like you've been acting guilty lately? Are you hiding something from me?"

Sophia was indeed feeling guilty, but she absolutely couldn't admit it.

If she did, there would be no chance left between her and Trevor!

Even though Trevor had lost all his past memories, his temperament hadn't changed a bit.

He hated deceit and being controlled.

Trevor was only in this situation because he couldn't stand on his legs and was at a disadvantage!

No matter what, Trevor believed the memories she had implanted in him, believed they were married, and believed they had a child named Julian.

If he found out now that it was all a lie to keep him by her side, with Trevor's temper, he would rather die than stay with her, speak to her, or give her any chance! Even the current cold civility would be gone!

Sophia took a deep breath and put on a righteous face, "Trevor, what are you talking about? How could I lie to you? We are married, and before your car accident, we had Julian! I just want another child because I think Julian is lonely. Don't you think Julian is becoming more and more withdrawn? Besides, I love children! Now that we have a son, I want a daughter too. It would make our family of four more lively, and Julian would have a playmate. Don't you think that's good, Trevor?"

Sophia was always good at turning the tables, and Trevor was used to it. He said, "So you used such a disgusting method to have a child with me?"

Sophia looked guilty again, "Trevor, it's not disgusting! It's a legitimate scientific method. Many young couples who can't conceive use artificial insemination."

Trevor interrupted her, "Others wouldn't be treated like I was! Locked in a room, forced to watch disgusting porn, and treated disrespectfully by a nurse I didn't know, right? I bet others came here willingly, but I was dragged here without knowing, just to suffer!"

Sophia, running out of arguments, started crying, "Trevor, do you think I wanted to do it this way? You don't know how jealous and sad I felt! You're my husband. If I had any other choice, I wouldn't let another woman touch you! But your legs are inconvenient, and your sexual function has been impaired. I had no choice. I consulted Rolf, and he arranged this! I thought about it for a long time before deciding to follow the doctor's advice. Trevor, I know you didn't want this! It won't happen again! Let's forget about it. Achieving our goal is what matters most!"

Trevor looked at her coldly, his tone dripping with sarcasm. "That's your goal, not mine."

Sophia was stunned and cried even harder, "Trevor, so you never wanted to have another child with me? Have you never cared about me at all? I love you and want to have a child with you. Can't you understand that? We are married. What's wrong with wanting to have another child?"

Trevor sneered, "In a marriage, having a child should be a mutual decision. Given my current condition, do you really think I'm in the mood to have another child? Julian is enough for me! I can't even stand up; how am I supposed to raise and protect another child? Why would I want to bring another child into this situation?"

Sophia felt heartbroken and sad hearing this, and tried to comfort him, "Trevor, I don't care if you can stand up or not! I just want you by my side, and Julian doesn't care either. Our future child won't care! You'll always be the greatest and most handsome dad in their eyes, no matter what."

"As for raising and protecting them, don't worry. With the assets my dad left me, it's enough for our family to live comfortably for a lifetime!"

"Trevor, don't stress over these things. If I cared about your physical condition, I would have left you long ago! But I'm still here, right by your side. I don't care about any of that! I really don't!"

"But I care!" Trevor squinted his eyes, "Sophia, you seem very sure that I'll never stand up again, don't you?"
